I personally loved this foundation! I have been on the same bottle for almost 2 months now, using only about a teaspoon each day, if even that. I have oily, extremely acne-prone skin. I'm also very pale, so the redness of my cheeks, the shadows under my eyes, and the acne scars are a bit...distracting. What I liked about this foundation was it wasn't too cakey or thick. I was able to distribute it evenly with a blush brush (A foundation brush made everything look a bit streaky). I was instantly amazed at how my face appeared refined, and even a bit airbrushed. I definitely rank this with some of the more expensive liquid foundations. I gave the packaging a rate of three only because after a few uses, the foundation would coat the lid, leaving it a bit messy.
2nd Update: Yeah, this stuff totally broke me out in huge cystic acne spots. had to stop using it and let my face heal for weeks before deciding that it just didn't work for me.
Update: I really like this foundation. Even though I have oily skin, in the winter it dries it out quite a bit so I can get away with using a more dewy foundation. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and I haven't had a single break out, nor have I gotten excessively oily. When I set it with Merle Norman Ultra powder foundation or MSFN, I can go all day without blotting.
I neither love nor hate this foundation. Even though I have oily/combo skin, I tried it out because I was simply curious. I've heard rave reviews on YT, but on here it seems the opposite.
The color I got was 125 Nude Beige which is a bit too dark for my NC20 skintone. It will probably work great for NC25.
The coverage is light/medium. Even though I'm oily, this foundation doesn't make me oilier. It's weird, but it actually gives me a truly 'dewey' look. I don't feel like I have to blot a lot when I wear it.
I like how easily it blends onto my skin, but unfortunately it doesn't last longer than 5 or 6 hours.
Bleh to this product. The only two things I like about it: The packaging and the color options. I found a shade perfect for my skin tone. The reason this gets only 2 stars is because the coverage is TERRIBLE. This foundation is not even a foundation, more like a tinted moisturizer that doesn't moisturize and leaves skin completely disrupted. My skin looks so bad after using this for a couple of weeks, and after reading other reviews on here I'm pretty positive this is the culprit for my red (almost cystic like) acne. It's hard to say if this product is 100% to blame as I've changed my skin care and makeup regime quite a bit lately but trust me...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. I'm going to not use this foundation for a week, see how my skin does, and then if my theory holds true immediately throw this in the trash.
THIS PRODUCT SUCKS!!!!
There is one Pro: it is easy to find your skin color.
- I have oily skin with some acne, and this product is terrible; it does not cover ANYTHING. I had high hopes, and with this being my first EVER makeup. Very disappointing.
- It is so heavy and oily. It feels terrible on the face and makes it super oily. I also started to break out very badly and now am paying the price for it. It is way to heavy and it is obvious when it is on.
Do not buy. I will never be buying again.
Okay so I bought this foundation after a couple years of higher end brands like Clinique and Clarins. My skin is generally balanced and for the most part spot free (except when I'm stressed or not drinking enough water). Anyway, the fit foundation literally gave me CYSTIC ACNE and I'm talking over five big red painful spots with no heads. I used this probably four times and I cannot believe what it has done to my skin. Disaster.
I have very dry, sensitive skin.
-Sheer coverage: doesn't cover acne scars
-Not particularly blend-able.
-Not designed for 2 coats: the overall look will be cakey.
-As the product is sheer coverage, doubling the product as concealer will provide extra coverage but barely.
-Dewy (/oily(?)-unnatural) finish: highly recommend setting with powder.
If you have DRY skin:
-this product will most likely strip your face of moisture. The dewy finish will NOT balance dry skin.
-Even if the product after the initial application looks goods, flaky skin will be noticeable.
-This product doesn't mix with moisturizer.
If you have a YELLOW UNDERTONE, then sample try 210 or 220 before looking at the other colours.
very easy to blend, medium coverage, and finishes with a dewy sort of look. I would deffinitly not reccomend this foundation for someone with oily skin.
I used this foundation for a good three months, then I found myself getting bored and wanting to try other foundations out. This foundation is very liquid-y and very light to medium coverage if you build it up a lot. If you have oily think then this product might not be for you as if it very sheer and tends to slide off over the day. I think I am going to try mixing this foundation with my Revlon Colorstay and see what happens!
I found a great color match in 115 for my fair winter skin. I love that it is thin and lets my real skin show through. I have redness that this seems to cover very well. The only down side is that I have oily skin and this doesnt last as long as I'd like. I'd say it looks good for 6 hours maybe 7. I will continue to use when I don't need to wear make
up all day when I do I will be reaching for MUFE F&B.
Had no problem finding a perfect match in this foundation. However, I would never repurchase this product. This gave me cystic breakouts around my nose, chin and jaw line like nothing I've ever used before. Painfully large zits that are taking forever to clear up.
I liked the finish and dewi-ness(?) this was providing for a wintertime foundation but I can totally attribute the breakouts from this product. I would advise to proceed with caution. I do not have acnegenic skin normally.
