This is a pretty good tinted moisturizer. It looks natural and not cakey. My only complaint is it was hard to find a color that matched me, the tone was either too warm or too light. I ended up mixing it with a light foundation and covering with bronzer to make my skin look even toned and the right tone as well.

I think im the only one that wasnt pleased with this product, And although i wasnt pleased, i used it all up cuz i didnt want it to go to waste. I felt that it was very oily, there were times when i would squeeze this stuff out and the oil came out before the foundation. I had to mix it before putting on my face. It also had a smell to it, it smelt like hair dye. Im finally done with this and looking forward to buying something new and oil free.
very nice tinted moisturizer.
Im very picky about foundations/tinted moisturizers because I like my face to be touchable, in particular without having whats on my face transfer onto my hands or clothes, and also without feeling like there is makeup on my face.
Im very pleased with this product because it gives a light coverage, doesnt feel greasy (which is good because I have combination/oily skin) and doesnt look powedery or greasy when it dries, it looks like your natural skin.
Like all smashbox foundations, it has a yellow/warm undertone, even in its fairest colors. Im very fair with pink undertones, but I am still able to wear this TM in the Luminous shade.
I like this product and would buy again, I just wish there was more product for the $$ :P

I have this in the luminous, oil free, spf 15. It is lovely. I have dry skin but this is just right and gives me a luminous glow, not too frosty or shiny looking. Most foundations look thick and heavy on me, tinted moisturizers are either greasy or chalky looking. This one is perfect. It feels cool on the skin and great staying power.
I have this in medium and I like it for easy to wear makeup when I don't want to put a heavy face on. The coverage is sheer. It's not bad as tinted moisturizers go (I didn't care for MACs tinted moisturizer for reference).
I bought this tm on a whim just to try something different. The coverage of this is VERY sheer almost like you appplied nothing to your face but because I dont have much to cover it didnt bother me. What I did like about this is that it gave me a slight glow without looking oily so thats a plus. However after using this for a about 2 weeks my face started to break out which never happens to me so I had to return it. For reference I am between a nc45-50 and i had this in the shade medium.

I was considering a list of TMs/Liquid Foundations when I decided to take the plunge and get this, a brand I've never tried. First time I used it in the morning, it felt velvety on my skin, almost greasy which is strange because it's supposed to be oil-free. After 5 uses, I started to notice a lot of clogged pores but I continued with it. few days later, I seemed to be getting huge pimples on my cheeks and even on top of my eyebrow. I hardly ever get them on my brow area and this one just seemed to pop up overnight. That was when I realise this TM could be the culprit causing my skin to breakout badly. Last time I broke out so badly was when I used Dermalogica's Barrier Repair which was chock-full of silicones. then i refer to the ingredients list for this tm, and it does contain several different form of silicones, not good at all for acne-prone skin. it's going straight into the bin.

This is a must have for me when it's cold outside but not when it's hot.
During the summer this thing just melts off my face and makes it super oily. I was in the Caribbean over the summer where it's hot and humid and all this did was make me sweat a lot. It didn't last long plus it melted which caused me to have make up prints on everything I touched even if I used primer. I've found that using a setting powder gives this more staying power too although mineral powder worked best.
When it's cold outside this works amazing. It's provides the right amount of moisture and tint that I need.
The price is a bit much but it lasts a long time. I don't have to use too much. I've had mine since the beginning of the year and I still have a lot more to go.
I haven't had much breakouts with this even when I was in the Caribbean. It's light enough to not feel like I'm wearing a mask.
The overall ease and use could be improved. Instead of a squeeze tube it could come in one of those upright push down bottle ( I can't describe it quite right).
Overall great product.

First and foremost, I love this moisturizer!! It's actually the best tinted moisturizer I've found, I don't like foundation so this in particular was a good alternative for me. It has a really thick, creamy texture and goes goes on very smoothly. The tube is small (50mls/1.7 oz.) but it goes on very sparingly. Surprisingly, it actually provides a decent, very natural looking coverage. Skin feels soft and dewy, and it is NOT greasy at all. Hallelujah. I'm guessing that's the oil absorbers in it. I live in New Zealand and the sun is INTENSE so SPF 15 UVA/UVB filters are great. I should say to watch what shade you get because to colours are unusually dark, so a person with say...olive skin tone may want to go for the light shade instead of medium etc I have fair skin, but I got the light shade because I don't mind going a little bit darker with tinted moisturizer, given it's sheer-ness I think you can get away with it without make-up.

I have this in Luminous, and my skin is a bit oily (esp. on the nose) with some acne and acne scars. I was looking for something that would even my skintone while remaining very natural -I'd rather have a few blemishes than visible foundation.
This product seems to have a rather thick consistency, but it actually spreads very smoothly and feels very light. It has a slight smell, but it is rather pleasant and, at any rate, weak. Like others, I did feel some sort of burning sensation the first few times I put it on, but that went away rather quickly. I don't think it made me break out (but then my skin's rather tough in that respect -or I'm bad at establishing correlation.) EDIT: I don't use it everyday...but I've slept in the stuff without breaking out.
It does not hide blemishes, but it does even my skin tone, blurring some of the acne scars, darkness and redness. It isn't exactly mattifying -I still need to use some powder or blotting paper. I don't look oilier with than without though, and it doesn't feel greasy either. It's very sheer and it does look very natural.
The packaging is nondescript; however, I had to return the first tube I bought because of a hole near the base (and then I had to go to three different Sephora stores to find a shade that would fit -not even the one I initially wanted, though Luminous turned out to be fine.)
All in all, I'd say it's a very good product -but unless you have very good skin to begin with, you still have to use blotting paper/powder and concealer as well. It's also pretty expensive.
Edit: I'm now using it with a greenish primer and it looks absolutely lovely. Just enough coverage, but looks fresh and natural.
