Review for Falsies Waterproof mascara (purple tube) in Black Drama
I've tried a bunch of ds mascaras (Covergirls, a lot of Maybellines, Jordana...) and this is my favorite so far. It really gives me a 'falsies' look, which for me means my lashes actually show up, lol! I have typical straight Asian lashes that point straight down thanks to my monolid, so holding a curl is the most important factor in a mascara for me. And this mascara does it, it holds (and even enhances) my curl for the entire day (literally! I've had it on for up to 20 hours straight & it was 95% as good as when I first put it on) Really helps my thin lashes defy the heavy oppressive flesh of my monolid and curl straight up skyward. Volume & lengthening wise it could use some work, a few swipes won't do, you have to carefully layer & separate the lashes as you go if you want any kind of volume / length, but the awesome curl holding powers make it worth the extra work for me.
Curl: 5/5
Length: 2/5 (can lengthen more but requires careful work)
Volume: 2/5

PS Yes this is totally waterproof, lasted through workout AND shower and looked almost the same as before, no smudgy racoon eyes. Which is awesome, but of course on he other hand it's annoying to remove! continued >>

Just wanted to try out of curiousity, seeing alot of local makeup guru using them. It worked fairly on me. Smudged a bit to my undereyes. Didn't lengthen that much. Worth trying a tube, not more :)

Doesn't really add volume, and I don't feel like it made my lashes seem much longer. Not a terrible mascara, it didn't clump up like some others I have used. Overall I feel like it only slightly enhanced my lashes rather than give them the "false lash" look, also it seems like the product dried up in the too far too soon.

To be honest this is a good mascara. But what ive noticed but it didnt happen alot was there was a mascara line where the tips of my eyelashes touched my skin.. it was not cute at all.. but aside from that the whole falsies look... no.. there was none. Yes it did gve some volume and length but it seemed to clump together some of my eyelashes to give a darker look it was alright just didnt seem to seperate them which i really wanted. You cant really layer this mascara you have to do a quick one layer kind of deal. I have high expectations on my mascaras. But other than that its really pretty on the eyes. Oh and it does hold a curl somewhat well. I feel about halfway through my day (4 ish hours) it doesnt seem to have any curl left

My Holy Grail of mascaras, I cannot recommend this enough! The brush is spoon shaped which can take some getting used to but once you get the hang of it and learn how to apply clump free it is the best for achieving a dramatic look.
It lengthens my lashes so much they nearly touch my glasses with each blink, they are plump, don't feel dry or flaky, and just look gorgeous.
Only cons for me are I have sensitive eyes so I need to put in soothing eyedrops before applying this mascara as it tends to irritate them. It is pricey in NZ however I believe it is worth every cent.

(More 4.5 then a 4) This is the first masacara that has actually stayed on my lashes all day without coming off even a little bit. I've re-purchased it several times already. It makes gives my lashes volume and stays on forever. It really does make my lashes look close to false lashes. However, I don't give this a 5 only because of a few fixable, but quite annoying factors. If you don't apply it right, it can appear chunky and just not attractive, so you have to really get the hang of using the brush and formula properly, at least I do. It also can make your lashes real long, but no volume at all if you don't apply it right, which can sometimes be a pain. Also, I noticed when I (but it's probably just due to my eyeshape) apply eye liner, you can hardly notice that I have long lashes with the masacara unless you get up real close and personal, maybe not even. I have stopped using liner though for a while now for a change though, and you can definitely see a dramatic difference with your lashes if it's just the masacara that you put on your eyes. So I just have to be careful otherwise I can make my lashes look really bad and uncomfortable as well. Overal though I really love this mascara, and it's really hard for me to find a good masacra that suits my needs, so this one definitely is real close to perfect. I wouldn't mind the price going down a little bit, however on a good day you can usually find a good sale price with Maybellines masacara's, so it works out in the end anyway.

Bought this product along with the Volum' Express Colossal mascara.
Of the two, I prefer the Colossal more, but would choose CoverGirl's LashBlast over both these products any day.
For starters, the container feels cheap and almost childish, and the brushes aren't the best. It's really hard to build up the product for longer lashes, especially with my Asian eyelashes.
I will probably only use these mascaras if I run out my other, better, mascara.
Overall, I would not purchase neither of these again.

My favorite mascara!! It makes you eyelashes fuller and longer looking, it's great :D :D :D And it most definatley is water proof. I wore it to a waterpark and it didn't run or smear. I love it and I will buy it again!

It definitely lengthens and applies volume to my Asian lashes, but the waterproof consistency literally fails. If water or sweat comes to contact with your lashes after applying the product, it will smudge. Once you open the product, you'll notice a lot of the product is on the wand. So you have to take a napkin and just swipe the excess off so when you apply for the first time, you won't have flakes.

I love that it does make me look like I'm wearing falsies without wearing the fake lashes, but I give it a thumbs down for its waterproof formula. I would most likely buy the regular formula when I run out.
