A little bottle of this lasts a very long time. A little does go a long way when it comes to Grease Lightning. While it didn't stop all my acne or heal everything, it certainly doesn't make them worse. If I get one of those painful pimples or just a rather big one, I would put a bit of this on top overnight, and by morning it whitehead and I usually just pop it. And it just deflates. Some people might be against popping pimples, but I just can't stand having a white puss bump on my face. So in that aspect, the spot cleanser helps.

honestly i did not feel this did anything for me. i still got some breakouts here and there and the pump keep getting stuck.

At first I didn't think this did anything...but I guess I didn't know what I had until it was gone! I can't wait to go buy a new bottle because since my old one ran out, my chin has been breaking out like crazy!

I use this like a serum all over my face before moisturizing and after cleansing. It feels moisturizing, and dries quickly. If you use it as a spot treatment, though, be careful not to put too much on because it can get flaky if you use a ton. I originally bought this for my bf who gets break outs on his forehead from hats and touching his face a lot. This didn't do much for him, but it worked on my hormonal chin breakouts.

This is runny gel which isn't too strong like some other spot treatments are. I use this almost like a serum, I put it on inbetween washing my face and moisturising. Not near the eyes but mainly concentrating on the T zone, chin and forehead.

I can tell this works because if I miss an area of my face for a few days the I will get a spot in that area and then as soon as I start applying this onto the area again it clears up. Sounds too good to be true but the downside is that I feel like my skin now relies on this product - have no idea what I'll do if Lush ever discontinue this!

Aside from keeping my skin clear from spots and redness, it also makes my skin look brighter, it feels cool, toned and smooth.

I bought this along with a few other Lush skincare products, and this is the only one I would not repurchase. I don't have severe acne, but I do deal with hormonal breakouts. With the first few applications I thought this was helping, but after the 4th or 5th application, my small acne turned into raging cystic acne in the places I applied this product. I discontinued usage, and my acne cleared up. Just to be sure, I applied it once more, and yes, there was the bad acne again.

The ingredients in this are lovely, and I see that it works well for many people. However, it clogged my pores terribly and created the worst acne I've ever had.

I do NOT use this as an acne treatment. I use it as a toner after I cleanse. I think it's great!
Grease Lightning is an aloe vera gel that contains rosemary, thyme, grape juice, tea tree oil and witch hazel. It goes on smoothly and absorbs into my skin immediately. It's very moisturizing and gentle on my sensitive but oily skin. I use it twice daily. It has helped considerably with the dry flaky patches around my mouth left over from a rash I had for several months! It also helps keep my face matte during the day - not completely matte but it's an improvement. I've been through two bottles of this stuff and I really love it even though it doesn't quite work how it's supposed to..

I don't get a lot of acne- usually one or two spots once in a while. I used it for a few months before going to bed. Didn't see any results at all.

For the first few days I used this, my mild, but very persistant acne actually seemed to be a little soothed and a cyst on my neck seemed to be shrinking. Fast forward approximately 1 week: My face is a total wreck. I was suspecting that this was clogging my pores, so I tried only applying to blemishes and acne-prone areas of my face. In those spots, I now have huge clusters of whiteheads and 3 new cysts! This is the worst my skin has looked in years and I attribute it 100% to this product. It's a shame because I really wanted to love this product. I appreciate companies like LUSH and the smell of this product was so relaxing. Unfortunately, a product's scent isn't enough to make me buy it again!

I apply this after cleansing and before toning, and it's fab.
My skin is so clear, I can't believe it!
I love looking at my skin now, and I find myself touching my face just to feel how soft my skin is!
