I just realized that this is what has broken the bottom row of my lashes off entirely! It seems like a dream mascara at first so watch out. Thankfully I am using the OCM method at night, so my lashes are being nourished back to health with the oils. I am even considering getting Latisse! I realized I personally have to use a nourishing mascara like Boots (which is so gooooood!) Anyway, thought I would throw my 2 cents in, to hopefully save someone from getting their lashes dismantled.
Have used this for years. I like the fact that is doesn't fade! It does exactly what it says it does. It doesn't dry my eyelashes either. Sometimes I add another layer or coat of a different brand mascara to add volume, but only sometimes. Very, very pleased with this!

A pretty good dupe for Fiberwig except Fiberwig does not have any clumps no matter how many layers I add. Fiberwig also looks more feathery and natural, whereas if this mascara is used wrongly it can appear a bit spikey and unnatural. That said, this mascara absolutely does not smudge and gives amazing length! Please understand that EVERYTHING smudges on me, waterproof, smudgeproof, everything! Volume would be about the same as Fiberwig (aka a little lacking for my asian lashes), but it is perfect when I use it over Covergirl lashblast fusion (which, as amazing as it is, tends to smudge a little after 2 hours, or right away after a tiny drop of water touches the lashes)! Removal is great, almost as good as Fiberwig! I get a little annoyed at some of the reviews here that complain about how hard it is to remove and how they had to use lots of makeup remover and scrub really hard. There are these things called instructions that, well, instruct you. Just use warm water and gently roll your lashes between your fingers. That will remove 95% of the mascara, and then just follow with your usual cleanser and (optional) toner. I fail to see how this is "so hard to remove" when it is essentially skipping the step of using a makeup remover. This is the beauty of tubing technology :)

Love this mascara!!!! It definitely extends and plumps my lashes, more and more with each application.
I prefer this to normal liquid mascaras as it doesn't smudge by the end of the day as others do but it's still super easy to remove!
All it needs is warm water and a face washer or cotton pads. Can't get much better than that.

I have purchased this mascara numerous times now and never been disappointed. Like many of the other reviewers, I have short, thin and straight lashes :( I wish I was blessed with my boyfriends lashes actually (long, thick and curled! every womans dream) how do guys always end up with lovely lashes? lol Anyways ... This mascara is great. I do have to use an eye lash curler with this before I put the primer on, probably not all would have to, if I don't my lashes would just stick straight out. It lasts all day (its lasting power is probably why its a bit of a task to remove) and looks fantastic. I have super long, thick and curled lashes with this product. Thanks L'Oreal.

I've bought this product multiple times, and because it works for me. I have normal thickness and short lashes. This really give me a "falsies" look without even trying. I find this mascara difficult to mess up, you just apply both ends like a normal mascara and instant awesome! After all the mascaras I've tried I always go back to this one every once in a while. The only thing that I find annoying is the removal. But thats my ONLY complaint, it lasts all day, keeps the curl, and the length as well. =)

THE best mascara for monolids. I disliked it as first but after getting the hang of the primer, I loved it. Though I don't use the primer on an everyday bases due to too much hassle. Even without the primer, it is still very lengthening and voluminous if you wiggle it at the roots like you should xP Oh I forgot, the reason I love it is because it never smudge, washes away very easily with warm water, and the cheapest tube technology mascara. Worth repurchasing, and repurchasing, and never look at another mascara.

I have short, stick-straight (they point directly downward too darn it) eye lashes that are sparse and not very noticeable. On top of that my eyes are hooded and lids tend to be oily.
This is the absolute best mascara I've found. With this mascara my eyelashes are not only visible, they're visibly long and curled! It has never smudged on my upper or lower eye area and is so easy to remove. Sometimes I forget to take it off (just wet a piece of paper towel and press lashes in between for about 30 seconds and gently wipe off) and it just comes off in the shower. It very rarely clumps however it also builds virtually no volume, but I think you can probably layer this with another mascara? Haven't tried because I am just so happy that I finally have long long lashes! Will keep buying for sure.
I have very short, straight, lashes and have tried MANY different mascaras and this is by far the best that I've tried and will continue to purchase. It made my lashes so much longer! It doesn't clump or smudge. I like putting mascara on my bottom lashes and many mascaras turn into a black mess under my eyes. This mascara stays looking fresh and doesn't flake either. It holds curl well also. You do have to figure out the right technique to apply but once you know how your lashes look great. My lashes look like they're someone elses, that's how much of a difference it makes. It is a more wet mascara so you have to be careful when applying it. It comes off so well when washing my face and it doesn't pull or break my lashes either. I will buy this product again.

I discovered tube mascaras about 6 months ago after years of irritated raccoon eyes. They were the only thing that could get me to spend on pricy department store brands -- I started with Blinc's Kiss Me (tubes were a revelation, but the formula/application/result was meh), then moved onto Clinique Lash Power (applied well and looked better than the Blinc, but removal was a nightmare -- it flaked off in bits rather than coming off in tubes, and always got in my eyes). Then I moved onto L'Oreal Beauty Tubes, the drugstore version, and so far it's far superior.
Beauty Tubes definitely gives the most dramatic results -- it gives a lot of length and a decent amount of volume. The formula goes on well, although the primer step is a little weird; it can get a little clumpy, but a quick pass with a lash comb should solve it. It lasts all day with no budging. The formula is a little sticky -- if I have it on top and bottom, I can feel myself blinking sometimes, but it's not unpleasant. Removal is a dream.
The price seems good -- it's about $10 or $11 at Target, a few dollars cheaper than Clinique and substantially cheaper than Blinc -- except that you really don't get very much product. The tube is huge, but the two wells of mascara (primer and top coat) take up maybe a third of it. I only use my mascaras for 3 months for health reasons, so if it lasts that long it's not a problem. If not, though, it's not such a bargain after all, and I might try Trish McEvoy or another high-end tube version next.
