I work 12hours shifts and always found my concealer never held up to the long hours. I bought this and love the fact that I have found a concealer that lasts.
One thing I will remember when purchasing again is to get a lighter shade. I bought it in the same shade as my old concealer, however this has almost a yellow based to it (not a fan).
I know I will continue using it, but I do feel it is a concealer you have to get used too.

PROS
longlasting, covers well, you only need a tiny bit so depsite the cost it lasts a long time.
CONS
bit of a color change, doesnt blend well (I apply it when my primer/moisturizer has not quite dried for easier blending), the pump is awful (Mac should consider changing this).

Can't believe i haven't reviewed this yet. I have tried about every concealer out there and this is the only one that will last throughout most of the day. I have a birthmark that extends under my nose and oily skin in my t zone. I have had the best results with this.

Wish the pump Did not dispense so much, but took the advise of another reviewer and mixed it with my moisturiser! Issue resolved! In love with this. HG

I am not really sure if my rating is accurate. Sometimes I want to give it 2 out of 5, other times I think it should get an absolute 5.

To start off - I have quite severe, very big, dark purply/blue-ish under-eye circles, which are hereditary, they sink a bit down into my skull if fit makes any sense. Also I have quite big eyes and long lashes, so whenever I wear mascara my eyes and lashes cast a shadow on the circles, which adds to the darkness - and combined with fair skin, well you can imagine how tired I look without external help! Obviously, my quest on concealers has been long, expensive, yet unsatisfied. I have used this one on and off for a year, going strong. But always in combination with other products.

THE CONCEALER - It is good, but not brilliant. It is very long lasting and water resistant (which is wonderful when you live in a rainy country as Denmark). The fact that it is long lasting is definitely worth a lippie on its own.

However, it is really not perfect. It does crease after 4 hours of wear, but not in the way most creamy concealers do (in a good way). You really, really have to blend very well in, as it dries quickly and if not blended correctly it WILL accentuate fine lines (and I am quite young, so I don’t really have any). It works much better when I blend it in with a buffing brush, but then it does not cover as well. I usually pad it in, maybe that’s why it creases a bit more, but then again it provides more coverage this way. On its own I would say the coverage is medium, as it sets a bit sheerer than when firstly applied. It also DOES oxidize, which is the worst thing an under-eye concealer could do. It dries darker and more orangey. It also looks a bit powdery, so no “invisible, no makeup-makeup”-look.

I know this is mainly an under-eye concealer, but it is good to cover blemishes - it’s just not something I need, as my skin is pretty good apart from the dark circles.
Although this sounds quite negative, it is the concealer I use on a daily basis. To any other people with the same problems as me (I hear ya sisters!), I use a good moisturizer/serum/eye cream, let it dry, use a facial primer (not a mattifying one! Not as much to prevent creasing but to prevent it from oxidizing), apply the MAC Pro Longwear, and finally Rimmel’s Match Perfection concealer on top (or any other highlighting concealer - Touche Eclat etc.) - this step counteracts the oxidizing colour, you can probably skip this and use a foundation over it, but I tend not to wear foundation. I also highlight the inner and outer corners with a normal highlighter.

I might repurchase, but only if I don’t find anything better - I have a list of other concealers I want to try out.

SUMMARY:
PRO: Staying power, wide colour range, medium coverage, can seem expensive, but you get a lot of product AND the product you have goes a looooong way - only a tiny dot is needed for both eyes, nice consistency. Works for me, but not on its own.

CONS: Oxidizes!!!!!! Can accentuate fine lines and creases. The coverage is definitely not full. Dries out the eye area, so be sure to use a good moisturizer before and after. The pump, although hygienic, really sucks. Does not work on its own - needs a highlighting pen.

II had such high expectation for this concealer, in Australia this concealer costs $32 which is extremely expensive for a concealer ( which is what I paid as I live in Australia) and I know in America it's costs $18
PROS
. Lasts 10 hours
. Looks really nice
.covers good I put This on my acne and it didn't cover it up completely but I don't now if its because its bumpy or what or because I didn't apply 2 coats ?
. Nice colours
CONS
. Looks a little cakey around eyes if not blended realllllyyyyyyy well I use a stipple brush and then my fingers
.annoying pump !! I can't get the amount of product that I want even if I try to squeeze it really softly and slowly it still comes out with the same amount of product
Hope I helped :)

I am IN LOVE with this product! I have always tried to stay away from concealers because they would make me look so cakey or dry me up and create patches. Let me tell you: this is amazing. You can barely tell I am wearing anything!

PRO:
-GREAT packaging. Its cute and small and I LOVE the pump. I am surprised people have problems with it disbursing too much because one pump gives the perfect amount.
-Perfect coverage and it can be build-able for even more. Flawless and undetectable.
-Don't have to carry it everywhere because it lasts ALL day!!!
-Will match skin tone perfectly.
-Doesn't smell weird to me!
-No breakouts
-Super cheap for how long the bottle lasts (depending on how much you use)

CON:
None as of now!

This is my HG concealer for the undereye area. The more liquidy consistency of it makes it easy to apply, and non-cakey, while giving good coverage for dark undereye circles. I'm NC25-30 and use this in NW20. However, although the product itself warrants a 5-lippies rating from me, I am not a fan of the packaging. Though I appreciate the pump dispenser for hygienic reasons, as other reviewers have commented, it dispenses too much product and you can't really control the amount. I also dislike the glass bottle that it comes in - my first bottle of this shattered when I accidentally dropped it on a bathroom floor made of ceramic tile. But I did repurchase after that.

I bought this concealer because I needed something to cover up my acne scars. it covers it very well, but the mu artist gave me a shade lighter than my skin tone. I use it on my under eye and it does a great job of covering my dark circles. I love that bright under eye affect. I have the NW45. I plan on going back to Mac to get the NW 47 so I can use it on my face to cover blemishes. I love that it comes with a pump but it does dispense more than you need. I dot the concealer in a triangle shape under my eye then I blend out with my finger or a cosmetic sponge. I set it with a loose powder using a small blending brush. If you're looking for a great concealer for dark under eye circles or blemishes this one is for you!

This is my holy grail concealer! This product made me fall in love with MAC immediately and I certainly recommend it :)

I am a NW30. I use this concealer for my undereye area and acne scars/one or two blemishes. It covers well and it really doesn't come off easily which at the end of the day is a good thing. Its the perfect balance between blendable and opaque and well I just feel flawless with it on :) Definitely recommend it!

I purchased this product in nc20 and nc35. I used the nc35 to hide blemishes if I've had a break out and it covers everything nicely. When I want the bright kim k undereye, I use the nc20 on its own or I'll mix it with the nc35 . I love this concealer. Its definitely my hg! You cant beat a product like this for $18. Drugstore concealers aren't too far behind in price so its so worth it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 lippies is because the pump is hard to control. It dispenses too much product....

First of all, let me just say that I have fair skin with soft yellow undertones, and these concealers are WAY too peachy/orange hued. NC20 looked fine in the bottle, but ocne applied on my skin it looked way to orange against my soft yellow undertones! I was so disappointed with the colour selection. The concealer itself was beautiful though. Covered my pimples and stayed on all day long. It was incredible! I just need to find a way to blend it into my skin, although I think it will be an awesome concealer for the summertime when I'm a bit more tanned, so I'm excited about that! Anywho, I most likely won't repurchase this for the winter/spring months if i ever want to repurchase it in that time period. Although it seems like it will last me a long time because a little goes a superrrr long way. I will update this in the summer of 2013 to tell you all how it holds up on my skin/matches my skin. But at this point in time, i will not repurchase.
