I got a sample of this from Sephora, and thought it was crap, but the bottle the SA took the sample from was separated. It was pure olive oil. I did buy the travel size though, and I'm liking it a lot. It seems like it makes my hair softer and very shiny, and I think the small tube will last quite a while. Hopefully it won't seperate.
This is great for de-frizzing and keeping my medium length, thick, straight hair from tangling. A little bit of this product goes a long way, so despite it's priciness, I get over a year's worth of use out of one tube. It has a nice texture and a non-offensive scent. I'll use a but before blowdrying and/or a bit before using the flatiron.
After an extended trial period, I am going to have to give this a thumbs down. It's sad because it should be the perfect product for my thick, dry and wavy hair. However, it's way too coating...makes my hair feel like there is a layer of paint on it. And secondly, the product separates constantly..and it's hard to mix back up. I prefer the Tech Glaze.
My dry over processed locks are loving this product! wow EDIT 8/06 I stopped using this product. I felt that after a while it wasnt working the same.
I agree with every positive review about this product. it is surprisingly weightless and effective and it smells so good. it smells clean and fresh with just a hint of citrus and olive. I cant help but sniff my hair when I use the glossing products. you really do only need a peanut size of the cream, which makes the travel size bottle last for a very long time. I have waist length super thick hair, and I only use about 2 "peanuts". I like to use this on damp hair before I blow dry. it makes my hair feels like real silk and not like my former wiry dry hair at all! it's like a deep conditioning treatment! I use this before I style on dry hair as well. it makes my hair seem to fall very nicely and it gives it a lovely sheen. I love the whole glossing line. it's pricy, but it's sooo worth it to have perfectly silky glossy hair. and I don't think that most products "are worth it" all the time. I didn't expect to be so wowed by it, but I am. I will repurchase when I run out of my tiny tube.
Love this! I have long super fine, flyaway curly hair that is prone to frizzies on humid days. This stuff is amazing! Makes hair super shiny and tames flyaways without weighing hair down. I bought as part of a set that included mini sizes of the Glossing Shampoo, Conditioner and Cream. I hate the Shampoo like poison! It doesn't foam at all and just leaves hair blah. Conditioner is so-so, but the Glossing Cream ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
This cream is excellent. The tube is great;I'm sick of turning things upside down like a ketchup bottle to get a product out. This makes you hair really shiny, soft and smooth.I bought the medium sized tube and it looks like it will last awhile.I put it on before and after blowdrying.Tames the frizzies!
This is the rare hair product that actually makes my hair look a lot better. I use just a tiny, tiny bit (I have short-ish, fine hair) after my hair is dry & it gives my hair the most amazing shine & movement & some separation/piecey-ness. I used it alone yesterday & that wasn't the best thing, it works best for me to use some styling product on my wet hair to give it body (my hair is very limp) & then use this as a finishing cream. Feels great on my hair, so soft. Smells good, too. A little pricey, but you can buy the tiny travel-size tube & it will last you a looong time, even if you have a lot more hair than me. A little really goes a long way. I definitely recommend this, it will make your hair look & feel so soft & pretty & natural.
UPDATE Ended up being too heavy for my wispy locks, so I gave to a friend with long, thick, gorgeous, curly hair. continued >>
I love love love this! The important thing is DO NOT USE ALOT...a little goes a long way, considering it has olive oil in it, it can become very oily if you use too much. I would not think this would be good for fine or limp hair either, as it would also be seriously oily. But if you have long, or thick hair, give it a try! I recommend buying the small travel size from sephora to give it a try, that way you aren't out alot of money if it doesn't work for you.
Love this stuff. I have very thick, dry, and wavy hair, and this made it soo smooth and soft. I used a little bit after ironing, and people were complimenting my hair all day. Will definitely repurchase, because the small tube is about $8 but you really only need a little bit each time its used.
