OMG! Talk about HG brush!!! I have only used this brush for applying my pressed powder thus far...but WOW! The finish is amazing. Looks almost airbrushed. I have 3 or 4 of these now, I lost count. I love how soft and dense the bristles are.I can stipple the powder on for extra coverage, or just swirl it on. I can't say enough about how wonderful this brush works, and I haven't even used it for all it's uses yet! I'm excited to use it with my liquid foundation, but not looking forward to all the wasted product that the bristles will soak up. I have ELF's Stippling brush, but haven't used it yet. Will be interesting to compare the two in that category. Like everyone says, just buy it! You will NOT be disappointed! It's a dream come true! Wait for a sale and you will be even happier. LOL

I own several Elf Studio brushes, and I am pretty happy with them, but this brush in particular really stands out. It is soft and fluffy, very dense, and does not shed. Where this brush truly shines is foundation application. I use it for buffing on liquid or mousse foundations. It makes blending a breeze, and it gives a fabulous, flawless, airbrushed finish. I spritz my face and the brush lightly with MAC Fix+ or ELF Mist & Set, then dab a bit of the foundation on the back of my hand, tap the brush into it, and buff it onto face. Amazing. It is also very easy to clean, and has a nice professional quality appearance. I clean mine after each use with a daily brush cleaner spray, and then wash about once every 1-2 weeks as needed. I highly recommend this brush - for $3 you simply cannot beat it - and I will definitely repurchase if the need ever arises.

Edited: I've upgraded most of my brushes to MAC, but kept this one & still reach for it daily. It works well, is soft, and doesn't shed. It is perfect for stippling & buffing on foundations. There is nothing comparable (synthetic large flat-top) available in MAC's line currently, and most of the other higher-end versions I've seen are considerably smaller in size. This works so amazingly for $3 there's really no need to try others.

A really good brush to apply loose powders, powder foundations (much better than the ELF kabuki) and also very lightly pigmented blush (Nars Sex Appeal in my case). It's soft and dense enough to pick enough product, distributes the powders evenly. Maintains its shape after the washes and doesn't shed at all.

OMG! Found this little gem at my local Target! I was seriously contemplating buying this brush off the ELF website, but as I was wandering the aisles of Target, I came across this (it was the last one on the shelf btw) & was so pleasantly surprised. Used it for liquid foundation, buffed it into my face like a dream.

Oh, studio powder brush how do I love thee. Let me count the ways. 1: You work so flawlessly with my liquid foundation, 2: You make powder application easy and dare I say darn near perfect,3: You are so cheap but so very soft. All joking aside this is my go to brush for applying anything to my face, plus it is super easy to clean. So far I have three and I plan on buying more once another sale pops up. Only downsides is that 1: when applying liquid foundation or trying to stipple with this brush you use a lot more product cause the brush will soak it up. 2: Over time it starts getting loose from the handle which can be a real bother.

Above and beyond. Great quality, soft bristles, dense. Can be used for liquid foundation, powder foundation, mineral foundation, any types of priming or setting powders, and even to buff out blush or bronzer. Multifunctional.

I bought a few E.L.F. brushes during their half-off Studio sale solely based on the glowing reviews here. I have to say that this powder brush is my favorite of the lot.
This brush has changed the way my liquid foundation looks, feels, and applies. I've been using it for a week and it's HG all over the place.
Before using this brush I was using my fingers, so with the brush I have to use more product and take more time with the application but the coverage is so good that I don't use as much concealer or setting powder. Stippling liquid foundation with this brush gives the most wonderful finish, I really haven't seen anything like it.
I've used it once or twice for blush and it really picks up the powder, this brush is very dense. It holds up well to washing. I haven't experienced any parts of the brush falling apart that other reviews mention.
I paid $1.50 for it but it's definitely worth the full price of $3, probably even more. If you wear liquid foundation you need to at least try this brush.

In the past, I've always put off buying this brush because I heard terrible things about the shipping/service of the ELF website. It wasn't until last week that I spied this at my local Target and snagged the last one. I washed this brush with no problems, it didn't shed, bleed or smell funny. I used it for foundation the next day and it was very gentle on my face and blended like a dream. Unfortunately, I noticed that my brush had a bit of glue residue at the tips of say......20 brush hairs at the edge of the brush, so the majority of the hairs were just fine, but I could not get the glue off. The packaging was not that great, it is simply cased in a plastic pouch that isn't sealed and it kind of warps the brush head a little bit, but that can be fixed after washing. For the bargain price of $3, I'll be picking up a few more of these so I can switch them out while I wash/dry the other ones. (I also love this for powder and bronzer!)
