I love this scrub I use it about twice a week. The only reason why I like this product is because on the side of my nose gets really dry and has white heads so therefore I scrub around that area a lot and it usually take care of that. I don't use this product everyday because it starts to hurt.
My all time favorite st Ives scrub is the warming scrub it's the most gentle and does the work but I cannot find it anywhere
Best scrub ever. I've ben using this since 14 years old! I'm not 20 and still using this scrub. Though my stages or crazy hormonal adolescence, the formula with salicylic acid has been great. I've used the WHOLE scrub range.
There are:
- Original: just the apricot scrub with no salicylic acid
- Apricot for Blemishes: contains salicylic acid
- Renew: this formula is creamy and it has less beads than the other 2 mentioned above.
I found it great for when my eczema was flaring up and I didn't want much exfoliation.
My mum loved this one when she was going through menopause because she found her skin to be a little drier than normal.
- Apricot Scrub sensitive: I discovered this in 2012. Randomly found it on the shelves at Priceline (AUS) and OH MY!!!!!!!!!!. For those complaining that the Original is too harsh for them (I don't find this to be the case) THIS IS AMAZNG. The particles are much, much finer! I work this into my damp face and it takes everything off! Dirt, grime, everything. This is the scrub I use before those foundations that tend to cling on dry areas.
I've also tried the Green Tea one, wasn't too fond of that one. It made my skin feel a little tight. I gave it to my 13 year old brother at the time who was had really bad acne (haha puberty) and his skin loved it. It really cleared up. The particles in this one is finer than the sensitive one. The formulation is not the same however.
I buy this for $9.99 at Priceline but usually want until it's on sale for $7-8 and buy 5-6 bottles. It usually lasts my family of 5, 3-4 months!
Oh and I use this EVERDAY. Works best in the shower!!. Usually at night before I slap on facecreams and serums, I give my face a good scrub. For days when I'm lazy and don't feel like scrubbing (LOL), I stick to QV daily cleanser.
I'm in love. While some people have said that this is a bit harsh, yea there are some slightly big chunks in it. But I wouldn't suggest using this more then once or twice a week and don't get over zealous with the scrubbing. My skin always looks best after I've used this, it glows and is baby soft.

I really like this exfoliator. I have the type that has salicylic acid as an active ingredient for ance-fighting. I use this probably once a week, and it really sloughs the dead skin off. I have read many reviews saying that it's very bad and too harsh for the gentle skin on the face. The exfoliating chunks are quite big, and it may be dangerous for the skin if used too often. Therefore, I would not recommend using this product more than twice a week. It is definitely something I always have on hand, and it does a wonderful job with preventing blackheads.

Retin-A has made my skin very dry so I have been looking for a product to exfoliate it. I started using this with my Olay cleansing brush and am very happy with the results. . I use it every other day and I have already seen a difference in my skin. It has polished away all of the dryness and made my skin glow. Overall my skin looks much better and much more youthful.
I use it every other day along with my regular skincare regimen, have for years. I have combo skin and it helps to exfoliate and keep it really clean along with minimizing the appearance of pores. Also, I have sensitive skin and this doesn't make my skin red or overly-sensitive, so I'm not sure why it doesn't work for others.
Will continue to use it.
This product is great but doesn't work for everyone. For some skin types it is too abrasive but for my combo to oily skin, it works great. I use it a few times a week in the shower as an exfoliant. It is great for the face but I also use it on areas of my body as well as my feet to make them soft and really nice! Plus, for the price you really can't go wrong to just try it out!
I have personally never used this product, simply because I know it is too harsh and rough to wear on the skin. You can feel the harshness of the exfoliating beads simply by putting it on your skin.
DO NOT apply this to the face, especially not on any active breakouts. You will damage the skin and cause scarring.
The medical and dermatological concept for treating acne is effective but gentle. Sadly, this scrub does not meet any criteria as an exfoliator.
