Yes, the colors are nice. Yes, it goes on smoothly. However, by the time I have put my mascara on, it is already fading on my waterline. My cheapie Jordana liner is still much better for longevity. I guess it is ok for the lid. Still looking for my HG waterliner!!!
Excellent long-lasting product on lids, doesn't last on waterline for me (nothing does). Colours much more vibrant than other brands - comparable to MAC pearlglide. Can also use as eyeshadow when on the go
The pigmentation is nice. Not as dark as other liners out there. biggest CON for me is the smudges, smudges, and smudges. If I open my eyes the liner transfers to my top lid. I would not repurchase at all. Glides on easily and smoothly would be the only PRO thing about this. I'd rather use Milani (drugstore) eyeliners...staying power is amazing for a drugstore prod.
Honestly, I am not very happy with these liners. I have Ransom, Flipside, Bourbon, Zero, and Whiskey, all from various sources. I do like the colors other than Bourbon. The pigmentation is pretty good, they are creamy, and don't wear off easily (but they do wear off). I find them difficult to apply evenly and get a consistent line. (Make up artist btw, I know what I'm doing). The tip of the pencil smooshes so easily and sharpening is a must every time. I feel there's a lot of product wasted to get a decent point and the pencil goes very quickly. There's not much use for the price. I use a couple of other brands that are much better quality and have lots of colors. They're inexpensive too. So I'll stick with those.
HG HG the BEST eyeliner ever, for sure & hands down. Albeit I only used Revlon and other drug store ones, I need not look any further because this is freaking perfect. Creamy, no smudging or flaking, affordable (for all its perfection), opaque pigment, doesn't burn my eyes... I could go on. In short, if you want an eyeliner, you've GOT to get this! :)
PS - I just wish they came out with an automatic pencil, instead of the annoying sharpening ones. continued >>
This review is for the Zero/Whiskey liner combo found in the Naked palette, as this is the first experience I have had with UD liners. My mother swears by them and owns nearly every shade, so I don't know why I haven't tried them before now. The price is a little steep for me, but these are quality liners. I love both shades and how smoothly they go on. They don't smudge, but I have noticed that Zero does fade a tiny bit after 6+ hours of wear. I do plan to repurchase these eyeliners.
I have to agree with Shearz below, these are sooo heavenly smooth. The best liners I've ever tried!!! But a bit pricey...
SMOOTH AS SILK!!!
I had been searching for a really good eyeliner (in black) for a while, then I discovered the Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner pencil. Their black is called zero. Well I must say.... I was pleased with my purchase. It goes on very very smooth and it doesn't skip, you get a clear concise line the first time. I love the texture and its deep dark color, Its staying power is awesome too, it last allllllll day and night without fading. The downside to this product for me is..... each time you use it, you must sharpen it again and again because the point looses its sharpness. Therefore it doesn't last very long because your always sharpening it. It's a little softer in texture than most liners that I've tried I guess this is why the point dulls so quickly. Love the product I just wish I did't have to sharpen it so often. I need a liner that has a little longer life span.

I'm not sure if I'd buy this again. I have this in 1999, I believe, a purple-y color, and it has it's pros and cons.
Pros: Yeah, it's smooth, but other liners are too
Colors are pretty unique, the one I got comes with a nice amount of shimmer but not too much
Cons: The shimmer doesn't stay all day. It smudges just a little.
I think if you're looking for something shimmery the Elf shimmering eyeliner doesn't budge and is $1- if you can find a color you want. (For a brown one I love the Almay retractable one in Topaz- I've used it for years!)
Sephora Nano liners are great, and they're just $5. They don't smudge!
For the price I think these are just so-so....
