I have used this off and on for years. I couldn't use the newer version that had avobenzene so I was happ when the "gentle" formula was re-released. I like this sunscreen when I'm not going to be in the sun much as it doesn't provide great protection. It's great when my skin is irritated, I find it to be soothing. Highly recommended!
I've been using this forever, and just repurchased. It's my favorite summertime moisturizer because it's so light and sinks in without leaving any greasiness. My skin is sensitive and tends to be dry, especially my cheeks. This hydrates very well and never clogs my pores or stings. Love that it has an SPF, too.
So, this review is for the "classic" formula with Zinc Oxide... not the newly reformulated one with Avobenzone. This is a pretty good SPF moisture lotion for combination/oily skin. I used to wear it every single day, but it seemed to always feel a little heavy by the end of the day and a little greasy.... nothing too horrible, but it's a feeling I can't tolerate for everyday use. Still, it is probably the best facial moisturizer w/ SPF that I've found that really doesn't break me out, does not have that awful sunscreen smell and is well formulated... it contains Vitamin E and a host of other good-for-your skin ingredients. Whenever I need sun protection for my face, this is what I always use.... it is a staple in my medicine cabinet and I always take it with me on vacations. I just wish it was a tad more mattifying for everyday use.

I have combination skin. This moisturizer leaves even my cheeks (not normally shiny) greasy looking. My t-zone? Absolutely horrifying.
It says for sensitive skin; I don't really have sensitive skin, and no moisturizer has ever made my face sting except this one.
Did not like this moisturizer. It felt like it left a film on my face after I put it on and let it "absorb." Made my t-zone look extra shiny/oily. Seemed like it was hard to wash off as well.
This is my HG of sunscreens. I’ve been using it for years, and always make sure I have some around. My skin is pale, combination and prone to sensitivity and blemishes, and this lotion doesn’t pose any problems for me. It moisturises my dry cheeks and chin, and doesn’t make the rest oily. I have never gotten sunburnt while using it. The worst I can say is that it can make my skin look a little shiny, but blotting helps with this. The packaging is also handy - it won’t leak and you can easily get the last of the lotion out of the bottle.
Leaves my combination skin a bit too shiny... it does hydrate well and feels very good on my skin... i don't wear any kind of coverage on my skin but might get some pressed powder to tone down the shine. You just need to adjust how much lotion you put on your skin, i suppose.
Doesn't sting my eyes or irritate my already dry/sensitive skin, absorbs well while moisturizing and providing antioxidants. Im so glad I tried this cuz it's the best face SS IMO, and I think I'll stop here :).
There is something different about this new classic formula. I believe the old one has zinc and titanium dioxide as the sunscreen ingredients. The old one never clogged my pores but this one does. The things I do like is that it is light, but moisturizing enough to keep flakes away. It is also not greasy and helps to keep my skin less oily. Has anyone else experienced their pores getting clogged?

Very good, standard moisturizer that does what it says without irritating skin or causing any breakout. I have combo skin and acne has always been my concern (keeps coming but not severe). This is the best moisturizer w/ sunscreen i have tried, plus it's not as expensive as other high end brand products.
Will definitely recommend it to anyone who look for a good daytime moisturizer for face.
p.s. Since Canada do not carry the old formula anymore, I went to the States to buy this product ( the old formula is what I bought and used, after reading the review of users about the new formula on MUA)
