I love this blush! Gorgeous bright pale pink shade! You only need a little as it goes along way. I would buy this again, but i don't think i would need to as it would last a really long time!!
Nice color for medium-light olives like me, who find that many pink blushes turn coral on the skin. It's cool enough to stay pink, and light enough not to appear doll-face pink. For reference, Shu's M Pink 31 turned into an ill-looking warm color on me. Katie looks chalky and pale in the pan, but does not appear that way on my face. Quality of Illamasqua blushes is good. The are smooth and last all day, but appear more powdery than other high-end matte blushes (e.g. Nars, Shu) if skin is not well-moisturized. However, I like the formula because shimmer particles and emollient powders are more likely to cause sensitives and break outs. Also, I feel the pigment of Illamasqua's POWDER blushes is exaggerated. I don't need to use a light hand with many colors, including this one.
This is a very beautiful pink blush that works really well on my pale skin. I can get the perfect amount of color without it looking garish or too bright. The blush lasts on my skin a long time with a primer under my foundation (oily skin here). So far this is my fave blush. Pricey, but when you find your go-to product, it's worth it to me. Love this blush. I can even put it on top of other blushes to tone them down. Perfect flush of color!
I am super pale and on a never ending search for PALE yet PIGMENTED pinks without ANY brown tones..this is it! It's the palest and most pigmented blush I've found, and gives an angelic and illuminating effect despite being completely matte. Plus, it smells and tastes (don't ask) like cupcakes. :D I do have to agree that the finish can look a bit powdery, but that goes away 30 minutes after applying when it seems to settle in with the natural oils of my skin. PSA: the Prestige eyeshadow "Ballet" is nearly identical in color/pigmentation - I've been using it as a blush for years, and the only difference between the two is that Ballet has a satin finish.
Yep, this is a ridiculously good blush, especially for pale skin. It's very very pigmented for such a pale color, yet it's quite difficult to go wrong applying this. It blends like a dream, and is totally matte without really giving any chalky finish. It doesn't even look like blush to be honest. It just looks like the most delicate, beautiful dainty flush possible on my NC10-15 skin. I'm especially pleased that this doesn't have too much of a blue undertone, which would make the light pink look majorly fake. Illamasqua packaging is chic and you get a lot of product, so I don't think I will run out of this if I try to, even though I use it daily. Now that I think about it, this is my HG blush. Hallelujah!
This is my favorite blush at the moment! I absolutely LOVE it! It's a milky pink that looks amazing when applied with a skunk, but is equally as amazing when built up to a bright pink flush. Lasts all day. And now my favorite part... It's totally matte! No shimmer, glitter, or little sparklies! Yay! Applies very smooth and streak free, blends like a dream. I'm off to sephora to purchase another color or two.
I just got this today in my package from Sephora and it is beautiful. I tried using a few different brushes, I looked crazy by the time I was done, but I agree with a previous post that a duo fibre is the way to go. I believe they used the Mac 187, I have the Sigma version. I think I want to purchase Tremble and Expose as well.
I hated this blush when I first got it. I'm NC20-ish for reference and the first time I applied this I thought...."great, another pasty matte illamasqua product blech!". My skin looked dry and flat and I just hated it (in direct sunlight, ye gad!). BUT I love the color. It's a gorgeous soft, cool, pastel baby pink with zero peach, tan or beige in it so now I use the tiniest amount of Bobbi Browns beige shimmerbrick over it to give it a bit of shimmer/life and its much more wearable. Normally I wouldn't bother adding an extra step for a blush but the color is relatively unique to me. It's cooler and brighter than Mac's cute but much paler than swoon.
Beautiful pale pink blush! you only need a little tap with a brush to get a good amount and it blends so smoothly. I am loving this color alot ... it will be perfect for spring! Cant wait to try other colors.
Absolutely beautiful! I've been looking for this shade for years. Many pale pinks I've tried in the past were too dark to look natural, too bright, or had an orange-y undertone. This color is perfect and VERY pigmented. A tiny tap with your brush is all you need so the product will last for quite some time. It's easily blended and the staying power is good, too. Highly recommended, especially for pale girls like me.
