I use Vaseline petroleum jelly to take off my undereye makeup with a Q tip. My eye area is dry after taking off makeup, so I use this. It is so soothing. I have problems with my eyeshadows looking dry, so I use vaseline very lightly, then use my usual eye primer, and last apply my eyeshadows.

Vaseline has been a staple in my bathroom since the beggining of my skin care use. It has so many uses, and is so cheap. It works wonders at taking off eye makeup. I also have very very dry eczema skin on my arms, neck and jawline. No other moustrizer can suffice on its own, and I always find myself going back to vaseline for relief. It may look shiny when you put it on, but it serves its purpose and saves those who suffer from chronicly dry skin. It also makes a great lip gloss (and this is coming from someone who hates to wear lip gloss)
I use vaseline on for my lips mainly but if you decide to pop a pimple you can put a tiny dab on it and it will heal faster. putting vaseline anywhere causes me to break out so i stay away from that.
this is my staple for the winter.. i wear this every night and wake up with baby soft skin in the morning... does better than any other moisturizer for dry skin.. i never wake up with flakes with vaseline
This is a very useful product beauty wise and non-beauty wise. I find it difficult to not like this product for one reason or another.
My skin was getting very very dry during the winter months. I covered myself in vaseline everynight before bed. THIN is the way to go!
Vaseline on hands in cotton gloves overnight is cheap and works wonders.
My mother bought a tube version and had a very difficult time squeezing it out!
Love it! Put this on your feet and hands and then sleep with socks and gloves. It equals perfect, soft skin in the morning. I've heard that you shouldn't use it on your face, though.
My favorite lip balm. I have been using this for years for lip balm and to condition dry feet. Sometimes I would use it to remove eye make-up, but I did not like the greasy feel it left around my eyes. The best lip balm and and I will continue to use for years to come.
I love Vaseline as a lip gloss. That's all I use it for. I am submitting this info because it seems so many people use this product on their face, and I wanted to let y'all know what I have learned.
Stage performers knew at one time that Vaseline promotes hair growth. I have learned this from my 73 year old mother who was an actress... early in her career she was warned not to use Vaseline on her face by a 60 year old stage veteran. Some women of that generation would use Vaseline on the tips of their eyelashes to make then longer.
I recently switched to Albolene as a makeup remover. Not paying attention to the fact it has petrolatum in it, I was using it also as a moisturizer. I now have extra hair on my face including a very slight moustache.
If your looking for something to moisturize your skin forget about it. Vaseline will sit on top of your skin while your skin underneath it will dry into dust. This goes for using it on your lips, face, body or even babys skin or as some people do, your hair. Better to use pure shea butter which is more beneficial for you and won't clog your pores or something with petroleum somewhere near the bottom of hte ingredients list rather than at the top.

This product is bad I would not use Vaseline at all as a moisturizer because it does nothing for your skin but possibly protect cuts or scrapes as for use to moisturize the body it is so dry it soaks up very fast, you would have to continuously apply it all day long, I would rather use Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion.
