it's very pigmented so it's super black, and it is very creamy! it literally 'glides on'!
i love how it stays on for a long time, but the only problem that it smudges on me throughout the day, and it is very hard to take off even with eye makeup remover!!

Zero had been my go-to black liner ever since I started using high-end products so when Perversion came out I was so excited to try it, especially since there was so much hype and I already loved the original liquid version of it.
I do really like it, almost love it. It's the blackest black I've ever seen and looks amazing on.
It does smudge and transfer a little, especially if I've had it on for a long time but what bothers me most is how soft the pencil is. I literally have to sharpen it after every single use and that's just too much of a waste.
I won't be repurchasing.

This stuff is so black and wears like iron, exactly as advertised. I use it to tightline my upper waterline, and it makes my eyelashes look SO FULL. LOVE this stuff.
This eyeliner NEVER comes off of me. Even after I wash my face. I guess that would be my only complaint is that it is really hard to take off. But, I don't really count that against UD because they advertise 24/7, lol. This color is very very black and the actual product is very soft. I find myself sharpening it a lot. I think the packaging would be better in a twist up rather than pencil form. The softness is nice in retrospect because I can transfer it to a liner brush easily and smudge it without much effort. I love this liner but it is pricey. I find the NYX slide on eye liners to be a close enough dupe. (but they do not stay on like the 24/7 UD does.)
I see that a lot of people seem to be having problems with staying power, but I honestly don't! I don't use it on my waterline, however, only on my top lid.
One warning I have to give: this liner is BLACK! Use a very light hand when applying. You can always go back over it for darker color, but once you put too much on, it's too late. Because I have bad eyesight, I have to use a magnified mirror when applying make up on one of my eyes. If I didn't have the mirror, I would probably mess up a lot more with this! It's very smooth and very creamy. It just glides on. I love to use on top and just wing it out. It's also great for a really sexy cat eye.
My only complaint is that I feel like I have to sharpen it a lot because I need to keep the point sharp in order to achieve the looks I like. So it's starting to wear down pretty quickly. As much as I love this one, I may try UD's other matte black before repurchasing this one. The price just kills me!

I like this, but it does smudge after a while. On the top lid it stays ok. It does glide on nicely and dries quickly. If you want something that has awesome staying power, get Stila Stay All Day liquid eyeliner. It is awesome and lasts through working out, water and sweating in the sun!

I'm a sucker for matte eye products so when I heard UD came out with a black matte pencil I had to try it. It really is one of the blackest black eye pencils I have ever tried. That being said, it reminds me of MAC feline eye kohl. It's a soft pencil and when applied it's a deep black but it smudges. When I apply it on my top water line it ends up all over my under eye area in a matter of hours. Even when I set it with powder. I'll use it on my top eyelid but that's about it.
I wanted to love Perversion, really. It swatched beautifully and it is truly the blackest carbon black I've ever used. It goes on smoothly, very creamy, and works well as in tightlining.
HOWEVER, as a contact user, it definitely doesn't work. And I definitely cannot use it to tightline. It slid off and pooled into my eyes within half an hour, blurred my vision and deposited on my lower lashline and around. Hard to fix because it is so pigmented (which would have been amazing had it not been such a pain to fix).
All in all, a beautiful black if it works for you, but if you're a contact lens wearer or have oily lids, then you should stay away.
Since it's so soft, it needs to be sharpened quite quickly or it loses its tip, which means that product is wasted more quickly during sharpening. I use the UD sharpener.
Perversion is the best, I will probably never go back to anything else. I tried Urban Decay Zero and thought it was just good, but that there were cheaper options. After trying this one though, it is the blackest black I have ever seen which is great for me. Looks bold & does. not. move after applied. If you plan to get this though, you need a good makeup remover or you will have to go at it a few times to get it totally off. continued >>
Everyone raves about this liner and now that I've tried it I understand the hype behind it. I was never a fan of UD Zero so when I heard there was a new black liner they were releasing I was pretty excited. This liner is definitely the darkest, inkiest black pencil liner I have ever tried. The wear is pretty awesome, it doesn't fade easily at all. I think all the hype is well deserved. I do think there are liners at drugstore level at the same quality, so I would not repurchase.
