Best brush ever, I can use it in so many different ways, better than any other MAC foundation/ powder brush I have ever tried. It's sooo soft and dense and they don't text on animals, so the hairs are synthetic! I don't know what I would do if they ever got rid of this brush!
I use this more than i use any other brush I have. I use this for all over powder, blush and for blotting. This brush is soft and when I wash it, it does not loose it's shape. Bristles are also firm but not flimsy as well. This is worth more than 3 dollars. I been using it for a year now and it is still in great shape.

Love this brush to apply liquid foundation. It buffs it in my skin really well, and doesn't shed
Totally love this brush. It is soft, and applies my loose and pressed powders really well!
I am definitely going to purchase more of this brush to use for other purposes and for backup!
Great really cheap brush! No shedding issues at all. Great quality flat topped brush that's great for applying any type of foundation and powder! Does an amazing job.
I cannot believe how amazing this brush is! - I feel very silly for purchasing and spending so much money on my MAC 109, because it doesn't hold a candle to the E.L.F powder brush. I have been wanting to try the Studio Brushes from E.L.F for quite some time- however, shipping is $14 to Canada, so I never bothered. I decided to purchase a couple recently, due to the constant amazing reviews- and I couldn't be happier with all of them. I first tried this for powder, and it works very well for that purpose, but I wanted to play around with it more. When it comes to liquid foundation- I like finger application, combined with a damp sponge....I decided to try this today with my liquid foundation, and good gracious! I got the most even, airbrushed, blended finish! this brush buffed everything in perfectly, with 0 shedding (unlike the MAC 109) and it was so soft against my skin, not scratchy! ....Today, I used some blush from MAC, called 'Bite of an Apple' a very bright blush- after application, I used this brush to blend out the pigment and bit and any harsh edges & it worked perfectly without removing any blush or leaving splotchy areas. I am so pleased with this purchase, and for $3?! I will be purchasing back-ups of this for multi-use :) everyone needs to try this brush! not only is it inexpensive, but it also looks sleek and classy.
*UPDATE*
I am still floored by the quality of this $3 brush- this is truly amazing. Another thing that is awesome is that this does not soak up foundation! and I think that's great. The reason why I hated using brushes with foundation was because the brush ended taking off half of my makeup which was a waste. continued >>

Great Brush!
It work best with cream foundation (Maybelline smooth mousse) and mineral foundations because of its dense bristles. This brush pushes and smooth out a cream layer or powder (mineral foundation) between your face and the brush, so using this for your setting powder might smother another layer of powder on your face which might appears what most call cakey. However, if a power let's say MSF is all you need for your face w/o foundation, this brush will work great as well.
You can't beat the price of this brush for its quality and functionality.
I use two of this brush, one for cream foundation one for powder and one in the cabinet as backup. Its that good!
This is an excellent brush for applying powders and one of the best brushes in the e.l.f. Studio Brushes lineup. As a vegan, I'm always on the lookout for high quality, synthetic brushes, and for $3, this is a terrific buy. I use it daily for mineral powder foundation, regular powders and finishing dusts. The Taklon bristles are incredibly soft, densely packed, and do a great job picking up product.
On the flip side, I find the handle is poorly designed, looks kind of ugly and feels too long. The first time I washed the brush, the glue holding the brush section to the handle apparently dissolved. The top is now loose and wobbles around during use. I want to replace the Studio Powder Brush with another flat top brush from a different brand, but after several tries, I still haven't found anything suitable. Until I find something better, I'll stick with this brush from e.l.f.
This brush is gorgeous. Soft as a baby, and gives such an easy flawless finish.
I haven't looked at my super-expensive MAC 187 since I got it. It's frequently sold out on the EU sites, so I bought two. At 3.50 each, why not?!
Oh and check the Facebook page for shipping offers. I got shipping for 1 euro.
A really great quality brush from the E.L.F studio line! This is a multi-purpose brush I must agree! I usually use this for setting my TM with powder and it works wonders! This is a super dense brush and the secret to using this is a light hand. It tends to eat a lot of product if misused (since the bristles are densely packed together). I gave it short of a lippie just bec I find cleaning up this brush quite challenging. It takes a lot of time letting it dry too so I suggest you clean it before you sleep so you can use it the next day. A great $3 dollar spend! Love it!
Highly recommended!
