I love benefit and they barely get it wrong so purchased this when new out. I loved the effect it created, did the best job I could want from a volume mascara. The wand is lovely and stops clumps forming BUT it dried out VERY quick which is a shame when its priced higher than most high street products. I bought it twice after but havent bought since as Ive had the same issue. I expect a mascara to last, woth every day use, atleast 2 months but this was dried out within that time.
My favorite mascara. None other I've tried, high-end or not, can measure up. It's expensive though, so I keep trying those from the DS hoping that one day I'll find a cheaper match. TR! provides enough thickness and a whole lot of curl and length, which is my ideal mascara.
im so disappointed in this product. it separates lashes really well and if applied carefully, it doesnt clump. it flakes a bit after 8 hours, but its bearable. however, the brush is really spiky! when i was on my third coat, it pulled out my lashes. the horror!!! my lashes are sparse enough already. i now have a small gap in the upper lashes of my left eye. im hoping it will grow back soon. im really sad. i don't think ill risk using this again.
A few months ago I posted about THE BEST MASCARA EVER (Maybelline The Colossal).
ANYWAYS....I that is second best. The absolute best is BeneFit They're Real. I honestly get asked all of the time if they're my real lashes (no lie). The applicator is awesome, gives maximum coverage . The formula is amazing as well! The ONLY downfall with this mascara is that it is very hard to take off (even with make up remover) and it's not even waterproof.
Awesome. I'd 100% recommend it. It's way on the pricey side ($29 CDN) but you can get the mini version at Sephora (which I also have and keep in my purse).
Tried this for 22 bucks at Sephora.
The wand on the mascara is nice. I like the end of it which is rounded and makes it easy to apply to the lower lashes and some of the upper ones that are hard to reach with a traditional wand - especially the huge ones!
The mascara itself goes on nicely, not a lot of clumping and definitely make my lashes look very long and like they have a decent amount of volume. I am hoping that it does not dry up on me too quickly - it seems to be just a little drier than most.
Yeah, I love this stuff. It does what I want which is to 'feather-out' lashes and give the impression you have more lashes than you really have vs. just thickening and coating lashes. I think the greatness of this mascara is mostly in the brush; the formula's pretty long-lasting but I've noticed that this tends to dry out slightly sooner than other formulas. But all in all, this is one of the best mascaras that I have ever discovered. Great for blending falsies with real lashes!
I love the length that I get off of this mascara. It does get a little stick so when you apply it put a few coats before it starts to clump. The brush is wonderful. The brush is spikeyish at the end and really catches all of the little lashes that are at the end of your eye.
Brush is amazing, formula is so so
I received this as a free sample from Sephora, so I'm basing the price on what a mini regularly costs.
I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. I have naturally long lashes that are a light brown. This coats them well and gives a natural look. It even gets the tiny ones on the sides and bottom. I experienced no smudging, which I often get under eyes, or flaking. It requires a waterproof eye makeup remover to get it off, even though the sample wasn't labeled as waterproof.
I'm very pleased and will repurchase this as an everyday mascara.
Update: I'm getting smudging using this mascara on my bottom lashes. Had to go back to my Clinique bottom lash mascara. They're Real still works well for the upper lashes.
Was at the Benefit counter to buy High Beam and the SA asked me if I had tried their new mascara . I said I hadn't and she asked me if I would like to try it. Luckily, I wasn't wearing any eye makeup that day and so I decided to try it out. I have ( like most of us ) tried a lot of different brands of mascara at Sephora and wasn't expecting much out of this . Surprisingly I was blown away with just one coat !
I have straight eyelashes and while they are not sparse , they are not anything spectacular either . Just your average eyelashes that needs a good eyelash curler and mascara.
I really LIKED the way it looked at the counter so I bought it . Tried it again today after curling my lashes . Seems to hold the curl and lengthen my lashes . Very dark black mascara . So far so good. The only deal breaker could be the fact that it's not waterproof. I suffer from allergies and my eyes get itchy and watery , so waterproof mascara is what I prefer. I mentioned that to the SA and she said it doesn't smudge easily.
It made my lashes so clumpy, was so disappointed. Luckily it was a sample! Plus it was really hard to get it off!
