Even though I'm pale & warm toned, Strawberry Shortcake is still my go-to Barbie pink color. I'm not much of a lipstick fanatic but Revlon Lip Butters have great moisturizing properties & never make me look overdone no matter how bright the color. continued >>

I have purchase a ton of the Revlon lip butters after hearing so much reviews on youtube and makeup blogs. For this colour, it looks so nice in the tube but when I applied it, it looks so bad for my skin tone. It appears as a pink with cooler undertones on my pigmented lips. It just looks very unflattering on me and I won't be purchasing this colour.

Cool tone, light pink colour. It's hard to get an even coat on your lips. The colour was just not flattering at all. I just don't reach for it too often. I wouldn't buy again...

This reminds me of Diors lipsticks, they glide on your lips. The glossy sheen is good by itself no need for lipgloss. Not moisturizing and doesn't last. Who cares? I don't mind reapplying. The color range is awesome. It is buildable so if you want it more opaque, you can apply more product. I think these are my new Dior lipstick replacements. Instead if a tube for 25-30 dollars I can buy six of these.

Finally, a pink color that I can wear! This isn't frosty at all. Hydrating and glossy like the other lip butters.

I love the colour of this lipstick, it is absolutely gorgeous and I like the fact that there is no shimmers in this lip butter. The only thing that disappointed me about this product is that it is not moisturizing at all. I was really hoping it would be since I have dry lips (sadly) but I will have to make do.

Flimsy packagaing, expensive (SGD $15.90), little product. Wanted to love it but find that its not worth the cost. Felt disappointed when i realised how fast the product goes off. Its moisturising yet stick. I do love the colour pay off yet I dont think its worth the money.

Well like every other make up lover in the UK i couldn't wait for the lip butters to hit our stores. I was sure that i would love them and would want to buy one in every colour. Hmm not so sure now. I finally clapped eyes on them in my local Boots and as soon as i saw them i was rather underwhelmed. It took me ages to find a colour to buy as they just didn't look very exciting imo. I really wanted lollipop but alas they didn't have any so i chose 080 strawberry shortcake. In the tube it looks like a really pretty pink. It smells nice with a slight hint off the vanilla scent off MAC lipsticks, which i love by the way. Upon application i find that it goes on like a lipstick with a lot off sheen to it. It is fairly pigmented which was not a surprise to me as i had read lots off reviews saying that they were not at all sheer. On the lips the colour is pretty but i find that it seems a little patchy, especially if i try to build up the colour. Personally after all the hype i am very underwhelmed by these. Below i have listed my reasons for this:

1- The price, at £7.99 for one (although they are on offer at the moment) i feel is a little steep.

2-Lasting power. They look like a lipstick and feel like a lipstick but don't have the lasting power off a lipstick. Think off a tinted lipbalms lasting power and your there.

3-The colour selection. Now i don't know if i have seen all the ones on offer in the UK but the ones i did see just didn't excite me. Except for lollipop which i do want to try.

4-Application. Whilst these feel nice enough they don't apply fantstic as imo i found that it did apply patchy.

5-Life. After using mine about 5 times you can see that a lot off product has been used. Whilst this may just be myself as i like trying to build up the colour, i would imagine as in point 2, the fact the lasting power is rubbish and you will need to reapply lots will mean this won't last you long.

All in all i have only tried this colour but i cannot see myself buying anymore except for lollipop, and i will not be repurchasing strawberry shortcake. Revlon is one off my fave drugstore brands so i really was expecting more as i love their matte and colourburst lipsticks. If all you want is something to just put a quick swipe off on when your're on the go then maybe this will work for you but i would rather soend my money on buying an actual lipstick.;))

I love the glossy finish of these and this color! It's a perfect baby pink. It doesn't dry out your lips. I like using NYX's Mega Shine Gloss in Smokey Look over this because the color is really cool toned and I have very warm skin. I don't wear it alone but with the right gloss this is amazing!

I am absolutely in love with the color! It is the most perfect baby pink. It has just the right about of sheen and doesn't make you lips look frosty. I would most definately buy this again and will when I run out, which will be very soon :)
