I finally bought myself the famed E.L.F. Studio Powder brush at Target last week. I see why it has earned its glowing reputation--soft, dense, synthetic taklon bristles, no shedding, excellent with powders and creams, and $3. I find that price so hard to believe. It's just an insanely low price for the quality. WOW!
This Brush Is AH-MAZING! Although this brush is super inexpensive ($3), it is definitely one of the best quality brushes out there. It's super soft, does not shed, and the handle does not feel cheap at all. The brush over all looks and feels great so you should definitely get one. I own two of this brush already only because I use it everyday and I get lazy cleaning my brushes. I use it with my Mac Mineralize Powder and my Bare Escentuals Matte Foundation.
This brush is FABULOUS - works so well and the value is nothing short of amazing.
I read the reviews of this last week and got one at Target, not expecting too much. The bristles are soft, and even after washing and use, I've noticed minimal, if any, shedding. The brush applies powder, from bronzer to blush, evenly and it's easy to build color. I also like it to soften eyeshadow.
This is waaaaay better than the Sonia Kashuk brush I spent 17.99 on a few months ago.
I plan to purchase the entire line, as my Target sometimes discontinues things that I really like.
I've had this brush for a few months now, and so far I have no complaints. I bought it to use as a blush brush, as I already have a powder brush. Because my cheekbones are rather high and my face is kind of flat (if that makes any sense), I have to apply my blush outward and up toward the higher point of my ear. As such, I have a bit of ground to cover. This brush's flat surface allows me to cover a lot of area at once, which results in a more even application of color. I don't use it with my very pigmented or bright blushes, but for every day, neutral blushes, this one is great. The only blush brush I like better for every day blushes is the one from Mark, which is $7.00 and a bit smaller.
i really like this brush for how cheap and soft it is. i use this for my finishing powder everyday and i have no complaints for it at all. only downside is that it's not available in my country so i have to wait 3 weeks everytime i want to replace it.
I purchased a stipple brush at Target but it was too soft. I read the reviews on here so I decided to buy the E.L.F Powder Brush. I noticed that when using this brush I use less foundation and it places the foundation evenly all over my face. After the 1st use I was in love with it so much that I went out and purchased a 2nd one. There is no need for me to look for a foundation brush that is better than this one because this one is freaking great!!!!!
Love this brush! Just got two of them today at Target. They're super soft and work great. I use them for both foundation and powder and even blush sometimes. The only thing is I found that they're not all made alike. One of the ones I got is way more dense than the other. But hey for $3 how can I complain?
I finally found this brush at Target..I loove it. It is soft, dense. I have been using it to apply my powder and it packs on the color well. I haven't tried applying my liquid foundation with it because I am afraid that it may be hard to wash off. If I do try it I will update on here the results. I think I will buy this brush again and I do reccomend it.
I bought this brush because of the reviews on here. When I opened it I didn't know if I wanted to use it for foundation or powder. I decided to go with using it as a stippling brush and boy do I love the way it stamps on my foundation to my face. It looks way better (in my opinion) than the small stippling brush from Sonia Kashuk and way cheaper. It's only 3 bucks, give it a shot. Oh and something I should mention when I pulled it out of the packaging it shed a little. But thats not gonna stop me from buying more/using it. Yes I would buy this again and Yes I would recommend this to my friends, I already have.
I'm still on my first Studio Powder Brush and it has been two years, and I'm still using it! I use it for my loose face powder and the fine brush hairs picks up the powder and gives my face an even finish. I wash this brush every month with a gentle baby wash and it rarely sheds!
I've heard that some E.L.F products are badly packaged such that their brushes fall off or sheds easily but I guess I'm lucky. And one can always buy a few more of them because they're really affordable! I can no longer purchase E.L.F studio products from their website in my country but I'll surely get them when I visit the US again!
