The only reason I would not repurchase this for myself is because it is not meant for my hair type. I LOVE this stuff, and I would definitely purchase it for anyone with thick, coarse, or unruly hair. I love the texture of this, so glossy, it adds an enormous amount of shine, and smells light and heavenly! But, alas, I am going to have to stick to eating my olive oil, since this is too rich for my short fine hair.
i got this today and this is what i think of it
backround....
i have NEVER been amazed from a hair product
im more of a skin care high end junkie (la prairie,la mer, sisley, chanel) then a hair product junkie, its just that i'v tried alot of high end hair products ( Kérastase, paul mitchell, alterna) and they never WOWED me
so i just use my regular john frieda (witch i love) and redken products
but still im not that amazed from them but im happy with it
now i live in israel and here we make the "moroccan oil" products witch the whole world raves about
but still sorry i dont think its that amazing product
so anyway back to this product
it is the MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER TRIED!!!
it makes my hair SUUUUUPER SHINY and SOFT like i can't belive!!!
it is my HG hair shine cream
i just use 2 "pea" size amounts for my sholder lenght hair
i use it on dry hair every morning before i go out
i would discribe it as this....
you know when you come from the beach and your hair just looks amazing? or when you go to the salon for a blow out and the hair looks alot better the next day when the natural oils come out?
then thats what this does it just gives (like its name) a super gloss effect and super shiness and softness thats second to none
now after that i raved about this cream ill also fact what its not....
its not for ppl who want a mosturizing cream (be cause its not)
and it is some what oily (but just a bit) so that could be a problem for ppl who have a problum with that
very very RECOMED THIS!!!
sarai from israel :-)
UPDATE:
*TIP.....if you are like me (wavy hair) what i found is this...
if you go with your natural hair style then put it on when the hair is damp (about 30 min after washing your hair)
if your straightning your hair DONT PUT IT ON AFTER YOU DID
put it on before straightning (on damp hair) and then work with an iron or blow drier.
that way it wont look oily and still have that amazing shine

LOVE this product! I mostly use it on my remy human clip in hair extensions, as they can get a little dry and tangly at times. I thought my extensions were on the road to becoming ruined, until I bought this product. I can now run my fingers through the hair with ease, whereas I had to comb out the hair before in order to do that. It keeps them from tangling, smooths them down, and makes them feel more moisturized! Will DEFINITELY buy again (despite the crazy pricetag).
Love this product! Although pricey (I have the smaller tube and it was $22 CAD without tax), I think it's worth it. A little goes a long way. This stuff tames any frizzies of flyways... And adds some serious shine! I use this 3-4 times a week and my hair looks really good, not gonna lie ;) haha. I've heard that if you use too much, it can make your hair oily, though that's never happened to me. I have pretty long hair down past my bra strap, and A LOTTA hair, and I use a little less than a dime size from mid-shaft down to my ends and it works really well for me. I like to use if when my hair is almost dry. Love it!
I'm Japanese-- I have a fair amount of hair that is thick and can feel coarse sometimes. It's is also slightly wavy all over and tends to have a lot of volume--sometimes too much for my taste. It's growing out right now and I'm avoiding heat styling so my natural waves come out and give me mushroom head (partially because of the current length and cut, I'm really trying to hold out on cutting my hair) when I air dry. I have both natural and chemically processed hair on my head. Part of my head was bleached white blonde and colored with a semipermanent bright color, which I then dyed over with a home permanent color. The parts that were chemically treated are helped quite a bit with this lightweight lotion-- looks shinier, stays calm instead of puffing. I like using it both on damp and dry hair in these areas. I smooth a dab between my hands, slick it over my damaged parts and comb it thru with my fingers. When I flat iron my hair, I take a dab of this lotion and work some into it afterwards to give it an extra shine, especially in the front. I like that this isn't too heavy or sticky while having enough weight to take the puffiness out, and it doesn't make ur hair dull even without washing a few days because it doesn't attract dirt and dust. It's winter and I really can't shower frequently cause it dries me out. I'm going to continue using this product for winter till it's done but for me, right now, I'm not going to purchase again cause of the price.

I have bought this 3 times. I remember using my sample a couple years ago and could not wait to go buy it! My hair looked soooo smooth and shiney and not greasy! I always use this on my ends and it just makes my hair look so much healthier!
I have long fine dry hair, but lots of it. I tend to put my hair through the paces....blow drying, flat ironing, once a month coloring. I am a Kerastase devotee, my hair does not burn out as quickly using their shampoos and conditioners as it has with cheaper lines. But it does still burn out over time and I still do have to switch out occasionally.
Well today was no exception. My hair was starting to feel a little dry from the Kerastase Bain Miroir 2 shampoo, so I decided to use my Bain Satin 2 for a change. As soon as I shampooed my hair, I could tell that this was not a good switch, my hair felt coarse tangled and damaged. So, I re washed my hair using Purerology(my when all else fails fall back) and dumped on loads of the matching conditioner. But it was too late, damage done, my hair still felt rough and my ends felt like straw. This was going to be a bad bad hair day.
As I went to go blow dry my hair, I noticed a sample packet of the Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream on my counter. I had received this from Target in the mail a few weeks ago and always meant to try it, was hesitant to do it because what I had been using worked for me (Keratase Oleo Relax serum). But today I figured that there was no hope for my hair anyway, I'll just try this stuff.
I applied a very small amount (half a pea size) to the palm of my hand, rubbed it in both hands, then applied it to my wet hair mid length to ends, focusing on the ends. I could immediately tell that this product was actually providing moisture to my hair. Encouraged, I proceeded to blow dry my hair. OMG, when I was done, my hair felt wonderful- silky, airy, bouncy! It only got better after I flat ironed my hair too. My hair was now healthy feeling and looking, so shiny, yet had volume and sleekness at the same time. Amazing! I ended up having a perfect hair day, and I could not stop touching my hair.
I resisted rushing out and buying a tube b/c of the teeny amount I used, I figured that this sample packet will last enough for me to tell if this experience was a one off , or if this will be a keeper. I only gave it 4 lippies, because I do want to see if this product will keep working for me and will update after a few more uses.

A few months ago I purchased a Fekkai kit that included shampoo, conditioner, and this glossing cream.
I save it for special occasions, though the kit was only around $25, the products sold seperately are around $22 each.
I am very impressed with this product. A very small dot of cream through my strands transforms my hair from dull and frizzy to shiny and put together. Its not too greasy or oily and dries very quickly.
This cream is more suited for straight or wavy hair, or damp curly hair. It can also calm flyaways and add shine to relaxed hair.
The only thing "wrong" with this product is its price tag. I have the two ounce size that is included in the limited edition kit, the $22 one is obviously much bigger, but its still considered a splurge.
I would definitely buy this product again.

I have been using this for 5 years and I have to say there is nothing quite that compares to this. I have tried others and its not the same this is truly my HG leaves my hair vibrant smooth and healthy and it makes it easier to brush when your hair is wet. Love this stuff!

I have very fine hair that is easily, very easily, prone to becoming greasy. I need to wash my hair every other day. This product adds beautiful shine and smooths down frizz. I have to use the teeny tiniest amount or I will otherwise have an oil slick situation. It smells great as most of Frederic's products do. If I use this product, I need to wash my hair the same day. But it does make my hair look super sleek after flat ironing.
