I loved the original Lashblast but I'm not a fan of the Lastblast Fusion. I love volume that the orignal gives but I get almost no volume at all with this stuff. It just mearly makes them darker. I haven't really noticed either that it made them longer. Won't be buying this again. :(
It took me awhile to get used to the regular Lashblast but once I did it became one of my favorites. Now, with fusion, I am even more impressed. I do think that mascara is Cover Girl's one sure thing. Lastblast Fusion makes my lashes look great at first application. In fact, several times one application per eye have been all I have needed to make my lashes look great for the day. I have had no flaking or smearing with this - so I will be using this regularly along with the regular Lashblast and Lancome's Definicls.
According to the packaging, it's the Length formula with the Volume brush but I beg to differ. The Lash Blast Length formula never left my lashes crispy. This does. I also think that at full price it's pretty pricey for a drugstore mascara too (hooray for coupons!).
wowie wow wow. i (like many other reviewers) was using the original orange lash blast wit rimmel sexy curves for volume+length. at one point i thought about buying lashblast length to go with my lashblast volume but i stuck with the rimmel. anyway...i saw an ad for this fusion stuff and im like "no way! they combined them? genius!" so today i bought it in very black and i feel like a butterfly :) i love how long, dark and thick my lashes look! i dont even need other makeup or eyeliner! this mascara is definitely my new HG! 2nd in line is of course my original lashblast....way to go covergirl! <3
I was using Lashblast in the orange tube and thought I'd give this a try when I needed more mascara. I LOVE Lashblast in the orange tube, so I thought this must be even better!. It's not. It's okay, but I'll be going back to the orange tube next time.
This mascara is definitely not as dark/black as the regular last blast. The lengthening fibers work ok sometimes but I have long eyelashes and if they hit my glasses or my brow bone the tips curl and bend funny. It also doesn't glide on as smoothly as the orange tube so you might get a small clump or two. Overall its a decent mascara but I would definitely choose the orange tube over the pretty purple.
Don't waste your money. This is a so so mascara at best. It did not lenthgen my lashes nor make them fuller. What it did do was make them so stiff that if I touched them they would chip in half.
The only thing I liked was the pretty purple tube
WOW. This has got to be one of my all time fav mascaras! I am not a fan of the original LashBlast at all. I thought it was average at best. LashBlast Fusion, on the other hand, is amazing. It blows the original out of the water, as far as I'm concerned. I have always heard people claim that certain mascaras give them a false lash look, but have never experienced that until now. Fusion really does make my lashes look like falsies! This mascara makes my lashes look long, defined, fuller, and thicker. LashBlast Fusion truly does multitask. A definite repurchase for me! I have been a long time skeptic of the whole LashBlast line, but Cover Girl, you finally won me over.
If I had to pick one down side to this product, it would be the largeness of the brush (as was one of my gripes with the original LashBlast). It is very big, and makes it almost impossible to reach tinier lashes, such as the ones on the inner corner of the lid. But since I love this new formula so much, I can put my issues with the brush aside and just enjoy how plush it makes my lashes look.
Two words to start: NOT. IMPRESSED.
I have tried every version of Lash Blast and am the least impressed with this version which promises length and volume. I do like the color of the packaging....very pretty purple yet same size and shape as the regular lash blast tube. To me it would have been more interesting to maybe have the same shape tube as regular last blast but maybe make it longer - like it really was fusion between volume and length. But that's just me.
Ok....so the wand for this is the exact same as regular which is fine with me because I don't mind the ginormous wands. It's just that....well...this just doesn't WORK for me. Maybe my expectations were too high and I thought I would have almost false lash looking eyelashes but heck, I get more length from the waterproof version of regular last blast and it doesn't even promise length!!! Also, I don't find the Blackest Black color to really be all that dark and black which also seems different to me than the regular Lash Blast.
Seriously, I TRIED to like this. I WANTED to like this. I WANTED this to be the answer to all my lashes desires. But, it's not. For me, it's back to the search. I will not be repurchasing. Hell, I'll be lucky to use up the tube I have, much less buy again.
Out of all the LashBlast mascaras, this is the most disappointing. With all the hype, I thought it would be amazing! I will just start off with the basics on why you shouldn't:
- The brush is too big and awkward. It's tiny, tiny fibers can't hold the formula, which is too chunky and gloopy.
- It is just so blaaahhh. It just is pretty clumpy - kind of lengthening. But the brush and formula is what really killed it.
- The size of the bottle is awkward and too big for a small makeup bag.
- For 9.99$ you could get better @ a drugstore most certainly.
Instead of buying Fusion, buy Maybelliene Colossal Lashes and CG Lashblast Length and you would still have less clumps using them together. Or for a department store alternative, try Clinique High Impact.
All of those are better than Lash Blast Fusion :/
