This brush is absolutely AMAZING. So soft, great quality, sleek (& expensive looking) packaging, NO shedding whatsoever.. Perfect for blush, my MAC MSF Natural, loose or pressed powder, bronzer! Even contouring if you just use the edge of the brush. If anything happens to this brush I will DEFINITELY be repurchasing! So cheap as well :) x continued >>

I love this brush! It's actually the best foundation (I know it's for powder, but I use it for foundation application as well) brush I've ever tried. I bought it when ELF had their 50% studio line so it was only $1.50. The brush weight is perfect, the bristols are soft and full. The only complaint I have about it is it's a hit or miss type of product. I bought the first one and that one was in perfect condition, but the second one I bought, it was somewhat shedding (but not anymore), and the handle is loose. I think the only thing ELF has to change about this product is make them more consistent. But other than that, I love it!

I feel like I've finally discovered the secret to great skin = Maybelline liquid foundations (they're all great!) + this brush!

Allow me to explain my foundation routine history. In the beginning I always applied liquid foundation with a round sponge. I liked the finish it gave but I was constantly upset over the amount of dry flaky skin on my face! I exfoliated and moisturized like crazy, but I still was getting terrible flakies. For the longest time I just thought I had bad skin and this was the way it was. But then for some reason I started putting foundation on with my hands, old school. And the flakies all but disappeared! The sponge was hyper-exfoliating my face and causing the flakies. My hands did not do that, but I wasn't satisfied with the finish I was getting. It looked patchy and odd in places, and the coverage was light at best.

One day I glanced at my ELF powder brush, which I've had forever and only used for blush prior to this. I decided to try 'stippling' my foundation on with it. I'd heard a lot about this method, but was skeptical and afraid that swiping my face with a brush would cause a return of the flakies. But the key is patting & pouncing the brush across your face rather than swiping. I haven't have anymore problems with flakies since using it! It gives a lovely 'airbrushed' finish and also improves the coverage of the foundation, which is awesome!

The reason I only gave this brush a 3 is because the handle separated from the ferrule on mine after limited use and washing. I've shoved it back on there, and it seems like it will stay, but it aggravates me with how it kind of rocks back and forth as I move the brush. But still...$3!!! Even cheaper if you catch an ELF sale. I will happily repurchase. It's a fantastic brush, it's majorly soft and hasn't shed a bit for me. continued >>

Never owned an ELF brush before and with the positive reviews and feedback I thought I would purchase this one. Personally I was totally bummed out that after 3 uses the handle fell off and it started to shed. I did re-glue the handle back on, but with all the shedding it I had to toss this brush out. I must of purchased a defect or something, but after this experience I really don't care for trying any further ELF brushes.

This is the best make up brush ever. It's so good, it's the only brush I want to use for the whole face make up. It applies my foundation like a dream, it's best for applying powder, bronzer and blush too. I have two of these and I'm definitely going to get few back ups, because I will never want to do my make up without these brushes again.
The quality of the brush is also amazing, compared to it's cheap prize. It even looks stylish. It doesn't shed, even if I've washed both of my brushes multiple times. And it's so soft, yet dense to apply my liquid foundation flawlessly. I stipple my foundation on and this brush gives me a lot more even result with a less time than an actual stipple brush, which have been unused since I bought these ones.
A perfect proof that good stuff doesn't always have to cost a lot.

I love the finish I get from my powder brush, and I use mine almost exclusively for liquid foundation, although I am planning on getting another one soon to use for cream blushes and as a backup. To be honest I haven't used this with powders and I don't really think I'd use a flat topped brush for that.
A lot of the reviews for this product lately seem to be about falling bristles and problems with the brush holding up, but I've have mine for over 9 months and have not had a problem, and in fact it looks almost as good as when I bought it.

Love this brush, I get a flawless finish from this a lot easier than my stippling brush, and for the price, you can't go wrong.

I LOVE this brush! I have three, and I use them for everything you could imagine; liquid foundation, bronzer, powder, blush, etc. It's so soft and dense, it's great for buffing in liquid foundation, blending creme blushes, and contouring with bronzer. In the few months I've had these brushes, I haven't had any problems with them shedding. The brush itself feels really sturdy and looks very chic and expensive. A+!!!

Love these brushes, I plan on buying many more!
