I'm sure this works for some, but it just doesn't cut it for me unfortunately.
This actually slides off of my eyelids (which aren't oily, I use a primer to stop mild creasing and to increase the colour payoff of my shadows.)
On top of that, when I squeeze it out of the tube, there was always a drop of oil EVERY TIME, even if I shook it. So I took to putting a large dot on the back of my hand to combat this, which wasted the product.
This never really set on my eyelids either, like UDPP does, so my eyeshadows turned into an oily mess!
Maybe I just had a bad tube, but from my experience, I cannot recommend this and wouldn't buy it again. It's a shame, because I love everything else from Too Faced!

I love TF's e/s primer much better than UDPP bc it actually doesn't crease! I have oily lids so I think TF's formula works better for me.
I got it when on Hautelook and they had a deal for $18 for this and a small 6 shade palette. I thought it was worth a shot! If I didn't like it, at least I'd have the palette. Good thing I liked them both! :)
I like it but I don't love it. I reeeeeally love Lorac's Behind the Scene primer bc it's silkier and leave less of a color behind.
I'd buy again bc it works, but not an absolute staple.

Love this primer! It does exactly what it's supposed to do and feels nice and lightweight on my eyelids. My eyeshadow goes on perfectly over it and doesn't budge. A little bit of this product goes a long way as well. There is some separation in the tube but if you shake it up it's not really a problem.
I've tried MAC paint pots, ELF, Sephora, Mirabella; finally I've found a primer that makes my eye shadow stay put!! It makes even cheap shadow stay. Don't waste $ or time on other primers, just buy Too Faced!
This is my favorite eye primer. I apply this under my shadow before I go to school and everything is still there at 6pm after track practice. No creasing or fading.
The only thing a bit tricky about this product is the amount to use; if you use too much, there's a "reverse" effect so obviously there's creasing
This is the best shadow primer there is.
It will help your eye makeup stay on until YOU want to take it off. Zero creasing. Zero smudging.
I have oily eyelids, and before I started using this primer my eye makeup would last a few hours, at most. Now it generally holds up for an entire 9-5 workday.
I will buy this product again and again and again.
This is the first es primer I've ever bought and I haven't had to switch at all! It totally works for me on my oily eyelids which eat through anything I put on them. I used the tiniest amount (I love the squeeze tube with the tiny nozzle) on each eyelid and let it dry to a slightly powdery finish. (I've even used this under my concealer.)
Eyeshadows and eyeliners don't crease, look brighter and truer to color and by the end of the day (or night..) just naturally fade ever so slightly. It's effing amazing, I haven't had to try anything else.

I like Urban Decay's Primer Potion too but I find that this one stops creasing completely. Everyone raves about UDPP but I think Too Faced is better to me.

I first tried the MAC soft ocre and painterly, and that was a little too heavy on my lid. Then I tried the Urban Decay primer but that was too drying on my lids, considering that I have pretty dry lids to begin with. Then I tried the Shadow Insurance! It is great. It has great creamy consistency and glides on my lids very smoothly. It makes my shadows and eyeliner last all day long considering my monolids.
