This product is okay. I used to like them a lot more, but in all honesty they aren't the best chapsticks I have ever used. They have a super liquidy type feeling to them, like your lips are really slippery, which I don't like. They aren't even that moisturizing but I still own a ton of these because the colour pay off is more natural then having a lipstick. They are only $4 so if you bought one in a really pretty colour then it's probably worth the buy, but as a regular chapstick I prefer my EOS Lip balm.
I got this recently in peach kiss and here are the pros and cons
Pros: smells great! Even though its not edible it tastes good also ;). Isn't sticky feeling. Feels a little like gloss but not sticky and gross.
Cons: way overrated. Even though I gave this a 3, it's not all that great. It's good for its smell and that's about it. It doesn't make them puffy at all. Drys the hell out my lips, it's more of a lipstick than lip balm. I have to constantly re-apply so my lips don't hurt :(
I really did like this because it smells wonderful, but if you're buying it because all your friend have it, just stick to Burt's bee, it's better.
Love these!! I got the grape; it is very smooth and does not give me what I call 'lip goo' LOL It wears off evenly and smells and tastes yummy. It would be nice if it lasted a bit longer, but I usually apply chapstick often anyways, so that is not really a big issue. The color is not to intense that I feel like I can do it without looking in the mirror, but if I want ti build more color then I can.
Over all this product is smooth and great for the lips but a bit expensive as where i live, it cost around $5, but judging by its performance i would say its an okay price. I really do love these chapsticks! i have peach kiss and cherry me and they are both really nice. I believe peppermint and quenched are the only ones that aren't tinted. The tints on these chapsticks are really nice, personally im not to fond of lipgloss as i feel it gives off a sticky feel and it does help when its windy and you leave your hair out lol. but with these, they give my lips a nice light tint leaving soft and smooth. They also contain SPF 20 in it which is good too! These are also nice for young teens as its colour is very faint but still adds some shine and some tint plus it smells soooooo good lol. I love these overall and i will definetley be repurchasing!! I'm looking to buy Fruity punch next:)
PROS: comes in individual packages, cute container, super moisturizing, smells great, tastes good, feels amazing :)
CONS: really expensive :(
COMMENTS: I really love this lip balm because, first of all, I love how in my stores it comes in individual packages because I hear in some places it doesn't which must suck because not all the colours look good on me. I have Quenched and Peppermint which I use at night and in the day I use the coloured ones, Pink Punch and Peach Kiss, I hate the Grape Vine and Cherry Me. What I also like about this product is that it comes in a cute package, I love the colours of them, like blue & pink, pink & yellow, peach & purple, and green & purple. What I also like is that it's super moisturizing and when I wear it at night my lips are super soft in the morning which I love! Plus, it smells good, feels good and tastes good! The only thing I don't like is that it's $4 just for one lip balm, so if I wanted them all I'd have to spend $24 on just 6 lip balms. But whatever, I think it's worth it! <3
I absolutely love this lip balm. It comes in cute containers, it really moisturizes, and it tastes great. In terms of the actual formula of balm and the benefits to your lips, it is fantastic. But, there are a few things I don't like about it. First of all, it's way too expensive in my opinion. Second, I don't like that it comes with a colored lipstick in the pack as well, because I've tried the colors and I don't like them, and I wish they would just sell them all separately because I have to pay for two products when I really just want the one, clear lip balm.
I first saw this on a magazine, attracted by the design of the tube and so I immediately added it to my to-buy list. When I did find the soothing cherry lip balm on the mall, the description on the back of the packaging was quite promising so I bought it. I had nooo regrets on it! I really did notice the change on how my lips felt, especially after I applied it overnight. It did reduce the lines on my lips, made it softer, and it smelled nice! Even better than the Nivea Soft Rose, because it's really moisturizing. (though the Soft Rose smelled best) And best of all, it's cheap!
this is a cool product! i've always had dried lips. i've been looking for a product that would give me the soft and moisturized lips i've been wanting for a long time now, until i came across this lip balm. the moment i tried it wow! i thought it would be like others that works for a few days then lost its effects after some time, for now this one's kinda perfect for me.. can't wait to try other colors and flavors! better than my burt's bees.
Pretty decent, smells amazing, it is moisturizing on my lips, and I like the color of Peach Kiss on me. The lasting power isn't that great but what cheap lip balm or lip gloss has great lasting power anyway lol. Collecting more and plus the packaging is SO adorable!
I wasn't sure about this product until I tried it! LOVE THIS TINTED LIP BALM! For starters, it has SPF 20 which is nice for protecting your lips. Also, the pigmentation is great! I have the shades Cherry Me (Nice reddish raspberry color), Pink Punch ( Bubble gum pink), and Grape Vine ( Deep Purply red). They all smell delicious! and they come with HEAPS of product. Like 2 lipsticks worth of product. The packaging is simple but colorful and fun! The bummer side of this is its not as moisturizing as I thought. Definitely not as moisturizing as the EOS lip balms, but not drying. I think you could go without applying a lip balm underneath but if you desire you can. But besides that I really love these and would love to try more! Price and availability wise, I have found them at Target, Walmart and CVS so far, but there is probably other places too. They are around 2-3 dollars which I think is a fair price. A must have!
