I bought this two days ago. I used it 3-4 times, I liked it. However, today the felt tip is COMPLETELY dry. I re-capped the product everytime after using it. It dried up in the tube after a few days!!!!!

I bought this because I'm more of a lipstain person than lipstick. I don't know if all the colors are this bad but the coral color I purchased looks garish and bright in a bad way. It literally looks as if you took a marker to your lips. In addition it dries out lips and sticks to dry spots. After a couple months the stain had dried up considerably. Would not repurchase.

This is probably the worst lipstain I have ever tried from the drugstore. The colour was nice, however, the lipstain completely wore off after applying. After drinking or eating, the stain was all over the cup and whatever else I had put my mouth on. The tip of the lipstain dried out extremely quick and I was not happy with this product. I would NOT buy this product again.
I tend to agree with everyone else. This dries out way too fast. That's my biggest problem with it. It also looks nothing like the color on the tube. It goes on way darker. It does have great lasting power and I didn't have any problems with it drying out my lips, but I think I would rather get a lipstain from another brand instead.

I honestly liked this product the first time I tried it...but it really needs some MAJOR adjustments. It really is an excellent lipstain, it has some nice staying power and has a sweet tinge of berry flavor. but the big issue for me is how long the marker lasts. I've only had mine for barely 3 days and already the felt-tip is drying out...I don't understand why. Until improvements are made to this I will not buy again!
I kinda like the stain look and wanted a product that wasn't as expensive as the Tarte one. This went on thick but dried really weird on my lips - some parts dark and some light so it looked weird. And I know that stain is in the name but man this stuff really does stain! I couldn't get it off my lips and woke up the next day with it still on (and looking funny) and i had a dash on my hand that lasted forever!
I think I'll just stick to longwear lipsticks like revlon and mac becase they stay on but not forever! Plus I'm not impressed that Cover Girl still tests on animals!!!
I received four samples of this product as a buzz-agent, and it had its pros and cons. The colors I got were too dark for my skin tone, but I know they sell lighter colors, so that's not really a con. Anyway, it stayed on decently well. It'd be good just for an average day at the office or something, but i don't think it would sustain you well if you were sweating heavily during exercise and drinking water a lot, for example. It was dry at first when I smeared it on my lips, but then the conditioning balm made my lips feel so much better (plus it gave my lips a nice sheen that was noticeable but not "lip gloss-ey" looking). It was very easy to apply, which was a bonus. However, I recommend just lightly applying a bit of color on first to see if you like it, cause once you put it on, it's reeeally hard to get off (i smeared this dark red color on my lips at night just to try it, and it was way too dark for me, so i tried to blot it off, and that failed miserably. I scrubbed my lips heavily with my amazingly good make-up removing face wash and that still didn't remove the stain! I had to wait until morning to try again and i finally got it off after washing it with my face wash and my eye make-up remover). Anyway, it's good at outlasting, and it looks really nice on! It's all smooth color.
At first, I was impressed by the color. I purhcased Everbloom Kiss #400 and it was just as many reviewers described, a nice berry stain. It stayed on all night and only faded a hint after eating. The next morning I went to use it and it was dried out! I quickly returned it and Walgreens had no problem exchanging it. However, they were out of Everbloom so I chose Sassy Muave #420 i think, which is definitely a lot lighter and more of a natural lip color. I liked it and was excited about using it even though it was less of a berry, but I went to reapply literally 3 hours later and it was dried out! I made sure to keep these with the caps on, stored in room temperature and even gave them some time to see if anything would come out...nothing.
Don't waste your money or time buying these! I'd much rather stick to reapplying my lip gloss than ever waste $8.99 on this product again!
Oh My! This stuff really does stain your lips! I went to put the product on my lips, and immediately it sunk in! There's no budging this stuff. Seriously. I scrubbed, used oil, used make-up remover, nothing got this stain off of my lips! I guess if you find a color you like, than this is for you because it really does what it claims to do.
That all being said. I had a difficult time applying it. I have used lip stains in the past, and I like that I have a little bit of time to smear the product into place before it dries. I had no time to do this with this product. The felt tip applicator makes it easy to line the lips, but incredibly difficult to fill in the lips with the right amount of product.
I believe that if one had thinner lips, or really liked the color than this product would work for them. For me, it was not a good match on any aspect!
