I've been using this for several years, and I'm quite satisfied with it. It doesn't sting when some of it gets into my eyses, and it remove all my eye mu with almost no problems. Two to three swipes with the wetted cotton ball takes everything off.
Only complaint I have is that it is slightly drying and I have experienced slight flaking around the eye area.
This is like my almost HG Remover. I love it! =)
In my opinion, its only seconded to the Lancome Bi-Facil Remover. Lacome works wayy faster and more effective, but its a lot more pricer too...
I gave it a 4/5 because i've only used three different make up removers, so i cant be exactly sure that it is that awesomee, but as of now, its AWESOME. It gets rid of my waterproof mascara pretty fast (again, not as well as lancome, but good enough) and i use it to get rid of my foundation/concealer too.. before i use the cleanser to finish the job.
It does leave this oily film though, although its oil free. I asked this lady at the makeup counter, and she told me its silicone.. ah well.. it comes off with a little bit of cleanser. xD
Smudge some UDPP and dark eye shadow on your hand, put a drop of Lancome's remover and watch it dissolve like magic. Yeah Neutrogena won't do that for you, but it's also SOOO much cheaper. So now save the Lancome for smokey eyes and late nights when I want heavy duty and quick. But for everyday eye makeup, I use Neutrogena. Yes it feels a bit oily on the lids, and I used to hate that too, but I've found that bilayer oiliness is much more effective. I also used to hate acetone in nail polish removers since it's bad for you and dries your nails, but it's also the most effective way to remove nail polish. In the end, you gotta use the most effective chemical for the job. I'll stop using the word effective now.
Before I used Body Shop's chamomile, Clinique rinse off, and Origins well off. They all worked alright, but if I'm going expensive it's going to be Lancome and if I'm going cheap, might as well be Neutrogena.
I LOVE THIS STUFF!
It although it makes under my eyes kinda feel oily, it has never once made me breakout. It even takes off my waterproof masarca.
a staple of my everyday routine over all these years. one with the best quality price ratio,
Agree 100% with the previous reviewer - I have tried a million eye makeup removers and keep coming back to this one. It removes my eye makeup without the greasy, oily feeling of most eye makeup removers. Can't recommend this one enough!!
This is my HG makeup remover! (The one that you have to shake not the one w/ the pump, they are both totally diff). I have tried sooo many in the past & nothing worked as well as I'd like it to, with the exception of MAC's Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. Neutrogena's makeup remover works the same as MAC's, but is WAY Cheaper!
I use it to remove all of my face makeup, not just around my eyes. It's really great for sensitive & acne prone skin too (I use it before ProActiv everyday). It has aloe, cucumber, & chamomile to sooth dry & / or sensitive skin. Hasn't broken me out yet & I've been using it for months =)
This is one of those times when I wonder if we're all talking about the same product because this product did not work for me. Then again, I have crazy sensitive skin so I'm not all that surprised. First off, it took 4 cotton balls to get off non waterproof mascara ONLY (I don't usually wear eyeshadow) and it left a greasy film on my skin. I of course washed my face after each time I used this, however I still broke out at the very top of my cheeks (a little under my eyes). I figured my skin was just getting used to a new product so I continued to use it but the more I used it, the more I broke out...I'm moving on to Clinique's take the day off....
This is a product that I've repurchased many times, and yet am not completely thrilled with. It works much better at removing my eye makeup than most brands I've used. It's inexpensive and readily available at the drugstore. It also has a greasy feel, even though there's no oil in it and leaves a film on my skin. I can't use this to remove my eye makeup if I'm planning to reapply because my new makeup will just slide off. Also, one time I forgot to rinse my eyes (don't ask, I was talking on the phone, applied it and then walked away). After about 5 minutes, I realized that my vision was blurring and I could barely see!! Ha! I am willing to concede that this was more my fault than the product's....
this is a great makeup remover that doesn't leave a greasy feeling. removes mascara and eyeliners very easily. doesn't sting my eyes either. costs $6. great product so definitely would repurchase again.
