This is a little bit pricey but makes my hair feel nice and soft. I blow dry and straight iron so I am hoping this helps keep my hair in good condition.
Excellent product for taming dry frizzy hair and for adding shine. I purchased the large tube of this and am almost finished. I have chemically processed hair that has been colored and highlighted hundreds of times. This helps to tame my sometimes frizzy hair and add softness and shine. I just try not to use too much as it can weigh down my fine hair. A nickle-sized dallop is more than enough. FF has amazing products and I will definitely try more of them soon. I have already purchased 2 more 8oz tubes of these as backups :D Retails for $36.00 CAD for an 8oz tube and is available at Sephora & Holt Renfrew. continued >>
I love this stuff. I apply it to towel-dried hair right before I blow-dry. It keeps the frizzies at bay and gives my hair a nice shine that isn't the least bit greasy. I was a bit put off by the price, but a little goes a long way so it's well worth it. I have long, super-thick hair, and this stuff makes it looks sooo healthy and smooth.
It's probably one of the very few (IMO) products that do what they say. I apply it on towel-dried hair before blow drying and I don't have to use anything else afterwards. My hair is highlighted and damaged from heat styling but it's hard to tell after using this cream. Like others said before you only have to use a very small amount, otherwise it makes your hair greasy. Used in the right amount, it makes your hair like silk, shiny and healthy looking. I have fine hair and thinning after some recent breakage due to highlighting, so I still think i'm applying too much product because my hair has no body, but I totally recommend it to anybody with dry/damaged/coarse hair, it really does make a huge difference. I hardly notice the smell. Oh, and it's one of the best straighteners out there!
I color my hair so of course it is always dried out and brittle. My hair stylist kept reccomending product after product but nothing seemed to work, and after reading all of the rave reviews about Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Cream I decided to give it a try. After about a week my hair looked so shiney and healthy and it felt soft to the touch, and the next time I went to get my hair colored my stylist touched my hair and asked what I had used to make it so incredibly soft! Since then I have purchased 3 tubes!! A definate reccomendation in my opinion!
Finally caved after all the raves on here and in magazines and bought the small sample tube at Sephora...applied some while my hair was still wet (before blow-drying) and after as a smoother--definitely made my hair look and feel silky and shiny. Still had some frizzies, but not nearly as much as I've had with other "smoothing" or "shine" creams. The scent isn't overpowering and it didn't leave my hair feeling greasy...will definitely get the larger size when I'm out.
Highly recommended for those of you with over-processed hair, who can't seem to achieve shiny hair with other products.
I use this in conjunction with their Glossing shampoo and conditioner, and I've got to say... I've used many salon brands throughout the years, and this one takes the cake!
It imparts a subtle, natural looking shine... the type that healthy hair should have! I use it prior to blowdrying (something that always makes my hair frizz severely!). I normally have my hair styled in 1940s updos, and this helps keep my hair tame and managable. When working as a model, I notice my stylists hardly have to stop and put my hair into place between shots. I don't have my prior problem of flyaways!
THE BEST!!!!! I have tried everything for my dry, frizzy and colored hair.
I'd heard so many good things about this product and when I bought it, I wasn't disappointed. I'm currently on my second tube. This is a lightly scented very rich leave-in conditioner for your hair. If you have oily hair, I would not recommend this product because it does contain olive oil and castor seed oil. A dime-to-quarter-sized drop of this in my palm, then rubbed together and distributed through damp or dry hair results in super soft, sleek, shiny hair. No other product has ever managed to get it THAT soft! The smell is very green and natural - it's alright but not one of my favourite hair care scents. This cream is definately pricey; over $20 CDN for a 4 oz. tube but it lasted me nearly a year with daily use. As you reach the end, the oils separate from the cream and so you start to get a little puddle of oil in your palm instead of the rich cream. It also happens occasionally even before the end of the tube, but a quick shake can solve it. Nothing that would deter me from purchasing it again. Definately recommended! Sephora carries travel-sized versions of this cream if you are looking to just give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I have thick, dry, wavy hair and I love this product. However, I only use it after I blow dry my hair straight. It does a great job of smoothing and making my 'do look "piecy". I don't use it if Iwant to leave my hair wavy as it would weight it down. The scent is nice, my boyfriend always compliments me on how my hair smells when I use this product. There is some separation in the tube, but nothing a good shake won't solve.
