I use this soap for almost everything now: shaving, showering, shampoo, some house cleaning, washing my face, etc. I'm going to try to use it in laundry tonight.
A little goes a long way with this soap. It's very strong.
A lot of people say it's bad as shampoo, but I think it's great. My hair feels light and textured after using it. I only apply a little bit to the roots, so maybe that's why my hair doesn't feel dry. I also recommend adding a few drops to a cup of water and running that in your hair, repeating until your hair feels clean if you're afraid of it drying your hair out by using too much.
It's good on makeup up brushes. It's great for shaving. It really cleans my skin but doesn't leave it feeling dry. I love washing my face with it. It seems to help keep my skin clear but doesn't dry it out like a toner.
I don't love the scents (have lavender and tea tree). They aren't bad smelling at all, but there are better smelling soaps out there. I also kind of dislike the crazy rambling all over the bottles, but this is something many people find charming.
The lavender smells like spot on lavender. The tea tree started to remind me of pine cleaner after a while. I tried it for tooth paste. Crazy, maybe but I was curious. It wasn't so bad and it worked, but the peppermint kind would obviously be a better option.

Best soap ever for hair. If I straighten my hair, the relaxer lasts so much longer with Dr. Bronners because it isn't washed away and it really cleans.

The peppermint liquid soap is amazing to use as a toothpaste, you just gotta get used to all the foam.

Not drying and the lavender is my favorite.

Love these! So gentle and so effective! They remove everything without drying out your face! I use this to remove regular mascara and make up. Unscented is great if you have extremely sensitive skin, probably any scent is good for sensitive skin (I like the citrus, smells like an orange creamsicle) The gels and soaps last a long time as it only takes a little bit to work up a good lather. However, sometimes I pour out to much when using a gel. Might get a foaming container for the gels.

These castille soaps are amazing! I use them as body wash but I then discovered that they were really effective but gentle enough for my dog. My dog used to scratch after I washed her and even after I used a sensitive dog shampoo (Malseeb) which the vet recommended. Since using Dr Bonners to wash my dog I have never used anything else on her. I use the peppermint in summer because it's really cooling and the smell is subtle so it doesn't annoy her.

Good product that really can be used for many different purposes. I used for showering, bathing, and general cleaning purposes and it does a great job without leaving my skin dry. I also like the different scents as well as the rose scent although I think it's not from real roses but from a 'rose-like' scent such as geranium. I think it's great though that it smells natural and actually is natural, unlike those with superficial rose scents. Overall, I like it and will buy it again.

Peppermint is my favourite. I use it to clean my house and to wash my body in the shower. I only use it in the shower in the summer during heat waves. It cools me right down. Try showering with this and then stand in front of a fan while your skin is still wet. You'll feel absolutely chilled. It's 99 degrees in my home but the bracing peppermint makes me shiver! Brrrrrrrrr.

Recently in efforts to be more green and friendly to the earth, I started making regular purchases of Dr. Bonner's magic soap. I get the big bottle of Peppermint at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's for $8.99.

I just love this stuff! It cleans everything and rinses squeaky clean. I use it to clean and I use it to wash with from time to time. Peppermint has the freshest scent to me, so I buy that one the most. Lavender is a fav because Lavender is said to have calming properties in times of stress so I like to have it around. My new found use for it is cleaning my makeup brushes. I became hooked when my MAC 168, 239, 219, 272 and various "skunk" brushes like the 130 and 131, look like new when cleaned with Dr. B's soap. BRAND NEW!!!! I also have replaced it as hand soap in my house. Your hands don't get dry when you use it because of the oils in the product. I love the smell it leaves behind, not just on you, but in the air.

I love this item and I want to try the almond one soon as the weather gets warmer. Orange is a good one too. I may also get unscented as well. Seriously, one day I would like to look under my sink and see an arsenal of Dr. B's under there. In my area, you can even get the gallon bottles at the Asian Beauty supply stores. I haven't checked the price point on that yet, but since I am buying so much of it might as well. This is officially a HG product. I just learned what HG means on line so I may sound corny, but I like using that term now, lol.

Anywhoo. I am anxious to look at all the reviews to see how other makeup divas are using the product. If you don't take anything else from the reviews, just know this product as a make-up brush cleaner is AMAZING! a little goes and long way and its the cheapest solution for cleaning brushes out there. Anyone who is using dawn dish detergent as a brush cleaner should stop right now for Dr. B's the real grease fighting solution. If you are worried about anti-bacterial qualities.Dr. B's really doesn't have them. I say spray the brushes with a bit of alcohol before and after washing. That's cheap too.

I've been using both the liquid and bar soaps for about two years now. I've tried every one except the baby formula.

I have to say that peppermint is my fave, followed by almond and then the tea tree. I use them to make my own liquid handsoap and just dilute and refill the bottles. I also make household cleaner out of a mix of teatree and peppermint, and it really gets things clean.

Laundry? Yep, a squirt or two of the lavender along with my regular detergent adds an extra touch. The best price I've found so far is on vitacost.com, especially because of the low shipping cost. You can't go wrong with these soaps!

I didn't buy the product, my friend had it at her house. We went out and felt gross and came back to her house, showered, and I have never felt cleaner. She had the peppermint scent and it was honestly such a great refreshing scent that left me feeling amazing. I love this stuff and I'm going to go buy a bottle!

My 2 year old has suffered with Exzema since he was 4 mths old....finally i have found a great all over body and hair wash for him that doesn't irritate his skin!! I have been using Dr. Bronner's baby on him for a couple of months now and love the results. I bought a sample size and it has lasted 2 mths with a bit still left! Will continue to purchase!
