This is definitely my HG foundation! I have heard really positive reviews on it from many websites, videos and gurus, so I finally decided to splurge some money in this product. I loved it!! The thing is, I was also looking for a shade that was in-between two foundations, and I immediately found the perfect match from this product! There are two categories that divide the shades- pink undertones and yellow undertones, but the yellow ones are more neutral. However, this foundation matched me absolutely perfectly! I have never had a product that got THIS close to my skintone! It also went on smoothly, covered a lot, and looked VERY natural. The wear was decent- if you use a good primer, this product will work wonders :) It also is pretty good about staying- but be careful, it does react a little with certain powders (oxidization). It is also very pricey- $44! However, it is totally worth the splurge. The packaging is very sleek and light- plus, it has a very convenient pump. Really happy I bought this- it is now my HG, and I will definitely repurchase!!

This is my HG foundation..I love it! It almost melts into my skin and still gives great coverage. I set it with Urban Decay Razor Sharp powder and I am very happy with this combo. The only complaint I have(and it is a big one) is the packaging. I HATE the bottle. I can't see how much I have left and it pisses me off to no end. Every time I run out I am so mad because I didn't have any warning or time to prepare. I am just out. Overall I do love this foundation, as evidenced by the fact that I do run out to get this everytime I run out. They have an amazing selection of shades, it is long lasting, very natural looking, and perfect for combo skin (imo). Recommend for sure..

Love, love, love this foundation. I have tried so many foundations that I've lost count. I found MUFE HD a couple of years ago but every now and again I stray only to end up back to MUFE.

I have 57 year old skin with visible pores and some light discoloration. When you get older it is so important to get the foundation right. I find that I need a foundation that gives an airbrushed medium coverage, lasts through the day but doesn't look heavy, dry out my skin, cake or settle into pores or wrinkles. Not much to ask for, right?

Additionally, more mature skin has to have a spot-on color match. I'm very fair with pink undertones. If a foundation is at all yellow toned, it so clashes with my coloring and makes it look sallow. If the foundation is too beige, it tends to make my face take on a ashy cast or look dirty. So getting the right color is very difficult for me.

What I really love about this foundation is that it is the only foundation I have found that matches my coloring. 115 is a perfect match. I also use primer underneath and then mix just a tiny bit of primer with the MUFE before smoothing it on with a beauty blender. This method gives me the best finish. Then I do a light powder of Ben Nye in fair. This looks very natural and lasts nicely through the day. I do get some oil break through on my nose and usually blot midday. The rest pretty much stays put.

So after my straying to try some other brands, I am thankful to come home to MUFE.

MUFE HD was the hyped foundation on mua for a while, and unfortunately I fell for the hype.

My skin is dry but not Sahara dry, more normal to dry. This sucked every bit of moisture out of my skin, making it look craggy and dull. Flaky patches I didn't even know I had appear when I wear it, and nothing will smooth them out. This also goes cakey very, very easily, even when using only half a pump for my whole face. I guess the only good thing is it has great staying power. I can easily get 16 hours wear time.

Col our wise the shades are rather lacking on the paper end. The lightest is very pink while the next one up, the one I bought is fairly dark. I can wear it in the summer when my skin is a little darker, but in the winter it's the colour of my freckles, not my skin.

I wasn't very satisfied with the stay power of this particular foundation. The color matching was excellent, however, which was why I was so upset to find that within a few hours of wear it started to get greasy feeling. I have combination/oily skin and after three or four wears it made my skin break out in acne all over my cheeks and forehead.
I really wanted to love this product, but in the end I had to swap it away with someone else. Maybe they'll have better luck than I did.

First off, I highly recommend getting properly colour matched. This doesn't just mean swiping on the foundation and saying "yeah that matches" you need to leave the store go shopping come back and say yes or no. Seriously I've had shopping days I apply one colour to one side another to the other. I go have lunch I come back I pick my shade or in other cases different brands to each side. You NEED to be picky with your foundation. If your foundation looks like crap your entire look is shot.

2nd) I am very please with this colour match 118 for me. Its very hard to colour match me I was happy to find a match long term.

3) This is my first bottle I pray it will last long term. So far so good i've had it roughly a month, I don't apply everyday but when I do I am so very happy with the look, I use my fingers two pumps and i'm good to go. So happy

As long as the bottle lasts (and it better for the price) I will keep buying it. Also I do have one warning. If you have acne prone skin like me WASH IT OFF AT NIGHT no seriously, sucker will clog your pores like no tomorrow if you don't.

I am happy with this product and will buy again.

I'm a very difficult match for foundation. I'm very fair skinned, with golden undertones. There aren't too many foundations for that combination. This line has an AMAZING range. I'm a 117. It's almost my exact skin tone.

I wanted medium coverage, but of course avoid looking cakey and overdone. This is perfect.

Application: I use a tapered foundation brush. The foundation spreads very well and evenly. It doesn't feel wet like a lot of liquid foundations do on your face for very long, which made me think I had to use more. But the foundation, even though it feels dry, is still very blendable. Make sure you have moisturized your skin!

Finish: Absolutely perfect. I only use a little powder on my forehead and chin to keep my t-zone in check. It doesn't look either dewy or overly matte.

Staying power: This foundation gives me better coverage for longer than any other foundation has before. I use Dior Nude Concealer over a couple of spots, but no big deal.

I would definitely recommend this. I don't think I'll ever use anything else. The only caveat would be if the bottle lasts me long enough. I'm afraid with the pump I won't be able to get every last drop out of there. But I do appreciate the hygenic aspect of it!

I bought this in a set and it wasn't cheap in SG. I made the mistake of getting one closest to my skin shade which #118. 117 was too light so more or less I had no choice :S it looked ok...until I ended work and when I looked at the mirror. Huge shock. My face was 3 shades darker and orangier than my neck and chest. Horrible :(

And I did realise something about the finishing powder. You MUST let this foundation dry first before u put it or else I will cakeup like hell. I will recommend using the buffer with a very LIGHT pressure. Or it will jus display yr every pore and makes it look worse before u "set" it. It is best if u use a loose powdr brush to pat it in and dust it off and then u buff it as the finishing. But I realised this has not much oil control :s

Hindnote: not sure about the ingredients in their primer but it just does not work for me. It jus irritates me :(

I'm happy that I just got mine exchanged and I got the Dior Overcurl :p

I love Make Up Forever and their products. I first started with the beginner foundation HD set at Sephora for $80. I recommend this if you ever want to try the complete set for cheaper than buying everything separately. Using this kit, I was able to see the HD foundation added to the regular shine on my face. I have oily skin, but I have to blot my face at least twice a day when I wear this foundation. Even using the HD powder afterwards, my face still gets extremely shiny.
