Usually, I'm more a fan of liquid liners, but Maybelline's gel liner is pretty good. The pigmentation is good, the application is easy and the staying power is great for a drugstore brand. The little brush that comes with the liner is quite useful, too. So, in a nutshell, this product was a pleasant surprise for me.
I LOVE this eyeliner! This is the best eyeliner I've tried so far. I've tried numerous pencil and liquid liners, but now I don't use any of those now that I've tried this gel liner. I love it because of it's intense color stay. Although it does smudge on me, I still love it. It's not the cheapest eyeliner, however. I believe I buy it for around $9, but it definitely lasts a very long time. I'm on my second jar!

I actually like this more than Fluidline. Stays put, Doesn't Smudge Very Black easy to apply. I will buy again
It is okay for me. Sometimes it is easily applied, but sometimes not. It is not smudgy (for me). But I might not buy it again because I want to find a better one.
AH! I love this stuff! I can't believe I've been living without it! I have loved gel pencil's in the past, and will probably still use those, but this is definitely my new favorite! So easy to use and apply and it stayed put the whole day! So excited about this product!

I had high hopes for this gel eyeliner but after trying it out a few times it really didn't hold up as well as I expected it to. The price and packaging are great. I don't see this drying out as fast as other gel eyeliners I've tried. Application is really nice, it goes on very smooth and creamy and the pigmentation is great as well. However the staying power doesn't hold up as well as other drugstore brands I've tried, lining your water line is almost impossible (very patchy and streaky looking) and even when only lining my upper lid I notice fading and get raccoon eyes within about 5 hours of applying it. Its an okay product that I will try to finish up but I don't plan on repurchasing. Its back to the trusty Loreal HIP gel liner.
Of the several gel eyeliners I've tried, this one is one of the best in terms of black pigmentation and lasting power. It also doesn't smudge or give you the dreaded ring on the brow bone after blinking. There is enough time to go over and correct the line too. I like the glass pot. Like others, drying out will occur before you are finished. However the price is comfortable and a re-buy is not a big deal.

I think it is OK. It is not the greatest, In order for me to get a decent application I always have to wet my brush first, otherwise I KNOW it will be flaky and way hard to apply. Its not really a "Gel" it is more like Wax.
I have this and MAC one. I don't know why every time I keep reaching for this one instead of MAC gel eyeliner. They are very similar except MAC is creamier and more difficult to control IMO
This is one of the better drug store gel liners on the market. I was kind of scared to try this after my bad experience with the Wet 'n Wild cream liner, but I've also had very good experience with Maybelline. This product is amazing! I regret not trying it sooner. It's a smooth gliding liner with incredible pigmentation. The only micro problem I've had with it is that when it's near my inner corner, it tends to wear off a little and at my outer corner, it smudges slightly, but it's nothing a little touch up can't fix. All in all, this is definitely one of my favorite liners and absolutely worth the buy.
