My favourite BB cream. It has lot of skin benefits, the coverage is really good. High SPF, it doesn't break the skin out, and comes in lots of shades. I personally prefer very light skin on me, so the shade 013 is the best for my skin, but my friends prefer to look a bit tanned, so I recommended the darker shades for them and they all love it,
So a few months ago, I was able to get this bb cream for free for my first order. Although the color was lighter (no. 21), I still gave it a try. I'm more of no. 23 shade. Come on, it was free! I was pleasantly surprise that the color didn't make me look ghostly. It was able to blend well to my natural skin color and provided light/medium coverage. It was very light weight compare to Skin 79 pink. For someone with dry.oily skin, this cream was very moisturizing without the greasy/oily feel. It left my face feeling smooth to the touch. I would definitely buy this product again but maybe try a darker shade.
I've tried a couple Korean bb creams but was looking forward to this one because it's the most popular. I got it cheap for $12 on ebay, in the stores it can be up to $50. It blends very well, has a nice hygenic package, and gives more coverage than others(thicker). Buuut I found that if you have areas of dry skin or a breakout it will look flakey. I tend to find that bb creams with higher SPF do this. Determined to use it, I found that I could get a natural finish but I have to use a lot of moisturizer and then a setting spray. If you're looking for a transition to bb cream from foundation I'd recommend this since it gives more coverage and has a wider range of shades, but if you're used to bb creams is recommend something easier to work with but thinner consistency.
It's an ok bb cream, still has the benefits of Korean bb creams I love, and has high SPF, but I'd stick with a past favourite and try it again in the summer when my skin is less dry or with a Beautyblender because it's difficult to work with.
This bb cream is perfect for my dry and really fair skin! I've had tons of problems with make up foundations in the past, but trying this bb cream solved all my problems right away. I've tried several other bb creams too, but so far this is the best and even the right shade(the lightest one). The price is not too expensive too. Covers most of the redness, flaws and blemishes on my skin. Needs a powder on top of it to remove the shine like bb creams usually do, but that's not a big deal.
I've been using various BB creams since 2008 and this is one of the worst I've tried. Here's my summary
- Good coverage, can be used as a concealer
- Only a small amount needed, very pigmented and lasts forever
- No shimmer for those who like a completely matte finish
And now onto the cons:
- EXTREMELY COMEDOGENIC: I've never gotten breakouts or clogged pores before with any other foundation. This was the first foundation to give me little bumps of plugged up pores. This product has a lot of silicones in it, so definitely stay away if you are sensitive to those. My skin cleared up within a week of discontinuing use of the product and with daily Clarisonic cleansing.
- Oil control is sub-par. At the end of the day, you can see the BB cream "bunching up" in certain areas of the face (nose bridge and forehead mainly).
- Highlights flakes and surface imperfections.
- Balmy texture makes it a bit difficult to blend.
- The cap doesn't fit after a while.
I've been using various BB creams since 2008 and can say that this is definitely one of the worst ones I've tried. My skin is usually pretty good, and this is one of the very few products which has managed to give me not only plugged pores but pimples. The Signature Real Complete and Wrinkle Control are much better BB creams from this brand.
-Cheap-It is cheap for the amount that you get - It has lasted me almost 1.5 yrs and going as a concealer, but if used as a tinted moisturiser it might last 1 year at best.
The product is very thick and spreadable so a little bit goes a long way.
-very hydrating-It helps moisturise dry skin without emphasising those dry flakes
-Covers up redness and blemishes to the extent of a good foundation but not to the extent of a good concealer so it doesn't cover up big pimples or dark under eye circles
-Very good at evening out the skin tone but I don't like using it to the extent of a foundation because of the greyish colour that it gives off if you apply too much.
:. The coverage of this bb cream is the best I have seen so far, definitely better than Garnier's BB cream which doesn't cover anything for me.
-Incredibly natural looking after using powder to combat the shinyness of the cream.
-Packaging - It has a bottle pump which is more hygienic than a pot I'd say, which is a plus. However, the last bits of the product are hard to get out.
-has some sun protection (SPF42 PA+++) and the packaging states it has wrinkle healing, anti-wrinkle and skin ageing prevention properties which may benefit some.
-It has this greyish tone to it - Sometimes this neutralises the redness and uneven skin tone parts of my face but it is a bit off-putting when I try to apply a lot of the product. A bit of powder to set it helps reduce this greyish tone but overall this con isn't too much of a worry if you use the cream on just the parts that need coverage.
-It smells a bit funny - It is sort of like an older lady or mature smell.
-Lasting effect - It survives 3/4 of a day which is not the longest coverage but the best I've seen so far!
-It is shiny -not a con with the help of some matte powder
-They don't have many shades. One reason why I chose this over the signature one is because it matched my skin tone better. It's prob best to try out all the BB creams they have to see which one matches you best.
Overall it is the best BB cream I've tried so far. I think it's worthy of buying if you want a natural coverage or if you just want to cover up bits of the face that aren't worthy of an expensive concealer.

As a 24 year old woman, I’ve been using the same 7ml drugstore liquid concealer for the past 10+ years. I thought it was pretty great. Each 7ml tube would last me 5-7 months. I had to reapply 2-3 times throughout the day (usually early afternoon and early evening) after my initial morning ritual, but assumed that was standard for concealers. I was pleased with the way it looked and felt on my face, and the way it blended nearly-perfectly in to my skintone.
Over the past two years, I’ve started to incorporate SPF moisturizer into my daily face routine as my skin has become increasingly dry. (Age? Environment? Genetics? Not sure. It’s entirely possible that it’s always been dry but I’ve never fully noticed until recently). Plus, I’ve read that the inclusion of moisturizer – regardless of personal skin condition – boasts a long line of benefits. So, I began to purchase a 200ml bottle of moisturizer (approximately $10 on sale) along with my liquid concealer (approximately $7 on sale) a few times per year. I would have to buy the moisturizer every 6 months, and the concealer a few times per year, too. After a while, I realized this method was too expensive for my personal taste. Plus, to be honest, my skin never seemed to absorb the moisturizer. It just kind of sat, lifelessly, on my skin. I had been wanting to try a bb cream for a few years (after reading many glowing reviews, watching how-to videos on YouTube, and admiring KPop idols’ skin). In late December of 2012, I decided that it was finally time to go for it. If it worked out, I’d be saving money annually, and if it didn’t work out, I could re-gift it to a friend or family member. I had always heard extensive hype surrounding Missha, specifically, so after doing some research, I decided to go with “Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream.” I ordered the bb cream on sale, 50ml – straight from South Korea – and after eleven business days, it arrived. I was very excited.
I’ll preface this by saying: I have fair, dry skin with pale yellow/green undertones (and blue/purple undertones under my eyes). I purchased shade #21 and it is PERFECT; it matches my skin perfectly. For reference, I’m usually the lightest shade available when using other products, ie. Covergirl 1 and “Ivory” in other brands. This bb cream has excellent coverage and texture (so soft and natural); it leaves my skin looking fresh and flawless. It adds this special healthy “glow” to my face. It does have a bit of a “dewy” finish, as others have described, so I just pat a tiny bit of pressed powder on top; not too much, as I’d like to avoid drying out my skin. I add a little bit of blush, too. A little bb cream goes a long way, which is great for two reasons: 1) I won’t have to buy the product often; and 2) It doesn’t look “cakey.” I now put this on every morning around 8am and I don’t notice any visible fading throughout the day (or evening)! I can’t report on wrinkle coverage, since I don’t have noticeable wrinkles (other than in my forehead, but my bangs cover that). I can’t report on acne, either – my skin is generally clear, with the odd pimple here and there, and red spots under/around my nose and chin. I am very, very happy with this product. I’ll definitely purchase it again in the future. This 50ml bottle should last me at least 6 months. Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream provides better and longer-lasting coverage compared to my old concealer and moisturizer combined, and I’ll end up saving a lot of money in the long run. Win-win. Very excited and pleased!
I was excited to try this line because it has more colors than most Asian BB cream lines AND it has warm colors, which is great for someone who is very yellow like me. I bought this in #27, which I thought would be great for my NC25/30 skin but it ended up being a bit orange and dark. I'd say it's solidly NC35/37.
By itself, this BB cream has decent lasting power (maybe 6-8 hrs) and a lovely dewy, skin-like finish. It doesn't break me out, but test before you use it because BB creams have a lot of "stuff" in them and can potentially break some people out. This one evens out skin tones and is great at hiding sun spots and acne scars, although it won't cover up extreme redness like erupted pimples. It's light-medium coverage, depending on how much you use. I don't think it lasts as long as the Skin79 Hot Pink BB cream, which wears like iron and lasts 12+ hrs on me. I would definitely set this BB cream with some powder if you want it to last longer!
To solve the color problem, I mix #27 with my greyer BB creams (Skin79 Hot Pink) to get a yellow shade that matches me very well. This mixture gives me a bit of a dewy finish (from the Missha) and longer lasting power (from the Skin79). While I like the mixture, it's just annoying that I have to mix two products to get a good shade, so I'm taking off a lippie for the color range in this line because it jumps all over the place. #23 looks really light on me (maybe NC20?) but #27 jumps all the way to NC35/37!
All in all, I still like this BB cream. It's affordable and easy to find (I ordered off Amazon), and it gives very natural, even coverage. It comes in a squishable tube with a pump, which is sanitary, easy to use and allows you to get every drop out by the end. You may have to go through some trial-and-error to find a shade that works for you though!
This is awesome. So much better than having to put on a moisturizer and then a foundation. This is the ONLY product that blends perfectly with my skin. Pale olive, and I wear color #21. I have not experienced the grayishness others have mentioned. It makes my skin softer and healthier and it looks so natural. I will certainly keep buying this. It's a shame it's so hard to get... but I did find an American seller online and she was honest and shipped fast so I will stick with her as long as she's selling.
I absolutely fell in love with this,, what great cover for such a little tube of product!! I bought this on sale so all was good for me... It easily covers my blemishes and doesn't break me out!! (yet) I will have to wait and see.. but I loved it.. no cakey look.. just something very very light and easy with good cover.. I will definitely buy this again if I do run out.
