I've been thinking about this produce since last year because the colour definitely looked appealing to me. (Anything "pink" generally catches my attention)
I was walking around the mall the other day and noticed this came with a special bonus package with a small sample of the Moisture Surge Spray and a cute flower carrying case.
The texture of this gel like moisturizer is very nice.
Because it contains aloe vera, it feels soothing and is refreshing to the skin. It sinks in relatively fast which is great because most moisturizers in the North American market don't do that to my skin.
I only gave the product 3 lippies because 1) It's steep in price for such a small jar, and b) it is ridiculously unsanitary. Pots are only made for cooking, not for makeup to dig your fingers into! Other than that it is a nice refreshing gel, especially for the summer time. ANd no, I probably won't repurchas as there as better products out there. continued >>
This works well to refresh my oily skin without causing breakouts or greasiness. I like the texture and how quickly this sinks in, and it moisturizes better than many higher-end products I've used. Despite, I will not repurchase because it contains parabens/icky chemicals, and doesn't have SPF or antioxidants.
This is a nice moisturizer for summer but still not quite enough for my dry skin. I'll go back to my DDML, it's cheaper and is my fav.

OMG! I got this for free a few days ago at the makeup counter in macys and let me tell you this made my skin BRIGHT RED! I wanted to like it because the little bottle and color was so cute and travel friendly but made me look like a tomato and my face felt very heated too!
This moisturiser is quite similar to DDMG, in texture & consistency.Packaged in a jar instead of pump bottle. It has no fragrance & feels refreshing Bcoz of Aloe vera. Very light, similar to Biotherm Aquasource, but Biotherm has those spring water stuff thingy.... Nothing great, just normal hydration, full of silicone & pricewise...its too costly.
The first thing you need to know is that this is NOT a moisturizer. It is more like a moisture "boost" that you can use under or on top of other stuff. I originally bought it as part of a package that was advertised as good for dry skin. The package contained All About Eyes (only product I kinda like), the Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser (which is quite drying) and the Moisture Surge gel (oh and a cute pink bag I actually love).
Just so you know I have very dry and sensitive skin. I have tried this product in several ways, I'll give you a breakdown:
1) As a moisturizer on its own: Forget about it! The gel just sank and my skin was dry and itchy 2 hours later.
2) Over moisturizer: It was actually ok. I put it on over a lightweight lotion and I felt it 'preserved' the moisture longer.
3) Under makeup: Makeup usually flakes my skin... this didn't really help the cause.
4) Over makeup: Surprisingly, it did help my skin be less flaky this time so I might keep using it whenever I wear makeup (once every blue moon).
5) As a midday pick me up: This is the best way for me actually. The gel feels very nice going on.. its very refreshing (probably the aloe it has). So right now its hot outside and I walk back on forth from school every day so I put this on when I get home and its quite relaxing to pat the gel on my hot/dehydrated face. Its enough because I use a good moisturizer in the morning and night but again, it would not be enough on its own.
Would I buy this again? Nope, nope, nope. But I need to use up this jar one way or another. It is very expensive so I won't be throwing this away (it hasn't caused irritation after all) but I am giving you all this info so that you are prepared in case you want to buy it. I am SO not a clinique lover after all the dissapointments I've had with it.
I love this product and buy it regularly. It is expensive though, so I either get it in the states ( the $ price is the £ price in the UK! ). I use it as a serum i.e. under my regular moisturiser both day and night. I tend to alternate between this and protect and perfect from Boots. I do have dry skin, but it's never allowed to dry out, due to me slapping loadsa stuff on. I even put Balm Balm over both these layers when it's really cold!
Got this for free.. wasn't impressed. I tried this on my neck and was pleased at first - I liked the gel texture because it felt light and it absorbed easily. I hate heavy moisturizers. But.. by the end of the day, the skin on my neck felt drier than ever, with little red blotches. I'm glad I didn't put this on my face!
Love, love, love this moisturizer! this is a great product....oil free and fragrance free....and feels like it just plumps up the skin......highly recommended .
This is a very versatile product. I use it on my face, throat, and chest, sometimes my arms. It feels wonderful on the skin, adding softness without an oily feeling. I usually use it as a night cream to put on over my regular moisturizer to keep my dry skin hydrated throughout the night, to add spreadibility to my tinted moisturizer, and an after sun treatment (contains aloe). A great product to have around for additional hydration purposes. Recommended.
