This is my favorite mascara right now :D It gives me a great amount of natural definition and separation. It also gave me way more length than my Covergirl Lashblast length ever did which was a really nice surprise. I usually only use mascaras with the rubber brush, which is one of the reason why I love this mascara so much!! I have it a 4 out of a 5 because it isn't that great at holding a curl...It tends to droop..which is okay because I tend to touch my lashes alot during the day and push them up more. I might try the waterproof version soon since I've read that it is just like this one but it actually holds a curl :D But I'm a little bit hesitant since I've never actually used a waterproof mascara before...I'm alittle scared that it'll be hard to get off. But the non waterproof version is great :D Which is surprising since I have never liked maybelline mascaras. So if you are looking for some definition with a boost of length, this is a good product for you. The amount of volume it gives is pretty average, though, and it is more of a natural-looking mascara. :)

This mascara is just ok. I've noticed it flakes after a few hours. I'm not a fan of the flexible brush--I can't get my lower lashes. I'll stick to Maybelline Full N Soft.

This is a great waterproof mascara. It will not budge or come off without makeup remover. The wand is fabulous and grabs all my lashes so they do not clump together. great for both top and bottom lashes. These mascaras do a great job giving my lashes volume.

I've been looking for a mascara that would give me length and definition. Because I have thin short lashes, it is difficult to give me a lot of volume (which tbh it's not my priority).

So far (after my first application), I like this mascara. It grabs to every lashes and lengthens them although that wasn't their main focus. It gives me a natural look after one coat.

I took out my star because it's harder to take off with just cleanser. I like it when you can wash your face and take off your mascara at the same time. This mascara needed a makeup remover to remove the black leftover.

Well for an hour I thought I had found THE mascara for myself. Wrong, By an hour the mascara had flaked off my lashes and wound up on my face.

First thing I must Tell you all is the scent this mascara has. It delivers a big punch of roses. It may as well substitute as a perfume, very strong.

In the beginning this mascara was beyond anything I could have asked for. It added volume, loads of length. Then.. it was gone -_-

The color's are very rich and true to there name. The product is not wet nor dry, its the perfect in-between. With that being said the amount of product that comes off on the brush can be directly applied to your lashes without having to blot the extra amount onto a paper towel. It never delivers to much nor two little. Another aspect from what I am looking for, convience!

The packaging has a color blocking theme going on with there Bright coral tube and teal engraving. The brush is a plastic bristled mascara with evenly spaced (but close together) bristles. No clumping involved with the mascara.

I will be purchasing this mascara in a waterproof version in hopes to finally end my mascara search. Fingers crossed,

I've seen lots of great reviews on this product, but it just didn't work for me at all. I have very thick and long eyelashes, and because of that, I have a problem with mascaras clumping. I wanted a mascara that could really separate my eyelashes and this looked like it would really work. Not so much. With one coat, it kind of separated them, but as soon as I put on a second coat, my eyelashes clumped together. I tried it for a few weeks, hoping I could get the application down and make it work on my eyelashes, but I just couldn't. I think this would be good for people with thin, short lashes, but if you have long, thick lashes like me, I wouldn't recommend it.

I cant believe this product has received such poor ratings. I love this stuff. I only wear mascaras that are very black as im dark skinned afro Caribbean and need my lashes to show up as much as they can. The very black version/ shade of this mascara make my lashes look shiny, long, separated and fuller.
Would repurchase again and again!

Meh, definitely not the best but not the worst either. Clumped a bit, and couldn't really find a good technique to applying. It's an average mascara for me. I have my They're Real still with me, so I think I'll be returning this.

I would probably give this mascara a 4.5 out of 5, I love it!!!

I hadn't grabbed one when they were first out because I was happy with my Maybelline falsies. But, when my falsies mascara ran out, I couldn't resist.

I was very impressed with this mascara. I have found my new HG mascara yaay :)

First of all, I quite like the packaging, it's bright and compelling.
It gives loads of length, and it really does separate my lashes. I really like the brush too.

The only drawback was that I have fine lashes, and when you have fine lashes, wet formulas tend to make your lashes droopy and stick together so for the first little while, the formula was a bit too wet for me, and I had to really comb through my lashes with the brush to get my lashes separated and clump-free. But, after a while, it get better, trust me.

It cost just over 10 bucks at Shopper's drug mart. I looove this mascara, and will definately repurchase :)

I've tried other Maybelline mascaras before and loved some (Lash Stiletto) and hated some (Great Lash). One by One was a disappointment.

It is very easy for me to get that "Tammy Faye Baker/spider lashes" look with this. Even when I only apply one coat with a relatively new tube (open 2 weeks), I end up with clumpy lashes. What's more irritating is that after a few hours, I notice a few mascara flakes around my eyes.

Does One by One make my lashes look darker and thicker? Yes. Are there many other mascaras out there that do the same thing without the clumping and flaking? Absolutely. It's back to Lash Stiletto for me.
