I have been wearing mascara for 35 years. My biggest problem that I have searched to cure was the under eye smudging. Hated it. Since I found Blinc, I NEVER have under eye smudging. It stays on all day, comes off easily with gentle warm water and a washcloth. Otherwise, it stays on my lashes. Love it!!! Never go anywhere without it!

i would only recommend this mascara to people who already have very long, lush lashes, and are only looking for a little more oomph. i have sparse, straight, short asian lashes, and it didnt do much for me, compared to some of the other mascaras i've used (dior show, hourglass etc). the pros: doesn't flake, washes off easily, doesnt make your lashes crunchy. the cons: doesn't do much volumizing, curling or legnthening.
unfortunately..no
i bought this hoping that it can hold up when i need to put my eye drops in...which is more frequent than usual...(thanks to dry eyes)
but i guess the eye drops plus the blinking...caused it to
FLAKE flake FLAAAAKKKEEEEe.. it was a mess..!!! SO obvious and gross looking
and it goes on clumply n uneven anyway..
aughhh o well...at least i can return it at sephora ! :)
This mascara has to be the best invention since sliced bread for me. This is my first tubing mascara and i have to say that I will never use any other type of mascara again....ever! This is the first time I have EVER been able to wear mascara on my bottom eyelashes! When people would tell me to use a waterproof mascara to fix my mascara meltdowns I would just laugh!...People just don't understand that waterproof mascara isn't really waterproof and if it is it doesn't work for everyone because it isn't oil and sweat proof! I have tried almost every waterproof/sweat proof mascara out there and tubing mascaras are the only ones that work. My eye makeup meltdowns are due to a combination of sweat, oils, and watery iritated eyes. Even with all of those problems this stuff will not move at all during the day! I used to have black smudges underneath my eyes within a few hours and major racoon eyes by mid-day. Nothing else worked to eliminate the problem except for this mascara. The only thing I wish is that it was more volumizing and curling. There are sometimes a few stray dry flakes but nothing compared to before! It also washes off without eye makeup remover. My mom uses this mascara too because she can't use eye makeup remover because her tear ducts get clogged if she does. You just simply wet your eye lashes with water and the product just rolls off. Don't get scared when this happens though...because it can look kind of weird. If you have problems like I did and have convinced yourself that you just simply are unable to wear mascara at all please try this! I'm so glad I did! I was about to give up on mascara all together. Don't try this product If regular mascara or waterproof mascara works for you and you can use eye makeup remeover easily so please don't ruin the ratings by dogging it because it didn't give you extremely dramatic volumized lashes unless you have tried other tubing mascaras that worked better than this! I really wish that was the only thing I had to worry about when using mascara!

This is the ONLY mascara I can use. Every other (and I have tried them all) Masara leaves me with flaking, racoon eyes, smudging, etc. It is for those that cannot wear regular mascara, and those who already have longer lashes as it does not really lengthen. I use in BLUE which give me an eye opener. It forms tubes around my eyelashes which then seals, and I have no reason to re apply during the day, or any problems with running, flaking or racoon eyes. IT IS THE BEST ON THE MARKET. I wish the others would stick and seal to my eye lashes. It does thicken them, as it forms tubes around your lashes that comes off with warm water and a tissue / cloth at the end of the day (really easy to remove - no tugging, no make up remover needed). It does last 2X longer than regular mascara, and I am just replacing my tube every 4 months for sanitary reasons (there is no other need to do so as the tube and product is still just fine otherwise to use - not dry - plenty left in the tube). Great for those with senstive eyes. It is $24.00 each but you can find them on EBAY for less. EBAY sellers product may be older or a bad batch though, you never know what you will get on EBAY

This is so natural and long lasting. I really love it- but I had two tubes end up melty/messy for no reason! I didn't leT them freeze or get too hot so I don't know what happened. I love the product though and will buy again. It's great for simple/natural days because it doesn't give too much volume, more length and color.
I was looking for a mascara that would not budge for my wedding day, since I know I will cry like a baby during the ceremony. I went to Sephora and they suggested this mascara to me. It was a bit expensive, but I thought I'd give it a try.
The first time I wore this I tested it by chopping onions, which always makes my eyes water a lot. To my amazement, this mascara didn't budge AT ALL. No smudging! It stayed perfectly in place.
However, I really didn't like the way this mascara looked by itself. My staple mascara is MAC Mascara X, so I like a natural look, but this mascara almost looked like I had nothing on at all.
Today, I decided to tightline my eyes and curl my lashes (which I only usually do for some extra "oomph" since my normal mascara does curl and volumize quite a bit) and give this mascara another try. It looks much better, but still very subtle. Without eyeliner it doesn't add any fullness. My other complaint about it is that it doesn't separate lashes, rather it kind of makes them stick together.
That said, this mascara still has it's uses. I will probably be wearing false eyelashes when I get married, so I can rely on the falsies to add volume and just use this mascara to just blend in my lashes and be assured that it will not budge even while I'm tearing up!

Just tried it today and throughout the entire day I kept looking and how ugly my lashes were! This does not separate my lashes so each eye looked like I had 8 lashes FML! I don't have full lashes nor do I have very little but it not being able to separate and coat each last ruined my day!
The whole fiber mascara got to me which is what made me get it. Make sure you know how to properly take off this kind of mascara (I took it odd when I was washing my face).
Def darkens the lashes and gives length but separating and volumizing is a big NO.
Not my kind of mascara, luckily I got this from sephora and this will be going back. I think I'm gonna try fiberwig. Hmmm
I have SUCH mixed feelings about this.
One one hand, the formula is thin and runny, and is packaged in a tube for regular mascara, which puts FAR too much mascara on the brush. Application is DIFFICULT and takes me 5 minutes (I can normally do my face in 7), and I always end up with mascara smeared everywhere when I use this. The working time is also very short, so I have to remember to do my lashes in stages (more on that later).
On the other hand, it is the only mascara that has ever stayed on including the tips of my lashes all day, and it comes in 5 colors, not just black. It isn't volumizing or lenghtening, it just defines the lashes you have, which is just the way I like it. Actually, I find that this "non-dramatic" mascara has a lot more oomph at the end of the day than any of the regular "dramatic" mascaras I've uses. It is also very easy to remove with just water.
I think a lot of the problems with this mascara could be solved with a shorter brush, and a tighter gasket on the tube. As it is, I have to correct these problems by changing up my application method:
First, I blot the wand by giving it a good squeeze with a paper towel or a lint-free tissue.
Then, I do the upper lashes for one eye ONLY, followed by quickly sealing the mascara tube and combing out the wet lashes.
Repeat this process for the upper lashes on the other eye, then one more time for the bottom lashes.
Finally, once my lashes are dry, I wet a pointy disposable applicator swab and clean up the area around my lashes, because I inevitably leave smears everywhere. That is the good thing about being removable by water and pressure: you don't need eye makeup remover.
As you may have guessed, using blinc means you have to do your lashes before any other makeup. I keep forgetting to use this on days where I kind of need to use it because it's the opposite of when I normally apply mascara, which is a bit annoying.
I want to use this every day because I like the low-impact look and the wear, but it is just far too difficult to use for that.
I HATE this mascara. I love Fiberwig, so when I saw this on Haute Look I decided to try it out since I thought it was basically the same thing and cheaper.
Ugh. Hate it hate it hate it. First of all, a lot of people complain about these mascaras not being volumizing enough. And it's true; they're not very volumizing. But Fiberwig is definitely way more volumizing than this. Also, you get way better length with Fiberwig (that's the whole "fiber thing", obviously. I guess I thought all of these mascaras had some of that going on. My bad).
But the worst part of this mascara is that it goes EVERYWHERE and is hard to clean off. With Fiberwig, I'd usually get one random black spot from applying, and I'd wait 30 seconds for it to try then wipe it off with a Q tip and it left zero residue. This formula is so thin and takes so long to dry that it just gets everywhere AND when you let it dry it actually becomes harder to take off, so you have to use eye makeup remover to get rid of all the black around your eyes and it smudges and is a real mess.
I guess I'll let this sit open for a couple of hours to try to get some of the moisture out of this. I definitely won't be repurchasing, but I'd at least like to get a couple of months out of the tube before having to buy another Fiberwig.
