I purchased the Pink Punch lip balm not expecting much just a little ting of color and some smoothness from my sore cracked lips. But for the price being so cheap I really enjoyed the feel and scent of the Baby Lips, and am definatly going to try some other colors. Its like an older version of lip smackers!
I have four of these balms, which I purchased all together. If I had know how ordinary they were I wouldn't have bothered.
They are moisturising but don't stay on your lips long enough to be of any real benefit.
There is a bitter after taste and smell which overwhelms the flavour of the lip balm, it tastes really yucky.
I will use them up this summer but they are definitely not my favourites.
I love this product! I bought this in pink punch about two weeks ago and I can already tell that my lips have gotten softer! I was reluctant at first because normally I just buy the three chapstick pack for a dollar, but these are SO much better! They come in a bunch of cute colours, and there is actual colour payoff! Plus they smell AMAZING! I could smell it all day...but that would be wierd :P the packaging is also very cute and very summery! I will be repurchasing. I highly recommend this! :)
I just purchased this yesterday and today I am going back for a couple more colors. I love it! I was using Carmex before and it was actually making my lips MORE dry. Honestly, I have been applying Baby Lips pretty frequently because my lips are so dry, but I love the silkiness when it goes on. And for everyone who complains that it doesn't hydrate, I wonder how long they have been using it? With just about any beauty/skin product it takes anywhere from several days to a few weeks to see real changes. I will definitely purchase this again!
I love this lip balm. It is incredibly hydrating and I will never go back to my regular chapstick or EOS lip bams again. I own this in Quenched which is the clear one. It hydrates my lips very well and leaves a glossy lipgloss-like sheen to my lips. I have also tried the cherry flavored ones and that one is surprisingly tinted for a lip balm and leaves a gorgeous red color on the lips.
I have tried both the Quenched and Cherry Me flavors/colors of this gloss balm. I really like how smoothly it goes on and I like to apply this in layers because of it. It doesn't have the sticky, waxy or overly thick feeling of traditional lip balm. The downside of this is that I have to reapply often because it does slide off and fade easily. I did like the scent of both varieties that I've tried but I found that the tint of the Cherry Me was a bit too bold and is probably best suited for someone with darker skin or with minimal makeup. I probably will try more shades of this product next time I am in need of lip balm.
I have only one in the Pink Punch. I have to tell you this product smells beyond amazing. Yet when I put it on it feels a little to greasy like its not chapstick. Its too light to be lipgloss but not think enough to be lipstick. I honestly think I might by the product again but instead of overall rubbing the product on my lips I might try dabbing it. I heard amazing things from tumblr and Facebook and this is really not a product to hype about in my opinion. This didn't help reinstore my dry lips but it could be something to keep in your purse for just in case reasons.
i bought baby lips in pink punch for $4 in walmart because of the pretty packaging and fruity scent but looks can be deceiving. it was supposed to hydrate and moisturize my lips but it only made my lips more dry and cracked than before i started using it. i had to keep re-applying because it drys off very quickly. i will not purchase this product in the future because it was not satisfying and a waste of money
I tried Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm in the 'flavour' Quench. I would not re-purchase this product because though they come in cute packaging and yummy flavours Baby Lips didn't really help me; it seemed to dry out my lips and I found myself re-applying it every 15 minutes.
Just got this today and here (in Jakarta) it's called "Smoothing Cherry". I love the fragrance and the taste. Reminds me of something I used to either play with or use as a child, could be one of my bubble bath gels so for sentimental reasons; this adds a point for my personal use. It's really cheap I like the texture because ironically, some lip balms actually crack your lips or waxes up which can be very irritating-- especially when they crease around the corners of your lips! I'm very pernickety with what I put on my lips (especially lip balms and lipstick (I hate lip gloss)), so this one won me. :D
