I'd definitely repurchase this e/l in a heart beat. The best thing about it is its user-friendliness.It is a 'ready to draw' liquid e/l that doesn't need any clicking or twisting, which means it's easy to use and no excess eye lining liquid would ooze out and form a glob, a sin that many liquid e/l have. The line drawn is very fine and very natural-looking.
My first pen eyeliner - this was really easy to use and drew a really fine line. The black eyeliner a bit grey - I guess it's good in a way if you want a less dramatic look. I don't recommend using it on your lower eyelids though as I tried once at home and because I had watery eyes it did smudged.
I was never able to use a liquid eyeliner until I found this great product. Its super fine tip works great for Asian. I didn't use eyeliner in my daily morning makeup routine before. I do use it more often now becuase it is so easy to use.
An awesome eyeliner!!! i'm an idiot when comes to applying eyeliner but this product is so easy to use that i can simply draw a thin and fine line on my lids!Stay-power is great too... worth the price, will definitely re-purchase. Highly recommended for people who ain't gd at drawing liners but yet want to make it a gd job..
Okay, I love this product. I picked it up in BR-1 the other day, which shows up as a very dark brown. I'm Asian, but I find that black liners tend to look a bit garish on me, so this suits me just fine. The tip of the liner is very fine and marker-like, which makes application a breeze for a klutz like me. I use it to line my lower lashes since I'm not very well endowed in the lower lash department and need to fill in some spots. I have tried using this to line my upper lashes, but I find that since my eyelids fold inwards, it doesn't make much a difference in my appearance. I rub my eyes often, and my eyes tend to tear a bit when I wear eyeliner, but despite all this, the liner does not fade or smudge. It easily lasts the entire day on my eyes but comes off quickly with a quick swipe of make up remover. I was a bit shocked when I read the packaging and saw that there is only 0.7mL of product for about $8 but with a product like this, I really can't complain. I definitely will re-buy once I run out. P.S when you first open it, try drawing it a few times on your hand to get the ink flowing to the tip, else it can skip a little initially.
EDIT: Okay I lied, it does smudge a bit at the end of the day. When I line under my eyes, it kind of migrates and makes me look like I have extremely bad dark circles. Then again, I have never encountered a liner that didn't do this, so I only knocked down one lippie. I'm sure if my eyes were just a bit more cooperative, it would work great.
This eyeliner is good and veri fine...It won't smudge throughout the whole dae...Reasonable price and can use for quite some time...Good buy!

I have a lot of liquid eyeliners. Kate Super Sharp Liner is one of the best ones I own!
I was searching for a matte dark brown liquid liner by a Japanese brand (I love Japanese cosmetics and use them exclusively now :D) because all my brown liners are shimmery so I needed a basic matte brown one.
I read in several places about how great Kate Super Sharp liner is and since I have a lot of Kate products I love I decided to give this one a try.
It's a very small and slim pencil with an extremely fine felt-tip style applicator. But compared to other liquid eyeliners with felt-tips Kate's is really outstanding. It's soft, not scratchy and sfiff like other liners and can draw a VERY fine and precise line. The ink of my liner in BR-1 is a very dark brown, exactly what I was searching for!
The brush is well soaked in ink thus distributes the color well and evenly.
I didn't experience any irritation and the liner stays on my eyes all day long withougt any noticable fading.
Meanwhile I got the black liner, too! It's not dark grey as others mentioned on me. It's black :D I love it equally as my brown liner! I even have backups here now because I love these liners so much!:P
Kate Super Sharp liner costs about 1000 Yen (less than US$10) in Japan.
this is definitely my HG! i'm a klutz when it comes to liquid liners but this one gives great definition and i'll not leave my home without it(unless without any make-up on)!
Too bad they only sell this in Asia, or else I would be buying it over and over again! And I have to buy it for my friends too because they love it!
This liner is super-sharp, as said, and is AWESOME for tightlining and drawing super super super thin lines. However, it's gray-black, not an intense black, and if you would like your line to have black black, you really have to apply it on lots. Staying power is okay when it's on the lash line, but sometimes when I tightline it transfers to the bottom lid a little bit. Would repurchase.
I'm surprised that this little gem hasn't been reviewed. Maybe it's because this drugstore brand is not widely available? I've used this for 6 months, and I'm not quite the eyeliner fanatic, but I think I've found the HG!
*Raving alert* On to the product:
Price: 1,000yen for 0.7ml. And I think my money's well spent :)
Type: Automatic brush. The person who invented this is a genius. Bye-bye all the adjusting on back of my hand! Bye-bye the trouble of trying to hold the tube, the brush and lift my lid at the same time! Woohooooo!!!
Packaging: Silver plastic body w/ a black cap. Incredibly slim & light. I only wish the silver coating doesn't scratch off as much.
Here's the official pic.
Brush: The brush is really thin and has a sharp tip - and mine still holds its shape. The old nail-polish-esque type still has the thinnest brushes, but it already beats all similar products I've seen. My shaky hands slip even with pencils, but I found myself drawing hair-thin lines in no time with this.
Color: In matte black only. Most liq. eyeliners I've tried are intense lacquer-black & too dramatic for me. This one delivers a gray-black line behind my black lashes. The color is very consistent. I'm amazed at the control over the amount of color delivered by the brush, as it doesn't require any button clicking or knob turning.
Lasting power: Decent. Last the day on my oily lids but will need some touch up for the evening. Won't come off with rubbing (not scrubbing) but is not very waterproof. Easily removed with cleansing oil.
