I love this product! Smells good and it protect my lips from sun burn. But the only thing I don't like about are the taste. Anyway I love this product so let's just foget about the taste.
I loved the basic quenched lip balm. It took a few days to get obvious results. The results were amazing. I had very dry lips because of the accutane medication I finished a few months ago. I loved every other kind after that. My favourite is the peppermint kind. And the colors are great, they're not overwhelming but there's still color.
To be perfectly honest, the selling point of this product is mainly in its fantastic marketing. Let's be honest, they're essentially the lip-smackers we all had as kids, just marketed well enough to sell to adults.
To begin with, the concept (and cuteness) of the 'baby lips' idea is ingenious. In addition to that, the colours and packaging are great. I was sold from the get-go and I have to admit, with such great marketing, I don't really mind.
Getting to the actual product, I had to say, it does its job.
I have the pink baby lips (mixed berry) and cherry me and quite like the slight pink/red tint that they give my lips. They smell phenomenal and are just easy to carry around. On top of that, they're reasonably cheap - $3-4 in Australia.
On the downside, the product isn't AS crazy moisturising as targeted products such as blistex, chapstick or lucas' pawpaw ointment.
I'd therefore recommend them for people with normal lips who are looking for a cute lipbalm that does the job and doesn't cost a fortune. If you have dry lips (or if it's winter and you need some serious conditioning like me) opt for a proper chapstick and once your lips are back in shape, go for the coloured baby lips.
PS. another plus is that it's not super sticky - it has a weird quality that makes your lips a bit pouty but it doens't feel thick/gloopy.
Oh and just as a warning, it's hard to buy one without wanting to own all the rest. It may just be the 10 year old in me who treasured her lip-smackers collection, but I constantly have the urge to buy all the other 'flavours'
Absolutely love this product. Very moisturizing with a nice sheer was of color. I have Cherry Me, and it smells absolutely amazing. Can't wait to get more!
I love this product! For me I feel like they do keep my lips soft. Love all of the scents!! Some of them have a slight tint to them. Other than that, awesome lip balm!!
I love this!!! the only downside is that it doesn't last very long
I did not find anything special about this product, if anything it dried my lips out even more! The smell is great however the colors are a little off since they do not come out clear on your lips, the red is bright red and the pink is bright pink. I would stick with a Chapstick over this
The packaging is very cute and it smells fresh and sweet. The issue I had with it is that it's very greasy and dries out very quickly. I got the original one and the pink tinted one, which does not give any tint whatsoever. I did find it as a good base for pink lipstick,as it is glossy.
I first bought the pink Baby Lips, hoping for a wonderful tinted chapstick. My lips get very dry in fall/winter and with all the raving reviews I decided to purchase this.
I can not tell you how disappointed I am!! The pink color seeped into all the cracks of my lips and left them looking bright pink and streaky. It also takes quite a while to get it all off. A few months later I tried the blue bottle, this one was not colored and I used it as a normal chap stick and was still very disappointed. As good as they smell they caused my lips to be much more chapped.
Eh...not overly impressed with this. I have in the peppermint flavor. I pretty much just use it for a balm. I don't find it very moisturizing at all, I usually have to reapply after a half hour, as a result I have gone through half of it already. The packaging is cute, and the price isn't too bad. But I will not buy this again, I like my chapstick better and pay a lot less for it.
