My holy grail moisturizer. I have oily skin, but still need something to balance out the moisture in it. This is light, but definitely seals in all of my skincare products and adds some moisture to the places I need it. I've had yet to find a cheaper moisturizer that lives up to this one.
If you have anything less than oily skin, however, do not buy this. Opt for another moisturizer, as this will not quench the extra dry patches on your skin! I've tried it on those flaky areas of my face during the winter and it really didn't do a thing for me.
I bought this product yesterday. I have oily, acne prone skin and needed a moisturizer that would prevent too much oil being produced. I used this product before I went to bed and when I woke up my skin was soft and not super oily as it usually is.
I also used the gel in the morning and noticed that it does decrease the amount of oil my face usually produces. However, i still find my face to be somewhat oily. I will continue using the product because so far it has worked better than most moisturizers I have purchased.
clog city, really not good for acne-prone skin due to the fact some of the ingredients are high on the comedogenic which include:Laureth-4(5 on scale) , Laureth-23 (4 on scale), Oleth-10 (2 on scale) these numbers are for how much they can affect and/or cause acne. 5 being the highest. you have been warned

I use it a daily basis. I use the 3-step products. Since my skin is combination to oily skin, these products have helped me control my skin and it feels smoother than before. It has been a year using this moisturizing gel and I would not change it for the world. My sister started using mine and loved it as well. Her face is much more oily than mine.
Since it is very light, I use it before applying ano other product. Its kind of like a primer for other face products.

Favourite moisturizer ever. I have combination acne prone skin. I use half a pump for my face and it does the trick. It goes on nicely and feels cool and fresh. It doesn't make me break out, works wonders on dry patches and within 5 minutes of applying, it totally absorbed and my face is smooth and awesome!! I bought the big size at the Clinique counter for 53$ but i have had it for almost a year now! Well worth the investment. Oh yeah and the pump is really nice as well :)
This product effectively moisterizes my face without ever breaking out my combination/oily skin. With that skin type and living in a humid climate, finding a daily moisterizer that doesn't cause breakouts took a while but I've stopped searching after using DDMG. I use it as both my daily moisterizer and night cream (at night I use it on top of a serum), and am happy with the the results. It's very gentle and the pump is hygenic. The only big downside is it doesn't have SPF.
I know Clinique has developed somewhat of a bad reputation for skin care over the years and this was an impulse purchase( in the travel size) a few weeks back. It has been many years since I used Clinique, but I’ve certainly tried a number of brands since (especially having worked in cosmetic dermatology and a cosmetic surgeon’s office). When I moved to a drier climate a year ago I started noticing that I could not get away without using a moisturizer anymore, mostly due to my RX acne topicals and less humidity. The dilemma I run into has been that as soon as I am able to moisturize the irritated dry skin, the acne comes right back and it turns into a never-ending cycle. Usually, I just choose the dried out flaky skin rather than risking more creams that cause more acne. Well, I’m very impressed with this product. I waited a few weeks to review it here, and I can now report I haven't had a clogged pore or a negative result (knock on wood!) I'm pleasantly surprised and returned to the store tonight to buy the larger pump size. This is perfect for those who are older yet acne prone, needing a fairly basic moisturizer that won’t cause further problems. It’s funny because my husband has even noticed that my skin is more even and les red. I would definitely recommend it. I’d like something with age fighting properties, but honestly I know there is only so much skin care can do for that and the more ingredients usually means more potential for problems. Anti-aging skin care can help the appearance of aging, but it is temporary. Nothing short of a surgeon’s knife or needle can really change things that much. I am happy I tried this.

I have combination skin that is more oily than not, and the parts that are dry are very dry, so I have had a hard time finding ONE moisturizer that will work all over my face. Previously I was using two, to cater to my extremely dry and extremely oily parts separately, until I saw this in a travel size at Ulta. I hate paying for a full size bottle of something and hating it, and then being out a lot of money on stuff that I didn't like or didn't work, but this stuff is fantastic!! My skin doesn't get shiny throughout the day, My breakouts have become almost non existent (at least for the better part of the month) and the dry parts don't get flaky. I can't recommend this enough.
This is a great moisturizer for oily skin! Ever since I started using this I can go all day without getting shiny. I wish it was a bit more moisturzing but it still does the trick.

I bought a 200 mL bottle of this in February. I use it both day and night and this is the only moisturizer I've been using since I bought it. I just hit the bottom of it this week (8 months later...) and I must say that it has really done a great job! I have combination skin, but it used to be on the much oilier side when I first bought this. Now my skin is much more balanced than it used to be, and does not produce nearly as much oil as it did before I started using this cream. I like the thin consistency and the fact that it has no scent to it. Also I quite like the packaging; it's really easy to dose the product because of the pump. The reason why I don't rate it 5 lip pies is because I sometimes have to use three pumps to moisturize my skin completely. This is and "issue" that has started to occur the past month, though. I see it as a symbol of needing to switch to another moisturizer, since this one has done it's job and brought my skin back to normal (less oily). I actually think it's quite reasonably priced for such a large bottle. I remember paying around 40 dollars for this one. It's actually the size of a standard body lotion or shampoo, which I think is nice. This is definitely a moisturizer I'll come back to if i notice my skin is getting more oily. Didn't break me out, irritate me or made me greasy. Overall a great, basic moisturizer for those with combination-oily skin!
