I bought this blush for contouring and I have used it maybe twice. I have very big cheeks and contouring is a skill I'm still trying to get a hang of. The usual method of the kissy face and applying the blush to the hollows of my cheeks seem to bring my hold face down. Anywho, it looks more reddish brown than just brown on me, don't know if I like that either.
i use this for contour but sometimes if youre not careful it can turn reddish and muddy looking
I can't seem to get this to work :( When i put it on.. it doesn't look like the pan. It goes on with a reddish purple tint. And it looks like i got socked in the face. I tried it a handful of times.. and i just gave up. I tried it with no makeup on my face to see if it had something to do with my foundation, but it wasn't. it looked the same way with no makeup, with powder, or liquid.
this blush is very pigmented so its very easy to over do, but in my opinion is the best contour color mac blushes have to offer!
its a great product, just use a very light hand and build up the color, specially if you have fair skin!
i would buy it again
So, i have always been looking for the perfect bronzer, i came accross this.. its not bad, its just really pigmented. just make sure u get light handed with this, bcuz it can look overdone on ur face if u get too carried away. but overall, it gives a beautiful sculpted face.. super good for countouring!
This is one of those products that now that I know about it I cannot see myself without anymore.
I bought it strictly for contouring after seeing a demo with it. I never really thought I NEEDED to contour but I wanted to try. It took some playing around but I love the sculpted look that it gives my brown skin . I don't need to countour but I like to from time to time.
I don't wear it everyday but its a great tool to have especially on special occasions when you want an extra oomph. I personally would never use this as a blush. its for contouring only. Thats why it will probably last me a million years. A+++
Great contouring color. Heard raves about it, went to the MAC store and had the artist demonstrate how to use it. Instantly my round baby cheeks look sculpted.
Still trying to figure out how to make this work. I am an NW45 and was looking for a contouring shade - can be a little muddy but I haven't given up hope yet.
I complained about my chipmunk cheeks to a MAC SA and she suggested this for contouring on my NC45 complexion. I only recently started using it again regularly and I have to say I love its slimming effects. Be careful not to go overboard as it can turn to a rust color.
I love the color! I have 10 blushes from MAC, but no one is like blunt (I have a lot of pink blushes, like coygirl, breezy, blushbaby and fleurpower). First I thought it looks like dirt in the pan, but on my skin every brownish blush turns to pink. Blunt is a nice color, on me it looks like a bronzer without shimmer and it doesnt turn to pink or orange. Nice for contouring. This is my fav blush.
