Skin Type – Combination, Extremely Sensitive
Coloration – Cool toned and very fair

I really wanted to like this moisturizer. The texture feels amazing; it's a cross between a gel and a lotion. It made my skin feel hydrated without a heavy application and didn't leave a greasy residue. I thought that this would be my new go-to moisturizer......until the rash came.

I hadn't changed anything in my skincare or makeup routine except for the introduction of this one product. I have unbelievably sensitive skin and just about everything under the sun (including the sun) gives my skin a rash. I wanted to try the "Simple" brand because they market that their products are made specifically for sensitive skin. Boy, I cannot tell you how unhappy I am that this wouldn't work for me.

It feels lovely going on and the smell is pleasant and hardly noticeable, but then I developed a rash on my forehead, temples, chin, and a little bit on my cheeks. My face is itchy and dry. *sigh* My skin is so tight and uncomfortable now. It's going to take forever for the redness to go down since my skin is very finicky.

I gave my sister this moisturizer and she likes it. She has normal/slightly combo skin that isn't sensitive. I'm very happy that it works for her. Well, I'll just have to continue the search for the perfect daily moisturizer.

I was glad to try a product that was "Simple", and highly rated. Unfortunately, for the first time in my life, it caused a crusty, swollen rash and a trip to the dermatologist. I had been on antibiotics the week before, so thought after I got over the rash I would try it again, to be sure it was the cause. Sure enough, I was itching so bad I had to get up in the middle of the night and wash my face and put on the cortesone ointment the doctor had given me to ease the pain. Wish I knew what the ingredient was that causes this, because I never get rashes from anything. I am a middle aged woman, so well past the acne stage.

Purchased this product a few weeks ago...I was suffering from some fairly frequent breakouts and wasn't moisturizing, which is extremely important no matter skin type (even so, I was neglecting to do so). As soon as I started using it, I saw an immediate difference in my skin, The texture was smoother, my skin tone appeared more even with continued use and just felt quenched and nourished. Happy to say my breakouts arent as prevelant. I think all I needed was a little moisture balance to my skin and Simple Light Moisture (I chose this one b/c I have combo/acne prone skin) seemed to deliver!!! Def Repurchase. I also got the Toner and Gel Face wash as well.

I bought this product at CVS for 11 USD with a 1 USD off coupon. It normally retails for about 12 USD in most drugstores, but I have seen it priced around 10 USD at Wal Mart and Target. The bottle contains 4.2 fluid ounces/125 milliliters of product, but I have found that a very little bit of this goes a very long way. I was unsure of how well this product would work for my skin as I have very dry skin, but while it's light, it really is very hydrating. It makes my skin feel soft, smooth, and well-moisturized. I also have very sensitive skin, so this product's lack of potentially irritating ingredients works well for me. I use this day and night, with a mineral sunblock underneath during the day. I find that it's not absolutely necessary for me to use a primer under my makeup with this moisturizer as it makes my skin feel so incredibly smooth. Makeup applies over it seamlessly and always looks great. I would definitely repurchase this product and recommend it to others, no matter what skin type.

I was so thrilled with the Simple gel wash, I ran out and bought the toner and this moisturizer to go with it. My skin is super sensitive and acne-prone and it's so calm and clear since I started using this line 2 weeks ago. The moisturizer is very light, yet it definitely provides enough moisture to make my skin feel comfortable. The only negative to this product is that it makes my eyes burn a bit, but it goes away quickly.

EDIT: I spoke a bit too soon. After a couple of weeks, my skin started getting really irritated, oily and breaking out a bit in small, rashy bumps. I think the moisturizer wasn't quite enough and, in turn, my skin started producing more oil. Oh well, back to the drawing board. =)

First ever moisturizer, I was happy with it! I needed something to balance out my skin and moisturize nicely, this was it. Really wasn't expensive.for a moisturizer though. I have sensitive skin, it didn't irrate it at all as it claims. Yes, I will.repurchase.

This Simple moisturizer should be SIMPLE!!No BS in it. It says it is kind to skin. Yeah right!
I used this a while ago and I wasn't happy with it. The smell is nice, the consistency is ok but in rest I don't like it. Eventhough it made my skin brighter, it made my pores look bigger and it was a bit too greasy for my combination, acne prone skin. Too many stuffs in this ''simple'' product! I will not buy it again.

I have fairly sensitive and irritated skin from messing about with it too much. I wanted to try a simple cheap routine and picked this up along with the gel wash. I found this moisturiser to be a light gel like texture, and it didnt cause any shine but I reacted badly to it. I used it for 2 days and nights before giving up. It left my face feeling really tight (my skin is normally combo) and I had redness/rash while using it. EDIT 12/05/13: I made the mistake of trying this again and it left my face in such a mess, very red and irritated! Horrible product.

This product isnt a miracle worker, but im not expecting it to be.
This is your basic everyday moisturizer, and that is why i like it. Its not heavy but still moisturizes my face without breaking me out or turning my face into a red tomato. I've tried tons of moisturizers and out of all of them I like this the best. I think my skin reacts better to a basic, simple skincare routine. I will def. repurchase.

This probably isn't terrible, but it gave me a burning sensation when I put it on, so I'll be returning it. Not the best for sensitive skin.
