My review when I first posted must have really been a fluke, because I occasionally use this foundation now and it stays put better than anything I've ever used. It has a very soft finish and I set it with rice powder and it stays for hours - something no foundation does on my oily skin. It provides medium coverage and I still need to use concealer in problem areas, but I'd say that's a decent trade-off since it doesn't melt off of me! Definitely one of the best drug store foundations I've ever used.

I don't know if my bottle was just a fluke, but this stuff was horrible for me... it was super liquidy, impossible to blend, and offered virtually no coverage. On top of that it was very pricey for a drugstore brand. I'm very disappointed and returning it tomorrow!
I really do like this product. Not HG material, but definitely a good d/s foundation. It has very good coverage, and does a pretty good job of keeping the oilies away.

I tried this foundation in ivory over 2 yrs ago and didn't particularly love it because once it dried it has an orangey tint to it. (maybe I'm just crazy though) so I quickly moved on to cinema secrets and forgot about it. Then after a hair disaster, i decided I needed a foundation that was a shade darker than i usually used..so on a whim i picked this up in buff beige. WOW! I actually get compliments on my skin now...like others have said, a little goes a long way...otherwise it looks very masklike. it lasts and lasts...i do find i have to go a bit heavier on the blush...who cares it looks great...i'm going to have to change my cleanser though because spectro gel and cetaphil take forever for me to remove this!
*sigh*
beautiful foundation, controls oil better than anything else and is the only one ive tried that doesnt slide off around my nose (and ive tried loads including high end ones)
PROBLEM- gives me massive, sore pimples. got one within an hour thought it was coincidence.. washed it off really well at night but still had a faceful.. and they were big and painful not just like little bumps. cleared up the next day when i went back to my normal foundation.
SO GUTTED !
also the bottle isnt that flash.. pain in the ass really.
mmmh mixed feeling baout this one,, honestly i wouldnt buy it again, not after trying estee lauder double wear.. of course is alot expensier, butfor a product that last around 2 years, is perfect. better have quality in something that goes directly into your skin face
Nothing really spectacular about this. Im a DDD and it tends to make me look ashy no matter what I apply it with. I use this as a concealer though and i must admit its marvelous for spot coverage. Im still in pursuit for the best conceler that doesnt run, isnt too oily and is the right tone for my skin. So until then this will be my h/g.

I LOOOOVE this makeup! I have a very reddish face, and used to turn super red whenever I talked to people or got embarassed. But when wearing this makeup, the redness is completely covered and my skin looks flawless! I use Buff, and it perfectly matches the rest of my skin. I'm a server at a restaurant and never go to work without wearing this stuff- I am totally confident talking to people all the time knowing they can't see me blushing. I get sooo many complements on my skin all the time since starting to wear this foundation. I even wear it to the gym and to go out dancing and never have a problem with it sweating off. A trick to putting it on and not looking cakey is to first put on moisturizer, wait a few minutes, then paint on a thin layer with a foundation brush on small sections at a time, blending as you go. Also, make sure to wear some bronzer or blush on top of this since the coverage is so good it makes your face look all one color :) I will keep repurchasing this forever!

I love this foundation! This is the only LF I kept going back to after trying out so many. I am about NC20-25 and I use Buff. Actually Nude is good on me too, but I find that it oxidises way too much over the course of the day and Nude has too much pink tones in it and that resulted in me looking 2 shades darker and waaaay pinker than the rest of my body.
Buff is a great colour, very neutral, not too yellow nor too pinkish. I love Revlon foundations, but it's a pity that they do not carry the shade Buff here in Singapore:(
I apply this with my MAC 187 and I get an all-around even and nice airbrush finish so much so that my friends think I have naturally great skin.
I still need minimal concealer with this to cover those redness and blemishes though.
Only thing that sucked is the pour-out glass bottle. I get foundation smeared all over if I tip too much product especially when Im in a rush in the morning.

I bought this product a few days ago and so far I LOVE it. I get the color buff and it seems to be the perfect color for my skin. I use this for foundation and then I put my bare minerals powder over it and it makes my face nearly flawless. I have to say I'm extremely impressed with this liquid foundation, after being tired of having an orange face and wearing a mask I switched to bare minerals for about 6 months but I've just decided I want more coverage. I've heard a few girls say this breaks them out and so far it has not me, I think they may not be removing it correctly or completely. I haven't had any problems so I'll cross my fingers andf pray that I love it just as much in a few months!
I'm a light skinned Asian with freckles and broken capillaries all over cheeks. I also have some serious dark circles accentuated with my so unasianlike freckles. Oily t-zone and dry cheeks.
I REQUIRE my foundation to have some serious coverage while looking natural. And this foundation does just that...sort of.
To prevent cakey, mask like application, I spray little bit of vichy thermal water mist on the makeup sponge then apply this foundation, and apply some more for more coverage.
Mixing it with a drop of strobe cream waters down the coverage a bit, but makes my skin look naturally glowing.
Setting powder makes it look cakey. I do very light dusting of highlighting powder (something like bodyshop's shimmer wave) instead of using regular powder.
Warning: It can get cakey. (I tried to put on about ten layers of this in pursuit of flawless skin, and found out that I cannot smile without leaving very visible creases on sides of my mouth and nose. Haha.)
Do not talk or smile if you want to defreckle yourself with ten layers of this foundation.
Overall: like the price, coverage and texture. how long it lasts on my skin without darkening, but it can get cakey.
