This is a great foundation for people who don't like touching up your makeup throughout the day. It lasts all day which is both good and bad because for someone who doesn't have the time, this can help a lot but for someone like me who wishes to take off her makeup quickly at night, it is a pain. I also find it too thick and hard to apply. It dries quickly when you apply it so buffing it quickly is key. I tried mixing this with my moisturizer to make it thinner, but it's not the same. Won't be repurchasing but good to have around in case I want something extremely long wearing.

Pros:
Initially I liked this - good coverage, builds nicely, excellent colour match does make your skin look amazing.
Cons:
- Horrible packaging.
- Smells awful
The worst -
I purchased this to wear at work to control shine and have a full face but yeah it pretty much wrecked my skin.
Broke me out horribly. I got acne like what I had as teenager if not worse. It started out pretty mildly and I stupidly kept using it because I needed to cover the few zits I had got and couldn't afford to buy another foundation. In about a period of three weeks to a month my face was a total disaster. A month later I'm pretty much pimple free since I stopped using it but the scarring it horrible.
- Settled into fine lines and severely accentuated them. It basically made me look old.
- I have oily skin and this dried my face out. I know of no product that has done this before. It was too drying.
Stick to the normal version of this product and stay away from this one. It's nice at first but repeat usage cannot be good for your skin.

Bought this yesterday! Im already crazy about it. I had cheer practice/a workout at 6:30 this morning, and didn't have time before school to put powder or anything on really..and it surprisingly still looked really well after sweating. I went the whole day without reapplying (Laziness...) and by the end of the day it looked fine, no problems with it coming off on my shirt. It did what I needed, and lasted for as long as I needed it too. I drove home and washed my face though. I wonder what it'll look like without a morning workout....Very impressive Im guessing..! The coverage is what I needed, it evened out my skin tone, and the I only had to buy one bottle, the color selection is awesome! So far no complaints.
My acne went from occasional annoyance to full blown disaster after using this product. It's terrible and now I need to go see a dermatologist to figure out how to fix it back to before.

I have bought this foundation twice because I love it so much. I have super oily skin and this foundation helps with that. You only need a little and it does everything it says it's supposed to do. It matches my skin perfectly and lasts forever! It never sweats off during the day. It's HG magic in a bottle.

ok, so I bought this after reading reviews, and I hated it. It looked grey and thick and weird. I actually returned it. But i ran out of my maybeline 24 hour superstay foundation, so i purchased this again. I really like it! I think i was putting it on wrong, and as for the color it looks fine, i feel like there is sometimes a greyish cast to the bottles, and sometimes there isnt.. maybe the greyer ones are old? anyways, i pour some product on my hand and then dip my elf flat top brush into it and stipple and buff one spot at a time. Its actually less cakey than the superstay foundation i was using and just as much coverage. Its great, the smell is gross, but it disappears after it dries.
I have recently changed from a powder foundation to a liquid foundation, and have found this product was absolutely awesome. If you apply it correctly, you'll have a long lasting natural looking finish. I have found that using a cosmetic sponge works for a good overall coverage, then a small makeup brush works to cover any blemishes. If you want even less coverage, soak your cosmetic sponge underwater, then put a little foundation on. Waaa-laa, sheer coverage. This is a very versatile makeup and works very well with my oil skin. I was initially worried this product would make me break out, as I could not figure out whether it was non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) or not. However, it does not clog my pores, so I am very happy with it! Regardless of whatever your choice of foundation is, if you have acne prone skin, you ALWAYS want to make sure the product is labled non-comedogenic. :)

i really liked this product but the only problem i have with it is that it gets darker when it sets. So it will be the perfect shade then once it sets it will be 1-2 shades darker. that is the only reason i gave it a 4. i like how it stays on my face for the whole day it didnt get rid of my oil but the product stayed on my face for the whole without budging. this foundation is pretty expensive for a drugstore foundation but it is worth it it lasted me for about a year. I HATE THE PACKAGING WHY CANT DRUGSTORE FOUNDATIONS GET PUMPS! this foundation doesnt have a pump which sucks it is so unsanitary! overall i would repurches but in a 1-2 shades lighter so once it sets it matches my skin color
I am a fan of Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua but one of my fave beauty bloggers (Miss Glamorazzi) recommended Colourstay for combination skin. I thought I'd give it a go because despite liking Chanel, it often wears off at the end of the day and I end up with a greasy foundation nose!
Colourstay is definitely a thicker consistency and it has better coverage than Chanel, although it's easy to put too much on and look a bit cakey. I would recommend the Real Techniques buffing brush to apply!
The bottle is heavy and has no pump, so it's easy to pour far too much out. At £12 in Boots and Superdrug, it's a bit more pricey than other drugstore foundations but definitely more upmarket than some of the cheaper ones.
I've been really impressed with the longevity. My make up is lasting quite a bit longer and I have hardly had to powder my nose. Even after a day's work, I felt no need to top up my make up which is a novelty!
The smell isn't great (a typical make up smell which lingers a bit) but with great results, does it really matter?!
Overall, I'm usually disappointed with products but this is a nice foundation and actually stays on the face!! Definitely worth a try!
I'm gonna give this product a big FAT "0"! Why did I only read the good reviews on this product and just ignore the bad ones? STUPID! First off, the bottle has no pump so if it spills it will make a mess. Then the smell.... UGH! Smells like paint! And I could even smell that paint smell hours after I put it on. The finish was just ok when I first put it on, but after a couple hours it looked cakey and very unnatural.... With kind if a grey undertone. And here come the grand finale.... It gave me 2 ugly cystic pimples! (and my skin was completely clear til I used the awful product). I also never had cystic pimples in my life; even during my teenage breakout years! So I urge you all to consider yourself warned before trying this stuff! Ive only had it for 3 days but im taking it right back to Wal-Mart ASAP! Revlon Colorstay... YOU SUCK!
