This is a shimmery medium brown with a somewhat mauvey tone to it. This would look good on nearly every skintone. The formula is very smooth and the color works great for day or evening looks. A great neutral staple for everyone's collection. I would highly reccommend this, especially to beginners.

Satin Taupe is really a super useful color. It is very versatile, and can be used to do a natural smokey eye, in the crease, outer corner, endless combination possibilities! It can be described as a plummy cool brown, not really a taupe, in my opinion. It can be paired with many different colors, I love pairing this with a pale pink, and Satin Taupe in the crease and outer V for a simple look.

Don't get this if you're expecting a taupe, though. This is definitely more brown than taupe.

just that basic color, that i guess you can count on. but i like to be a little bit more fun with my colors! while this may be a staple people, you only live once.. so get out there.. get that aquadisiac.. smoke up that carbon.. be fabulous.

yes yes.. i know what you're thinking, britney did have it on in her "overprotected" video ... but its really important with colors like this that you go ahead and blend something a little bit more fun to bring that twinkle to your eye!

I've used this color for years. I love using it as a crease color and as a liner. Pairs great with naked lunch, all that glitters (for a natural eye look) and expensive pink.

the color is awesome and really brings out the brown in my eyes...I haven't been excited over a color in a long time, but this color has me looking forward to really nice colors again.!!

This color is absolute HG for me! It makes my brown eyes pop like no other. I can wear this in the crease or on my lid and it looks great everytime! Easily blendable and looks good with tons of other colors.

I adore this colour. it works on its own, or can be used to blend with other darker shadows for a nice smokey look. it looks slightly purplely (to me) in the case which was why i was quite reluctant to try it at first, but i have discovered it is SOO versatile, and i use it mostly for night. it goes on like a dream and the colour is a mix of dark purple and shimmer and grey. great on its own with eyeliner too!

I am a cool (NW20) and this is my HG eyeshadow. Goes with everything and really brings out the blue in my aqua eyes. Can be played up or down, depending on the occasion. For work, I usually just wear this alone, with some black eyeliner and mascara. For evening, I use this as a base and then apply darker shades around the corners of my eyes for a dramatic smokey eyes effect. Just gorgeous!
