amazing.... its soo creamy and is truly an intense black. im suprised that the staying power is so strong!!! it lasted up to 7 hours... and could be longer!! but the staying power of the product is so good that when i took off my eye makeup... it wouldnt come off easily... i gave myself a bruise!!! but i went ahead and gave it 5 lippies because who wouldnt want an extremely creamy black liner that stays on forever....

also i use this on my water line... and miraculously this stays put and doesnt budge a bit.... i hope this has helped you in some way

I read the reviews on MUA and decided to try this out. It is very creamy and makes it look like I used a liquid liner but its been a bit over a month and Im almost out of it because i have to keep sharpening it due to it becoming dull to how creamy it is!

I do find that it smudges a bit and i have to get rid of the smudges under my eyes from it. when i put it on my water line it stayed on the entire day but i DO NOT put it there anymore because it fogs up my contacts.

If you were contacts please please please don't waste your money on this!! it WILL make your contacts blurry and you can use eye drops as many times as you want but it will fog up again in a matter of minutes!

I use this only on the top of my eyelids now so it doesn't get on my contacts.

I also love how black it is, it makes my eyes look intense..however I will still be looking for an eyeliner that is cheaper and wont mess up my vision. i'll rebuy this but I will only use it on the top and not everyday unless i need my makeup to last all day.

Went on MakeupAlley today for the express purpose of warning people about this eyeliner. I love L'Oreal products- love them - so thought that this would be a slam dunk. Not so. Very smeary, very difficult to sharpen, and by the time you get a good point, you've lost much of the pencil. I won't be buying this again. So frustrating! Will be looking for a good liquid liner, and going back to my MAC pencils.

Pros:
- Super creamy
- Pigmented
- Has a nice dark grey-black tone when smudged out


Cons:
- Creases (even when used with primer)
- Hard to work with because the tip always ends up being so rounded due to the
creaminess. You can basically only make medium-thick lines with this.


Overall:
I don't really like it, I dont understand what all the rave is about. It's good if you're
going for a dark smokey look but not if you're going for a natural, less-smokey look. I
might end up returning this unless something changes my mind.

Update: I use this everyday now. I think it just takes knowing how to use it, to properly enjoy it. Yes you can't make very thin lines, but what I do is i draw a rough line then smudge it out with my angled brush to wing it out. It's so creamy it moves very well with the brush. I also sometimes rub the brush on the tip of the pencil then apply it to my eye.

As for the blurry vision everyone's talking about, I'm a contacts wearer and I haven't experienced anything like that. I never use eyeliner on my waterlines, and I just do a winged liner for everyday.

This is a good pencil for the price. The words extra-intense drew me to the product, however, this really does wear like liquid liner, which I don't really care for. Looks pretty good when I smudge it, but without using that technique, it produces hard lines.

Very intense carbon black like the name. Not the typical waxy pencil, a little goes a long way. Dries within seconds-so apply fast.

I love this eyeliner. It does cost more than I would normally spend on a grocery store brand, but the pigment is unbelievable. I repeat, I LOVE this eyeliner...no smudging and it is long-lasting.

I'm in love with this eyeliner. Creamy, smooth and it lasts and lasts.. I like to line my waterline with this and it does not budge. Very impressed

LOVE this eyeliner! Definitely my HG eyeliner for all time! I've told all my friends to use this and I am most likely going to buy it for them for Christmas if they don't buy it for themselves!! I always get carbon black, the pencil with the little black smudger at the end and the packaging that says "New Formula." I used to get the regular black (old formula one?) and I do feel there is a difference in the formulas as this one dries to the finish of a liquid liner very quickly whereas the old one was more smudgy for a little longer.

Definitely purchase this one! It is the blackest black ever, no comparison at all to UD or MAC imho. Even darker than most of the liquid liners I used to use. Also it stays forever, no smearing even if I rub my eyes, and I have oily skin! The only (slight) issue is that it is super soft and needs to be sharpened often. But the product is so amazing I honestly don't mind repurchasing quite often. I use it everyday, it emphasizes my eyes so well I often feel like I don't need mascara!

If you're a fan of blackest black eyeliners that don't budge you definitely need this in your make up bag!
