I love this gel eyeliner! I've had trouble with most eyeliners in the past either being too dry, flaky, smudgy, irritating my eyes, etc, but this one is so perfect for me. It gives me the smooth application that lasts all day (even in hot temperatures), and looks fantastic. It's everything you could want in an eyeliner, and I am so thrilled at the high quality for such a good price. This is a must-try for those on the search of a great eyeliner.

Excellent drugstore product that does not have anything to envy to pricier gel liner. It goes on like a dream, lasts all day, does not smudge or flake. I love the brush that it comes in: perfect size and quality. No drawbacks whatsoever. Less than a tenner and fab results. Well done Maybelline.

Let me tell you - this is a WONDERFUL gel liner for such an inexpensive price. I've tried MAC fluidlines and BB gel liner and this product far outshines them both IMO. The pigmentation is amazing, they apply smoothly without being too dry or to wet and they last ALL DAY.

The brush that comes with this little bugger is also quite awesome. It makes application easy and fool proof, even allowing you to do a winged liner with ease.

I currently have this in Navy and Brown but I'm considering purchasing in every color because I love it so.

I bought this about a week ago and so far I am happy with it. Seems to stay on all day without flaking. I have slight problem with my eyeliner transferring to my upper lid, especially if my lids are oily or its summertime. I do have oily lids mostly due to using a creamy remover or eye cream at night. I use my fav. translucent face powder, Youngblood in Light around the line and the upper lid area. I personally did not experience flaking that others mentioned (air got into the container and dried it out?) and this stayed on my lid the next morning when I forgot to take my eye makeup off, so... This is my first experience with gel liner-I got the brown shade- a nice dark chocolate brown. I do not know about the product drying out in the jar, but will update if this happens. I also prefer using my own liner brush. The one that came with it is too stiff and short. Paid 9.99 for it at ULTA. In short this isnt perfect, but its not bad for a drugstore product.

Bought this in Boots for about £8 after seeing the ad on TV and loving all the other 24 hours products thought I would give it a go.

It is FAB! I never realised that it came in like a paint pot with a brush, it's like your painting a portrait of yourself!

It goes on so well and if you mess up you can wipe it off quickly and do it again and when it's dry that's it. I do have a bit of hood eye's so until it's dry I sometimes get transfer and if I get sweaty too. But I get the same thing with liquid and pencil liners too.

I got the black version and it looks so good, proper statement make up.

Just invest in a good make up remover it's quite persistent!

i bought my gel eyeliner from boots chemist in ilkley, they assured me the product does what it says it does...however..it does not..it does not stay on, it smudges and looks really untidy after a while..and for the price i have paid i am really dissapointed with it...so ladies if you are wanting an eyeliner that stays on, does not smudge then DONT buy this one..its rubbish!!!...its about time a cosmetic company made a decent waterproof eyeliner, or at least made products that do what they say they do...im fed up with being conned into buying rubbish....

I use gel liners quite a lot, Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay mostly. I've never had a reaction to them, but after using this one I got big red puffy eyes with dry flakey skin on the eyelids.
Save your money. The brush is amazing though, new favourite eyeliner brush.

I am sooooo pleased I bought this!!! I have had it for about a month. I have never tried a gel eyeliner before so cant compare it to anything else but for me, a total beginner, its amazing. I have always stuck to a pencil eyeliner because I am not that great at applying it but I wanted a gel to get a more intense colour. This gives a really dark intense black and stays on all day with no touch ups. I have been using the brush that comes with it and cannot believe how easy it is!!! I use it everyday now, its amazing. The plan was to try this and if I liked it and if I could apply it I would go and buy the MAC 1 but honestly don't think I need to. This does everything its meant to and fingers crossed mine doesn't dry out like others have mentioned. For £8 this is a bargain. Will buy over and over, although cant see it running out any time soon.

This was a cheaper alternative to MAC's gel liner so i had to try it. I have oily eyelids so when i use gel liners or liquid they tend to melt away and make me look like a racoon. With this eyeliner i hardly ever had creasing or smudging. It was very creamy and i noticed that when i set it with a black eyeshadow (MAC's carbon) that it lasted all day with no creasing or melting away. There were a few instinces where i didn't set it and it did crease and looked like i had put black all over my eye. If you have dry lids this might work great for you. I am going to try this again in the summer and see how it holds up under the heat and swimming!

This is the only gel liner I own, so I don't really know if there are better ones out there, but I am pretty happy with it. I have tried using other liner products before, but I find them difficult to apply and give up after 2-3 tries.

With this one, I have owned it for a couple of months and I really like it. It is really easy to apply, and doesnt require such a steady hand. the colour is pretty intense, although you have to do one or three strokes to get it really dark.

I dont have any problems with it smudging, and I have used it to the gym before. in fact, i find it really hard to remove that what i do is try to remove as much as possible with my makeup remover, then jump into the shower and try and wash the rest off. I will subsequently end up with raccoon eyes which i will use some baby wipes to remove :P

I am usually a bit self conscious about wearing makeup to uni, but with this one, i can apply just the right amount that it doesnt appear toooooo much. at least that's what i feel :)
