Well, I just was reading about this lipstick and I went to the store too see if they have one for me and Oh Surprise! Macys and Nordstrom dont have it. It is sold out. But I found one in a Robinsons may store. The color look almost black but when you put it in your lips it look totally different; look like a neutral red color. Is like if for example your lipd are red after a kiss for example...jajja, but shiny too. Is a beautiful color. I am a little crazy about lipsticks but this one is pretty.
I've bought this lipstick again and again over the past 12 years. It was my first lipstick and will probably be my last. Suits every skin color, goes from day to night, glides on smoothly - I could go on and on. When I found out this line would be discontinued in Manila stores I stocked up, but luckily it's still available abroad. Can't say enough good things about it. Everyone I've given a tube to loves it too. It's perfect!
Ahh.. you have to get the limited editions! Just too hard to resist. I love this color. I have dark brown hair/green/brown eyes. It looks fabulous! Love love love it! :)
I can see why this is such a popular product - it moisturizes, glides on effortlessly, gives a nice, natural sheen to the lips. My only complaint is that it is half the size/weight of other lipsticks (1.9g versus the usual 4g) so you don't quite get your money's worth and that the shade is similar to so many others out there. I will most likely repurchase this in another shade. continued >>
One of those rare colors that seems to look good on absolutely every skin tone. I'm very pale with dark hair and it suits me really well. Good for those days when you don't feel like fussing over yourself- it helps you look a bit more finished than going bare faced! I would prefer if it came in a tub, though-while some people say it's easy to apply i find very thin lipstick tubes actually make things more difficult without a mirror.
Fine, fine. Jumping on the bandwagon was half the reason I got this. But hey, after trying it on their counter I realized it was actually a nice shade for me.
Don't get intimidated by the color on the tube. It actually gives a sheer, plum shade. It isn't too violet too it's almost like a lip blush for me. It's good if you want extra color on your face without eyeshadow or blush. I like the balmy consistency too which makes me not reach for my lip balm whenever I'm using this. The sleek tube is a plus too I can just slip it in my coat pocket. Another repurchase! :) continued >>
Great color that goes well on many many skintones. It can change color, depending on your body chemistry. Use as little or as much as you want to change the intensity of the color. Easy to swipe on without a mirror, IMO. I've used this as a makeup staple for about 11 years! It blends well with other lip products. It has never failed me or my friends/relatives who have used it.
Too much ado about nothing. This is a very sheer, berry shade. On my lips (naturally a rosy pink), it adds barely a hint of colour, if that. The quality of the gloss itself is hardly exceptional. I could have got better results with my
old lakme plum lipliner, and a jar of vaseline. The packaging is cheap and tacky, and for USD 14.50, I would have expected something at least bit more sophisticated. I hate wasting anything, so I will be using this tube, but I will not be purchasing it again.
This is my favorite daytime lipstick. I think it's very natural and girly. I don't care for the packaging too much. The top seems to come off easily when this is in my purse but everything else about this lipstick is divine. I wear this with my mac cranberry lipliner and this makes it more pink which I love. I hope this is never discontinued.Edit: I prefer Prescriptives Black Currant now.
I agree with all the hype...a great sheer wine color that would look good on most. I say that because I am a redhead and have a hard time with lipstick colors and this looks wonderful. Does not turn pink on me.
