I also LOVE this eye makeup remover I used Merle Norman and it was VERY similar to this and when I found this for a fraction of the cost I was very grateful and happy--It takes off the hardest to get off mascaras without too much terrible tugging or stretching (I apply to my eye for a few seconds and then wipe a bit but not too roughly!)
It is a very very good makeup remover at any cost but I hope they keep it LOW
Hope you love it if you try it :=)
I use this eyemakeup remover a lot, I wear eyeliner and sometimes eyeshadows and I love how this removers all my eye makeup so quickly with lil or no hassel. Yes, it does leave a lil Oil residue but I dont mind it at all since I wash my face right afterwards. I know a lot of ppl have a problem with the left over residue but its not Oil its Glycerin. The only thing I dont like about this product is the cap and the fact that it has an opening too large, so if you dont tighten the cap it will open and spill all over. When ever I have to repurchase it I tranfser it into another container that has a pushup cap that snaps open and releases only a lil bit of the product so this way I have total control of how much comes out. It cost about $8 at the drugstores but I always wait for the BOGOs and stockup. Other then that I really love how this product removes my eye makeup... Will purchase again!!!
Was OK. Left a weird greasy feeling residue.
I tried about 5 or 6 different eye makeup removers from oil of olay, clinique, remmil, revlon, etc. because not all would remove my waterproof mascara and or they burned or left horrible oil residue. This product didnt burn, took off the very thick waterproof mascara, and didnt leave a horrible oily residue. I have to say though, allthough it does remove the waterproof mascara it takes quite a few cotton balls to get mine off, and this one did the best job out of all of them.
One bottle lasted me about 2 weeks maybe longer and with daily and sometimes 3x a day usage because i have been expeirmenting with eye makeup lately.
Almost out and need to run out and buy more!
My HG eye makeup remover. It isn't oily, doesn't sting or irritate my very sensitive eyes, removes most of my waterproof mascara and liner and is very gentle. It does the trick and isn't too expensive. I definitely recommend it!
Tried this for the first time the other day and I am in love!!! Great stuff, works well, no scent and not oily. The price is great and it comes with plenty of product. Will be repurchasing....
Love love love this stuff, it takes all my eye makeup off with no left over residue it's oil free and it's so conditioning on my eyes. A bottle last forever. I will continue to purchase over and over as long as they keep making it. I knock one lippe off in packaging quality due to when it's almost gone it's hard to get the last drop out for some reason...
I use Shiseido: The Makeup mascara base and Diorshow Iconic which is a total pain to remove.. but then today i Bought the Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover and its so easy to remove! Usually it would take 2 cotton pads for each eye with my previous makeup remover, but with the Neutrogena makeup remover it's only half a cotton pad for one eye ;)
I am soooo sorry I did not switch to this eye makeup remover earlier! I was using Maybelline Expert Eyes and did not want to wear makeup because it was a pain to remove. When I finally finished the bottle, I bought this Neutrogena one. And I only said "Wow!" This is super easy and fast. With couple of swipes and twirls with a Q-tip, my mascara is completely gone. Eyeliner takes a second. It is absolutely a wonderful product and lasts forever. I just wash my eyes when I'm done to remove the "oily" residue. Great Product!!!!
Since I like Neutrogena products, I thought I would like this. I ran out of my usual Almay eye makeup remover the other day and decided to try Neutrogena's instead. BIG mistake. The solution worked well enough to remove all traces of my eye makeup, but it left behind a really weird filmy residue. Oil perhaps? I know the product is oil-free but if you look at the solution in the bottle there is distinct oil and water separation. I don't get it. My eye lids felt really weird and dry after washing my face which I thought my be related to this new product. My fear was confirmed in the morning when I awoke to red, puffy and irritated eyelids, a tell-tale sign for me that something isn't agreeing with my sensitive skin. Back to Target went this product and I exchanged it for my usual Almay eye makeup remover.
