Initially, I liked this make-up when I tried it on in store. After I took it home, and saw it on my skin in natural light, I noticed the color was a fair whack off, but the next color up was too dark and the lighter color was too light.
I've tried this with and without primer and it won't stay on, by the end of the day when I take off my make-up, there's nothing left of it. I should note that I am in Scotland, so I'm not in a hot humid climate.
I will not buy this again.
This foundation is incredible! When my acne was active I used Makeup Forever Mat + foundation because it did an excellent job covering blemishes. However my skin has cleared up and I am left with acne scars. I still wanted a full coverage foundation but something that had a lighter consistency and just did not feel quite as heavy on the face. This foundation is incredible! It somehow is fairly thin but covers my scarring amazingly well. I apply it with a Real Techniques expert face brush. I buff a little extra in where my scarring is more noticeable. I do not like the price, but since it does not break me out I will continue to repurchase it. It does not last a full 24 hours but it lasts me from 9 am through school and studying to 9 pm when I finish work with very minor touch ups. It keeps my skin looking fresh and matte, but not chalky.
The Lancome foundation matcher on the website allows you to select a top brand, foundation you used from them and shade and it matches you with the Lancome shade. It was exact for me from Clinique shades to Estee Lauder shades!
This foundation is great! It smells lovely, looks lovely and has great lasting power.
I apply it with a buffing brush for a fuller coverage and my fingers when I want a lighter coverage.
My only issue with this product is the shades, I bought 01 as my skin is quite fair. I assumed 01 would be the lightest shade but it is slightly too dark for my skin. When I purchase this product again (which I definitely will do!) I will probably buy it in 001.
If you buy this product i'd definitely recommend asking the Lancome consultant for advice on which shade to choose as there are loads!
This is the first time I've tried Lancome foundation...Wow I love this. I like a med/full coverage foundation, but some full coverage ones are just a bit too much coverage, and of course the med coverage just isn't enough. I've been using 2 different types to get the look I wanted. Not any more...I honestly wish everyone of you could try this, it goes on smoothly with fingers, beauty blender or foundation brush. If I need to add a touch more to areas, it blends in seamlessly. And every concealer I have used over this works wonderfully. I've used cinema secrets, erase paste, glamoflauge, Mary Kay and age rewind...all blend in perfectly with this foundation. And it lasts all day long...I'm not saying 8 hours, I mean ALL day long. If you can get a sample to try, please do, you may find your holy grail too.

I think I have a love/hate relationship with this product. It applies very well and smoothly. It has medium-full coverage. It is very compatible with my skin tone. I am an NC35 in MAC and wear this in shade 410 Bisque W. It photographs well, even with flash. What I do not like about this product is that it's not long lasting on my very oily skin. In about 2-3 hours I see the foundation break down on my t-zone. By the end of the day it breaks down on my cheeks, completely disappearing in some areas. I keep using it because this is the only foundation that really, really suits my skin tone. It has the perfect amount of yellow that my face and neck are finally one color. So what I do to make this foundation last longer is mix in some of my favorite Estee Lauder Double Wear Light. After I run out though, I will not be repurchasing.

I really liked this foundation. I have been using it consistently and almost every day since I had received a sample in August. I bought a full bottle in Sep and I am very pleased.
I use either a skunk, Real Technique Buffing or Expert Face brushes to apply. I apply over my MAC concealer and place MAC Prep and Prime powder to set.
I have gotten lots of complimnents on my skin since wearing it so it's becoming sort of my favorite right now.
I thought this was thick and was hard to apply. Made me look older and as the day went on it made my face look worse. Very blotchy and thick. In fact I hated it! Clinique is much better for my skin. Would not waste the money!!
Wow. This is honestly my HG foundation at the moment. I love that I finally have a near perfect straight-out-of-the-bottle colour match in 100N (edit: ~N/NW 10-15) and I really love the longevity and finish (more on this later). It's very smooth and easy to blend and while it does cling somewhat to dry skin, I don't find that it enhances dry patches too much. But what I find absolutely amazing is that this foundation looks better the longer you wear it. Usually foundations look great upon first application and start to fade splotchily as the hours pass but I find the opposite with the teint idole ultra 24h. When I first apply, the finish is mostly matte and a tad powdery - half an hour in, the powderiness fades and the fdtn starts to look skin-like. 3-4 hours later, I have a very natural satin glow which stays until the end of the day. I have not experienced any fading or breaking up with this fdtn at all.
A huge factor in the finish you end up with really depends on your application in my opinion. Results I noticed with different application techniques (ymmv):
1) beauty blender: sheer dewy finish (can be built up to a light-med coverage)
2) fingers: natural semi-matte finish w med coverage (my preferred method and how I achieved the longevity results mentioned above)
3) buffing brush: very matte finish w medium to full coverage (this finish looks the driest and tends to accentuate dry spots more than fingers or beautyblender. Over time it will eventually turn into a more satin finish but not as natural looking as when applied with fingers)
All my results were achieved with 1 full pump.
The only minor complaints that I have is that my foundation pump seems a bit iffy - sometimes it works normally and sometimes it sputters out only a few dots despite being 95+% full. Annoying but workable so I'm probably not going to bother exchanging for a new bottle. Second, this is a pricey foundation - $50CDN + tax. However, as I only require 1 pump for a full face, I can see the cost/use being quite reasonable. Will definitely be repurchasing this foundation.

It works amazingly with a loose powder when just applied, the smell is gorgeous, it's a nice natural colour and when applied with powder it doesn't look too matte. Though I had quite a few issues with it, to apply it was hard to layer to get good coverage as it was almost like the foundation didn't want to work with itself, also ,as I have quite a few dry patches I noticed as it go later throughout the day it stuck to them looking absolutely terrible, I also have acne and after a few hours (average day at college is about 8 hours including getting ready) I noticed you could see extremely dark dots through the foundation which is weird because I don't really tend to have black spots under my skin which is a bit weird as I don't have any black spots without it? The coverage is okay. It i do find it shows spots under my skin quite bad after a long day, also it this foundation oxidises BADLY its the worst oxidation I've seen since I used a no7 foundation and that was like the worst oxidation ever, it also transfers quite a lot. Anyway back to the foundation, this is like £26 and I don't think it's worth it at all, the only positive is that the smell is lovely, the colours are quite natural and I didn't really have to re-apply but this is only a positive also didn't dare re-apply incase it looked any worse. It's a definite no no if you have the most combined skin on earth like me as it just looks horrible after a while.
I was searching for a foundation that would hold up well on my oily skin but that didn't feel quite as heavy as Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation so I thought I'd give this a try. It provides medium coverage and a nice finish, but unfortunately doesn't last very long for me. I was shiny within a few hours despite primer and powder, and it definitely fades within 8-10 hours of wear - hardly 24! It also can't withstand heat/minor perspiration at all. It's okay for an average day and I'll finish the bottle I have, but will not be repurchasing. For shade reference: MAC NC15-20, Armani Lasting Silk No. 4, Bobbi Brown Warm Ivory, and I wear 140 Ivoire N in this Lancome foundation.
