This is the only eyeliner I use anymore!! It gives eyes a dramatic look and it lasts all day. The only bad things I have to say are, I hate how expensive it is(but I'm a broke college kid, everything seems expensive to me!!) and the lid on the applicator brush comes off and gets eyeliner on all my other makeup in my makeup bag sometimes. I have big eyes and this gives me the cat eye affect I love!

This stuff is pretty good. It goes on semi smoothly (you have to swipe a few times) and the brown is wonderful because it's not too dramatic.

The brush is not too bad, but I wish it was more angled and less pointy like a traditional brush.

The ad is misleading on the texture because it's not THAT creamy. It's a bit more solid and I've had this for a few months now and it has dried up a bit, but it's still very usable.

The only problem is that it's almost $10 and it fades after a long day, but I have oily skin so that's pretty much expected. I'm pretty sure it would stay very put on people with normal skin

I am going to buy this again until I find another brown gel liner that is cheaper.

I was so excited when i heard that Maybelline released a gel eyeliner because i couldn't find one from any drugstore brand, i literally rushed into the store to get my hands on it.
I applied it with a thin angled eyeliner brush (ecotools) and found that it applied very smoothly with a rich and potent colour payoff. Throughout the day it didn't smudge or fade at all.

HOWEVER...

2 months after opening the product, I discovered that it was starting to dry up. Afterwards, it worked OK but not as well as when i first opened it. The formula wasn't as smooth and needed a little reapplying.
After a day of sweating, running and basically living, it did fade quite a bit and wasn't as strong as i wanted it to be.
I found that if i scrape off the drying top layer, it would work prefectly find again.

Overall, i really do adore the product since i dont have a MAC/ Bobby Brown near me so it's really convenient to buy this one. The packaging is very high end and chic so no problems there. I guess the drying process is inevitable.

HORRENDOUS!!!! Ive worn black eye liner for many years daily ans after seeing this fly of the shelves in boots dew to rave reviews thought fab!!!

Smudgeprrof and waterproof ? It was stuck to my upper eyelids within an hour???
Intense for long lastting? Again all over the place?
Also made my eyes quite sticky feeling?

Says removes easily with eye make up remover? I didnt need any it was already off!

Not normally one to complain and to be honest thought "Its just me" but after asking a few girls aa work if theyd tried it they ALL said the same as me!!!!!! BIG disappointment :( x

I was going to get MAC Fluidline, but I did some research and the Maybelline one has just as great reviews and was just launched here in the UK. Plus its half the price!
I was pleased that this came with a brush. It's actually perfectly fine for doing a winged out dramatic eye, but doesn't work so well if you want a thin line. A MAC 210 would be better.
The eyeliner is really really good. It is a rich deep black and goes on smoothly and evenly. Application is a cinch. It can be corrected with a q tip at the time of application and then it stays put all day. I wore dramatic winged liner yesterday while out visiting family with my 6 month old son and it was fully intact when I got home just as it had been when I put it on. Its only £6-£8 in the UK and comes with a brush, whats not to like?!

I have all four colors. Generally, this is alright for the price. But $40 is a little steep for only 4 eyeliner pots. However these last for SUCH a long time! The staying power isn't so hot. I found that Charcoal's texture was not creamy and didn't really go on my eyes. The brown and black are fantastic. Purple doesn't really look purple, but it's great for a softer look. It has the same texture issue as charcoal. :/ This smudges easily, and kinda creases, so I don't think I'll be buying it again. But I'm going to finish off all of the pots before I buy another one.

I've been wearing this for about 1 month now as I needed to replace my L'Oreal HIP gel eyeliner that went dry. I really like this product as it is also cheaper. It provides me with a bold black line and you can intensify the black even more by layering it. I use this on my waterline/upper lashline and don't have any problems with smudging. It also doesn't irritate my eyes either. I like the staying power, it last's all day and I don't have to worry about touch-ups. I don't like the brush that comes with it. It can be a little flimsy, so I use an angled eyeliner brush and it works perfectly. I can achieve the thinnest and thickest lines using that brush. Taking the gel liner off, you will need a good eye-maker remover or use vaseline, because this stuff really does stay on, and can be a bit off a pain to remove. The rest of the product hasn't dried out yet, so I'm pleased with that. A definite repurchase!

I just used this for the first time today and I already like it better than the pencil eyeliner I've used forever. It allows for a finer line and you can layer it to make it as dark as you like. Glad I bought this.

This is such a little gem! Every bit as good (if not better) as MAC's gel liners! I'm usually faithful to L'oreal Intense Liquid Liner, but I have discovered that gel liners give a softer look and you have more control..it can be a more tedious process using the little brush to paint on the line, so i still use liquid liners if I'm in a hurry. The brush that comes with the liner is great quality too which shocked me. You can totally do a fabulous cat eye with this! I have it in black, but I think I want to pick one up in brown too. Can't believe I'm just now discovering this! Love, love love!!!

Love this eyeliner. The only one I'll use from now on. It's nice & creamy & nothing else is darker than this. It's a nice size jar & the brush is useful unlike other eyeliner brushes. It stays on & fresh thru out the whole day. I usually use it with primer underneath so it helps with the smudging. Ever since using this, I've thrown all my other liners away. LOVE IT!
