I have super sensitive, acne-prone skin. This cleanser is very 'meh', It didn't really do anything to help with my breakouts so I stopped using it. Then I ran out of tea tree oil that I mix with some baby shampoo to clean my makeup brushes. I decided to pull this out and use it to clean my brushes and it did a fabulous job! It got all the makeup out, plus it has tea tree so it also disinfects. Will probably only re-buy to use as a makeup brush cleaner.

I have highly reactive, sensitive, combination and acne-prone skin. Right now, I have a rather dry U-zone with a oily T-zone. I tried this cleaser twice when I received a sample with my TBS cranberry butter. (My BF says he wants to eat that butter everytime he smells it!! ;p) The first night I tried it, it cleansed my skin well, albeit leaving it a tad tight. However, when I tried it the second time, my face felt hot and tight at the same time. It was weird, as if I had a slight sunburn. I thought I was actually having a fever, so I didn't pay much attention to it, since I didn't think that my skin could be *that* allergic to anything. However, as the day went on, my skin still felt hot and it bothered me a lot. This afternoon when my mother came to see me, she said "Why is your face swollen?" and I realized it must have been an allergic reaction!! I don't think that it was the tea tree oil since I can use the oil itself on my skin without any problems, so it has to be the formulation of this cleanser. I do not recommend this to anybody, and I gladly trashed the sample packets in the bin.

This has a weird medicinal scent and can be somewhat drying, so I took off one lippie. Otherwise this is fantastic if you have oily skin or acne. If you have a Clarisonic, this will really do the job. It tightens the appearance of pores, which I like. Use a lightweight oil-free moisturizer and you should be good to go and on your way to clearer skin.

I've been using this product for about 3 years now as my daily face wash. I have oily/combination skin. I am 22 and for the most part my skin is fairly clear, except for the occasional pimple.

I feel this stuff really helps to keep my skin under control. I can tell you that it does get rid of all of the make up on my face once I double cleanse, which I normally do when I have makeup on to get rid of all of the dirt, grime, and makeup on my face. I find the best way to use it is to pour a small amount in your wet hands and rub it quickly until you have a good lather and then continue to lather on to your face. I love the cool, fresh feeling I get on my face afterwards. I know when I first started using it, I did not love the product but over time my skin has gotten used to it and the tea tree definitely helps to keep my skin under control.

I bought this cleanser 3 or 4 years ago and remembered not liking it because it didn't to much for my acne and left a weird film on my face. I found it sitting in my basement cabinet (still full) and brought it with me to college in hopes of finishing it. After sticking with this cleanser for a couple of weeks, I find that it keeps me from breaking out. I've been using it since the beginning of September and I have about an inch left. I have also been using it on my bacne, so that's probably why it's running out so quickly. I am aware that this cleanser is for acne-prone skin, and I usually associate acne-prone with oily, but I have rather dry skin and I don't find it drying if I put on moisturizer directly afterwards. Highly recommend and will definitely plan on repurchasing when it runs out :)

I bought the mini tea tree kit while in Japan this summer because it was soo humid and my skin started breaking out, I generally don't get breakouts but I heard that tea tree oil was good for oily and breakout prone skin so I thought I would give it a try, it didn't clear up my skin instantly but I did help keep pimples at bay. I used the gel and the toner with my mattifying seaweed moisturizer and it kept my skin pretty oil free for most of the day. It is a pretty aggressive facial wash though and the toner was also pretty bad, do not use if you have super sensitive or dry skin, it has sodium laureth sulfate as one of the top ingredients. I had to stop using this because the weather is now cooler and my face was started to get really dry. I would buy this again if they made the formula less harsh and without parabens.

Tried this after hearing good reviews a few years ago....it just caused my skin to become more dry till I was battling two problems: dry skin AND acne that didn't go away. Boots has got a better tea tree formulation that works for me. This just didn't cut it and I had to give it away. I don't recommend this particular formula.

Needless to say that i will never come near this product and so my search for the suitable face wash continues...

I really like this! I got this as a sample from Sephora. I got 4 uses out of it, and I've noticed such a big difference!
I have oily acne prone skin, and I tried to get rid of my acne with products that had a lot of salicyclic acid and benzoyl peroxide. When I didn't notice a big difference, I thought maybe I should try much natural gentle products.
I've noticed that tea tree oil and willow bark are amazing, and salicyclic acid is helpful, just not in really large doses. This also has aloe vera to help with redness and irritation. My acne is gone (including the zits that pop up during 'that time of month'!) My face is less oily and shiny too.
This smells amazing. It's really invigorating, so it's a great pick me up in the morning. Skip the latte (or don't, bc ;attes are the best;) bc you won't even need it. This sn't too strong smelling though, which is good.
It lasts forever and it's sooo cheap. I recommend buying this in the Body Shop tea tree kit. It comes with the full size cleanser, toner, lotion, and spot treatement, all for $29 at Sephora! Such a great deal.
