I have this as a GWP and the packaging is falling apart. I imagine the regular packaging is much nicer, like it is with Clinique's regular lipsticks. Anyway, this is a very gorgeous colour that shows up as a medium plummy red on me. Very, very nice.

Wow. Most beautiful lipstick/gloss/sheer shimmer I have ever used. Friend loaned it to me and I kept it for a while!!! You can put on a little for a sheer wash or layer it for a deep blackened red shade. Absolutely beautiful, and now they have come out with a whole collection with it! sigh.
This is a product i WOULD get again, but i like to try new things. that said, i like the texture of this. its smooth and moisturing unlike other lipsticks. the colour is deep and subtle, a very natural made up look for my tan asian olive skin.
Here I am, the one person this does not look so good on! It's actually sort of flattering to my skin tone, but darkish colors tend to make me look more "mature". I still said I would buy this product again, because I probably would someday. It's sort of a basic to have around. Like others have said, this seems to have come my way as a freebie most of the time.
I prefer the black honey shade of the new eyeliner...a nice real brown color. The Almost Lipstick is a deep brownish magenta.

I use this in the Summer time. I love the slick feel and the color is so pretty!! I have only paid for this once, because it seemed that Clinique was giving this away in almost every GWP at Macys and Nordy's. I think that the color is so great, it would go great on everyone.
I absolutely love this lippie to death - I keep coming back to this for natural but polished lips. It works for uni, work and applied a little heavier, works well for office wear too.
Texture is a little tacky, and could be more moisturising, but it doesn't feel stick or catch your hair. Slightly shiny but again, a very polished look on me.
Goes well with pretty much all make up looks, which is great as a lot of my other lip products need to be matched to different looks.
For reference: I'm NC35, Stila 40 watts, Chanel #25, warm toned Asian skin.
This is a HG lipstick. Texture is moisturizing, sheer, and glossy. Color is the perfect shade of neutral plummy red -- it can be sheer or intense depending on how many layers you apply. Leaves a light stain on the lips as it wears off. This is the only lipstick that I repurchase regularly.
I've been wearing this for years and have repurchased many times. This gives my lightly pigmented lips a nice sheer reddish/berry/brown shine, and seems to go with everything. It's the only lipstick my makeup-phobic sister wears, when she wears any. If I had to choose just 2 lipsticks to use, this and Bobbie Brown's mauve lip shine would be it. I don't consider Shiseido's Honey Tea a real substitute since Honey Tea is just plain glossy brown on me. My only complaint is that I prefer a traditional lipstick shape since I have very defined lips and the point helps me apply the lipstick, but this is narrow enough that it's ok.

I have used this l/s off and on for about 5 years and recently rediscovered it. It's a sheer brown-berry that's seasonless and perfect on nearly every skin tone. I agree with the other MUA-ers who feel that it brightens complexions. I won't lose track of this color again! Wonderful natural look without being "blah". Skin is NW20 with brown hair/hazel eyes. WILL REPURCHASE! Sells for $14.
