I liked this mascara, it made me eyelashes look nice and long and thick BUT it always ran under the eye which is a problem. I dont know if this was just me? I do not tend to get this with many other mascara's...
I think I would repurchase to try it out in the winter to see if it still smudges.
It's OK. I received a gift size for my bday gift at Sephora. I like
the dramatic lashes it gave me, however the brush was horrible
in my opinion, way too stiff and poke-y. The brushes plastic bristles
were all most spike like and painful when I tried to get a really
close application at the base of my lashes.
The formula is a little too thick and clumpy for my taste,
it took a bit of work when applying. Overall it was a decent
look, however on account of the unpleasant bristles, and less
than favorable formula I will have to skip it.
I know some love this mascara, it's just not my cup of tea.
ETA: I have been restesting despite my disdain for
the spikey painful brush (I prefer a much softer brush, that
could not be considered a weapon near the eyes!)
I have to deduct further points as this is very hard to remove,
and leaves a rubberized plastic type coating on my lashes.
It also clumps them together. Awful product so glad
mine is from the Sephora birthday set, VERY disappointing.
This is probably the best mascara I have used so far. I see a dramatic difference in my lashes once I apply this and it perks up my small eyes. It is prone to clumping and I have experienced mild irritation with this product, but it works wonders. The formula is not too thick so that numerous applications won't give you spider lashes.
Now I know I should never, ever try these type of plastic brushes...ineffective. No length, no volume, just a mess. Good thing this was a sample.
I love this mascara to death. My lashes get so beyond long, wow. Everything it advertises is absolutely true. My only complaint is that my eyelashes tend to stick together and not separate well. Great mascara for volume and length though.
I cannot believe I spent this much on a mascara, but it was really worth it!!! I received a sample of this using my Sephora points. The first time I tried it I wasn't really impressed. I liked the brush a lot, but the formula was a little thin. I put it away and then tried it again about a week later. OMG!! It was instant love!! The formula thickened up in that week and became perfect!! I have really thin and stick straight lashes. I have to curl them about 10 times just to get a good curl. Other mascaras always weighed the curl down. This mascara made the curl stay all day long!! I honestly look like I have fake eyelashes on when I wear this. I really, really love it!! I purchased a full sized tube when I ran out of the sample. The same thing happened with this tube. The first time I tried it the formula was thin. I let it sit for a few days and then tried it again and it was perfect. I will definitely keep buying this as long as I'm able to!!
This mascara & the brush are AMAZING, but it's so hard to get off. And if you're anything like me, the last thing you want to do at night when you are tired is spend 15 minutes getting your freaking eye makeup off.
But seriously, strangers would approach me and ask if I was wearing fake lashes with this mascara on, so there's that. It's pretty fabulous, but if I'm going to work that hard to take it off, I won't be paying $23.
Hated. Everything. Messy. Tacky. Un-effective.
I have only used drug store mascaras in the past (because I thought mascara was one thing that didn't matter where you got it) until recently I got this mascara in my birthday gift, as a beauty insider at Sephora. I was surprised how much I liked this mascara..it didn't flake, it kept my lashes curled, and I really liked the spikes at the end of the brush to get the little lashes in the inner corner. However, I only gave it three stars because I took one away cuz I thought it smeared a little, and one because the brush was hard to get the bottom lashes. I'd recommend getting the small size to try first. Or..wait until its your birthday! :D
This product is nothing special. In fact, I dislike it more than most mascaras that I've tried recently. It rubbed off around my eyes and onto my skin around the socket line, and by the end of the day it had clouded my contact lenses. I can't remember any other mascara doing that in recent history from regular wear (no crying, not hot outside, etc.). It looked okay when I first put it on, but again, it was nothing special and required extra combing to remove clumps. I have another full tube that I got in part of a holiday kit that just came out, and I am certain that I won't be using it. People's opinions will always vary, but I'd say try something else. (FWIW, Revlon's Photoready HD is way better, IMO, as is Covergirl's Lash Blast in the orange tube.)
