i have used this product for 6 months, and there has been no significant changes to my skin. I am acne prone, w/uneven skin texture and discolorations, and I had hoped that this product would help my skin.
What I can say is that this has never been the cause of any of my breakouts or has it ever irritated my skin once. If it were cheap I would keep buying it just because it is a good moisturizer, but at 117 dollars a pop I just can't bare to spend that much for something w/o results.
This is an expensive purchase that I will definitely find the money for again. I have acne-prone, dehydrated skin and this moisturizer smooths texture, hydrates, and brightens, without cause one breakout. Women I know have been using this for years and look at least 10 years younger than they are. I think this is mainly a preventataive product. If you are looking to turn back the clock, try the C6 peptide. If that doesn't work, I have also heard raves about DDF Wrinkle Relax.
The product is rather thick when you squeeze it out of the tube, but does not feel heavy or greasy upon application. It sinks into the skin nicely and leaves the skin more matte than dewy looking. I would say it is most appropriate for normal skin in mild climates. I haven't had any problems w/ break-outs while using this product (nearly 6 months now). However, I haven't seen any improvement in my skin either. It is probably a good product, but nothing spectacular, and for most, probably too expensive for how well it performs. The packaging is simple and nice- much more sterile than a pot of cream. Fragrance-free.
Note: The Kinerase Lotion is awful! Feels like candle wax on the skin and the Lotion +SPF is even worse.

I've used this on and off for over 5 years. In that time, I've never noticed any skin changes. When I got a microdermabrasion treatment, the anesthesian would put this on me, and give me samples & she swore by this. Eventually, I bought a tube just because she talked so much about it. It's safe to use on treated skin after something like microdermabrasion, and it won't break you out, but it never made any changes for me. I never could figure out what all they hype was about. Would definitely not repurchase.

A few years ago my dermatologist recommended this for some light freckling. This was back when Kinerase was a doctor only product. It did make a noticeable difference in those places. It's a bit drying and I always needed a moisturizer when using it.
I liked this product and I'd buy it again. However, I think there may have been some better products developed since the time I used this. This is one product that I'd ask the dermatologist about before repurchase - at this price I want the BEST product. However, Kinerase is certainly a good product.
I'm not 100% sold on this product yet. I bought it because I'm a sucker for good face products and it had one of those "allure" stamps of approval on it. I will write another review in a month and let you know if my opinion has changed any. I bought this product about 3wks ago. I have very dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin. So, I need something that is not only rich for dry skin but I want something that renews my skin and gives me all the things the back of the bottle says it does. For some reason this cream didn't really help my dry skin. I still use it but I have to put another lotion on top of this one. And, for the cost you shoudln't have to double up with another lotion. I don't struggle with acne so I can't say how it would help with that. And, I haven't seen any overall results since I've started using it 3wks ago but maybe it just hasn't been long enough. I will let you know if I changed my mind after a couple months but as of right now I don't think that I would purchase this product again.
I am a bit torn on this product, but based on the price I would not purchase it again. I am just about done with the smaller sized tube. I will say that this did not break out my skin at all. So that is huge. However, my skin has been dry this winter and this did not do the trick. You would think that it would be really moisturizing but that was not the case for me. I would have to use something in addition to this.
I think there is better out there that cost much less.
It's early days for me to be reviewing this product so I intend to update in a couple of weeks. I bought Kinerase Cream because I have super sensitive skin. I am young and have no lines/wrinkles as yet so I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the cream as an anti-wrinkle product. So far, so good - this cream did not burn or irritate my skin when I initially put it on (a lot of moisturisers do this to me). It also seems to be sufficiently moisturising for my normal skin. However, I think people with uber dry skin might need something richer.I will continue using the cream for a couple of weeks and then give a more thorough review and rating. One positive thing I can comment on is that for UK buyers Kirenase is extremely reasonably priced. Suprisingly, it is more expensive in America. Nevertheless, it is not widely available in UK stores. The best place to buy it is on the web.UPDATE: My skin literally drinks Kirenase. Despite the fact that my skin is only a little dry, this doesn't moisturise it, I have to use an exta moisturiser. My sensitive skin has calmed down since using it but I think there must be better products out there for sensitive skin. What's the point in a moisturiser that doesn't moisturise? continued >>

Call me crazy, but time, and time again I fall for these advertising "promises" I was really excited to try Kinerase, thinking this would be "the one". The travel kit set me back $100.00 at Sephora. I used it faithfully for about two months, and didn't see any improvement at all. I'm 42, and am seeing some signs of age, which scares the c**p out of me. I am desperate, and would get some "work" done in a heartbeat, if I could afford to do so. In the meantime, I want to do whatever I canon my end to delay, or even reverse some of the damage I see. This did not do it.

I really wanted to love this, but it didn't work for me. My skin is very dry, especially in winter and has almost rosacea-like tendencies. I do think this cream helped some with evening the blotchiness of my cheeks, but it did absolutely NOTHING for dryness. Many days I had to use an additional moisturizer with it. For the price especially I felt it needed to do more. I am 32 and have very few lines/wrinkles and this did nothing to even smooth what little I do have. I had no problems putting my tinted moisturizer over it. I did notice it works slightly better right after exfoliation, but really not enough to be called a moisturizer. I wanted this to reform my skin for my upcoming wedding and after 2.5 months of continous use, I'm very disappointed. I'm planning to keep using it until the tube is gone, but to be on the safe side I'm also going to try some Roc products so I'll see some results before my big day.
