I've been using this brush to stipple my Revlon CS on for months. It works perfectly, is very soft and dense, and cleans up easily. My first brush is beginning to shed some bristles from the outer edge and I suspect it will fall apart at some point, but I did only pay $3 for it. I have since purchased 3 more. I love it for a fuller coverage powder application as well. I will always have this in my personal stash and kit.
THIS IS WORTH THE HYPE! finally picked this up at target the other day. I've been looking for it every time i go to target and its always been sold out and now I know why. It leaves a fantastic finish. Its fast and easy to blend away my foundation. I dont use this for powder but, I am sure it would also be great for it. I use it for all my liquid foundations. the only con is it sucks up a lot of foundation.
This is an effective brush but mine sheds like there's no tomorrow. It sheds like crazy when washed, and it loses multiple hairs each time I try to use it to apply liquid foundation. I think if used with powder products, it would still shed but not as much. Maybe it is just the particular brush I got, since so many reviewers say it doesn't shed. The one I got doesn't like to get wet, I'm afraid.
When I brought it home from the store and took it out of the packaging, I could see several hairs standing up higher than the others. These hairs came out with a light touch, and others joined them. It's been that way ever since. There's always a parade of hairs just waiting to come out.
That said, I did decide to grit my teeth and use it yesterday to apply Estee Lauder Double Wear Light. It gave it a pretty finish but probably on the less-heavy side compared to the application I get with this foundation and other flat-top brushes I have. I'd say it shed at least 10-20 hairs with that one application, but I decided to put up with it to see how the finish would be. I indicated that I would buy it again because at the price, it'd be worth it to buy another and see if the first one I got was just defective.
This was finally in stock at my local Target so I decided to buy it. I wanted to try it with my mineral makeup foundation. Unfortunately, it doesn't give me the coverage that I like compared to my HG Eco Tools Bronzing Brush, even though flat-top kabukis are supposed to provide more coverage. I bought it because this is larger than the Sonia Kashuk one and also cheaper. I was disappointed that it didn't apply my MMU the way I wanted it to, but It's nice for blush! The bristles are very soft, too! And you can't beat the price - only $3!
I just bought this! I could never find it at any of my local Target and it was always out of stock. I found it when I was on vacation and had to get it. On the plane ride back I decided to use it for my cream foundation and it was amazing. I also used it with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder right after and it applied that beautifully too. The brush was extremely soft, and while I have only used it once I love it already.
Best brush for powder foundation and blending out powder products on the face. It's dense and soft and the best part (drum roll) it's only three dollars! I've had to super glue the brush head back on but you can't expect perfection for three dollars. I have and will continue to repurchase this brush!
This is my HG powder brush. After looking high and low, my local Target started selling ELF products. I was so excited to try this out. I am glad I did. It does an incredible job picking up powder and it distributes it so well. It is soft and it is great quality for something that is only $3. I would definitely buy this again in a heartbeat!
Amazing quality brush for the price. Great for blending and perfect for mousse foundation. And it doesn't shed!
By far my favorite brush! This brush has so many purposes it's crazy! I used this for foundation and it gives such a flawless finish. Also love it for putting on blush, I think it's so great for blush!
I have bought 2 of these already! I use one for my liquid foundation it does a GREAT job of blending it. I use another for my face powder which leaves my face with that airbrushed look. It is only 3$ and one of the best quality brushes i have boughten!
